"We should put down the fire and save her!" someone in the horrified crowd shouted, pushing through the onlookers and rushing toward the blazing car.
"How does he know it's a woman inside?" a woman murmured, clutching her partner's arm. The car was completely tinted, and no one had a clue about the driver.
The man reached the burning vehicle, his brows creased with worry, a smug smirk hidden behind his black mask. Looking around, he quickly grabbed a can conveniently left on the pavement nearby.
"Someone call the fire engines!" he screamed, hurriedly opening the lid, intending to douse the flames.
But as he tilted the can, a strong smell hit those nearby. Everyone's eyes widened in horror. "Stop! It smells like kerosene!" someone screamed, but it was too late.
