I suddenly woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing. With frustration I got up and turned it off facing the reality.
I rubbed my face to snap out of my sleep but a second glance at my pillow brought me down to my weakness. SLEEP! I slept back again without even checking the time.
The door flung open, and my mom came through wielding her flipflops. She wacked me on my butt and I yelped with pain.
"Oh, mom what is it?" I screamed. "Get up! you are going to be late for school" she yelled back.
I tilted my head to look at her and my heart instantly melted at the sight of her wrinkles and signs of aging.
I therefore decided not to do anything to complicate things. "Okay mom." I said with a muffled. "Be ready in thirty minutes" she said and walked out of the room
I reluctantly got of the bed and walked straight to the bathroom taking of my clothes along the way.
I stepped into the cubicle and turned the faucets. The water poured out and cascaded down my smooth skin.
I fell into my previous trance and this time around I couldn't resist myself.
My hands fondled my breast, and I felt it sliding way down. My hands something which increased my excitement.
I closed my eyes and fantasized about something which made me yearn for more.
I bit my lip and inserted my finger. The feeling was so good but deep down it felt wrong.
I gasped at every stroke, and I just couldn't bring myself to stop. I did my best to balance myself but the faster I went the more I could feel my knees knocking against each other.
Soon, I was on the ground stroking faster at every single second with my legs widely open.
The reflection from the glass doors depicted something I had never seen before. A girl with nothing but pleasure and delight.
A warning knock on my door from mom snapped me out of my trance. I quickly got up and bathed myself.
I made sure to wash my self-clean. I stepped out of the cubicle and brushed my teeth.
Satisfied I came out and undertook my beauty routine, finally putting on some makeup to add to definition
I picked up my uniform and smiled. "This is going to be good." I squealed silently. I first put on my short-sleeved shirt and then the pinafore. It felt great to be in it.
I glanced at the clock, it read 7:45 am. The bus was due at 8. I packed up my bag, picked up my phone.
Checking myself one last time, I immediately walked out with my bag over my shoulder. I scrolled through my messages as I walked over to the kitchen area. Mom noticed and she frowned at it.
"Don't blame me. I need to be well equipped." I said turning the screen to her. She closed her eyes halfway to try to read but couldn't.
She shrugged but still shot me a dirty look. "Well then hurry. The bus will be here soon." she said. I shook my head and dug into my scrambled eggs.
I hadn't eaten much but I found myself already satisfied. I walked over to Mom and gave her warm kiss on her forehead.
"Take care of yourself okay. Be yourself okay and above anything else know that I Iove you. You are my world. I love love love love you."
She said stretching my cheeks in a joking way. "Yeah, yeah me too." I said kissing her on her cheek repeatedly. "I love you mom." I said and embraced her even more.
"Go, go." she said sniffling back her tears. I raced over to the door and with a final turn, I gave her a goodbye.
I stood over at the bus stop and waited for the school bus. Several buses passed by. They looked quite old and rusty.
I sighed and took a look at my pinafore. It had the initials X.S.E boldly embroided on it. I was very much excited.
A huge bus honked, and I lifted my head to check. It had X.S.E on its front.
I squealed with delight but managed to control myself. I could make out a few silhouettes in the vehicle.
"Maybe I am early." I thought. it screeched to a halt right in front of me. The doors opened with a hissing sound and the driver looked at me with a questionable expression.
I entered with trepidation and greeted him. "New right?" he asked. "Yes, I replied. He nodded and I moved to my seat.
There were about eleven people in the sixty-seater bus. The individuals sat far apart from each other minding their own business whiles doing other things.
My smile immediately disappeared with my heart and mind racing as well. Maybe the school didn't really have enough students.
But that was impossible. Xavier School of Elites was and still is the best in the country.
Only students with rich family status or Einstein brains could there. But there I was staring into the void of the half empty bus.
There was a boy in the first row who looked at me shyly. He looked like he had seen an apparition. "Hi" I greeted but there was no response.
His face then changed to that of disgust. He even went to the extent of putting his hoodie over his head to repel me.
I saw the other girls and their facial expression showed that they were not in the least bit happy. The sudden jolt of the car into motion caused me to almost trip over.
I quickly sat down and sunk into my seat trying to ignore the eyes that were on me. eventually, they stopped looking and I sighed with relief.
I sat up and I cocked my head to scan the area, but I immediately locked eyes with a boy three seats ahead of me.
I ducked with fright. I cocked my head again and I realized he was still looking I frowned at him, and he requited with broad smile.
He waved and I intensified my smile causing him to stop. He smirked and rose to his feet. "God damn it!" I thought aloud.
He walked over to me and sat right next to me. "Hello newbie" he said in a husky voice. I smiled awkwardly.
He was handsome and quite robust with light emerald eyes. He had a scar right underneath his chin.
I wondered why he didn't have facial hair. his hair was short, shiny and curly coupled with a low fade. It made him look extra neat.
"I am Lucas Gonzalez." he said with a broad smile revealing his cute dimples. I kind of liked them. "Yeah, I am Ciara. Ciara Augusto" I said gruffly.
His smile was quite intimidating yet charming. It was like I knew him all my life. "How did you know I was new?" I asked finally gaining composure.
"Never seen you around, plus I heard your conversation with the driver." he said with a British accent. I gasped and smiled.
Finally letting my guard down. We both silently stared at each other unable to resist. There was some strange connection between us and neither of us was interested to know how.
"Well then..." he said rising to his feet. "See you when I see you." he added and walked back to his seat. He winked at me as he sat down.
I blushed inwardly but quickly brushed it off. It didn't mean anything. I just met him. I sat back and looked through the window, mesmerized by the beauty of the buildings and people.
For a moment everything felt extremely peaceful. the bus entered went through an underground tunnel and drove up hill towards a magnificent building.
I gasped at the sight of it and could only wonder how great it would feel to be inside. The bus entered a glassy tunnel and screeched to a halt right in the parking lot.
I checked the time, and it was 8:45 in the morning. All the other students in the bus got down from the bus except Lucas who insisted on walking with me.
He held his hand out to me, and I placed mine in his. Hand in hand we both walked out of the bus.
The scene outside was spectacular. All I could see was money. Several boys and girls either stepped out of their luxurious cars or parked them in an orderly manner.
I still held hands with Lucas, and it felt soothing. "Shall we" he said again with another smile. I nodded and together we went through the gates into the magnificent hallway.
We went to many rooms often taking pictures together. I felt happy inwardly for the first time. "Come, let's go see the cafeteria?" He suggested.
"Sure" I said. We walked down the hallway. I immediately realized the aura around. Everyone walked in groups and cliques.
The rest who walked solo looked quite intimidating and sinister, but the groups possessed way more effect than them.
"Are you okay" he asked me still wearing his smile. In my head I felt he will never get tired of smiling. I nodded with affirmation, and we stepped into the cafeteria.
It was quite empty. Kind of felt half of the population of the school there.
"Is it always like this?" I asked staring intently into his eyes. They conveyed a feeling of calmness. "Not really. It only jams on Fridays but it's okay, I'll teach you the flow." he assured with a conspicuous slang.
We sat over at a distant table, and we chatted to who knew when. "When does class start?" I asked straightening my hair.
"It starts at 10. but if you want you can bunk it. I mean it's no big deal... right?" He asked with a smirk. "I don't think so. I think I need to get comfortable, with that I need to know my teachers." I said with a faint smile.
"Sure, but I think you should have fun. I mean its college, no one is going to bother you. I know a place we can go if you want,"
"Are you asking me to bunk school?" "Yeah maybe. what is bad about it?" He asked still wearing his smirk.
His words began to piss me off. "Nice offer Mr. Gonzalez, but I think I will pass" I said, rolling my eyes as well. He smirked with distaste expecting me to react, but I ignored him.
"Well, you are going to miss out. Come, let me introduce you to the group." He said rising to his feet forgetting to take my hand.
I noticed his displeasure even though he tried to hide it. I too had ego, so I guess we were not willing to let it go either way.
I followed him obediently out of the hall taking note of each dynamics we came across. I tried to keep my head up, purposely trying to be cool but deep down I was so shy.
We eventually got to the outyard. It had a lot of trees. It looked like a garden mostly with students around. Some sat at the base of the tree whilst others sat on benches in the form of an X.
Far off I noticed a group which looked unusual. They looked rich and quite reserved. Thier intimidating aura sent chills down my spine.
"oh there they are, come on." He said this time trying to hold my hand.
I frowned and ignored him. He understood my reason and complied with my sudden coldness. He led me to the same group, and we sat down on one of the benches facing them.
"Hey guys what's popping?" he asked them, biting hard on his gum. "Lucas, who is this?" A handsome boy asked in an alluring voice. I looked at him and this time found myself mesmerized by his stunning looks.
"This is Ciara Augusto." he replied. I blushed inwardly waiting for his reaction. "I didn't ask for her name; I meant her status." he said coldly. Lucas smiled with displeasure.
"Sel, could you take it easy, she is not a threat." Lucas said trying to salvage the situation. The handsome boy glared at me, and I could see I wasn't in his good books.
"Which family are you from?" a girl asked. She was busily sucking on a lollipop whiles texting. I looked at her awkwardly and smiled.
She shifted her gaze to me, and I recoiled. "Uh, I, I, I, am from the Augusto family" I replied stuttering.
She chuckled faintly and glared at me again. "Well, what do you have?" she asked again this time giving her full attention to me.
Her action started to attract the scrutiny of other students around. "What do I have?" I tried to say.
"She meant your family status." Selim interrupted with his full-on glare. I noticed he was clutching on to an odd-looking dagger. It had the initials MP on it.
"Oh that, well my mother is a trader, she deals in all kinds of stuffs. Oh, she can also sew and design the best dresses..." I was saying, with much happiness but the cold looking girl suddenly cleared her throat loudly interrupting me rudely.
"So technically you are a peasant?" She asked with a disgusted look. I stared at her with a questionable look. "Excuse me, we are not peasants, we are just..."
"What? tell me exactly what you are. PAUPERS.?" she asked. Everyone around the table started laughing hysterically including Lucas which made me feel kind of awkward.
"Tell me, what is your net worth?" she asked. I shook my head and that added more fuel to the laughing fire.
"Hey guys it's okay, I think we should give miss no net worth here some breathing space." he said.
I watched with pain as Lucas joined them in the laughing spree. I felt like I was being setup. It made me sick to my stomach and all I wanted to do was throw up.
"I think I need to go to the restroom." I said rising to my feet with my head still bowed. "Wait, we are not done yet." she said doing her best to make me sit. "Let her go, maybe she desperately needs some toilet paper." He said with a smirk.
"My little advice newbie don't take too much, maybe you can't afford it." he added. The sound of that sent a powerful burn rush through me. I regained my composure, and I raced to the bathroom leaving them behind.
