The distance from Chief Rarluk's farm to the brothel was approximately a 20 minutes' walk, but on horseback, it took less than 5 minutes.
Brutus arrived less than 5 minutes after the loud sound reverberated through the village, but he didn't rush into the scene though.
He tied the horse to a tree 2 buildings away from the brothel, and that was where he watched what was happening.
Brutus had a cold smile on his face. 'It's already happening'.
…
"Emily, let's talk".
Emily, the matron of Luvre Village's brothel looked at the 2 cultivators that were standing before her. She forced a smile. "Chief Omar, to what do we owe this unexpected visit? And this late?"
"You should have called so I could have prepared one of our best girls for you," she winked. "You know, the stars, but unfortunately most of them are now buried under the rubble, except this gem".
She smiled, gently caressing the hair of the frightened girl that was beside her. Yes, she managed to save her star worker.
Emily was foremost a businesswoman than anything else.
The moment that she felt the violent clash of qi energy erupt in her brothel, the first thing she thought of was securing the life of her greatest investment, the star of her brothel and she was able to save the girl before the brothel collapsed.
Chief Omar, the chief of Vulva Village was similar to Chief Rarluk in a lot of ways. He was younger than Chief Rarluk, but he had the same physical traits, big belly and all the likes.
The main difference between both chiefs though was their intelligence. Chief Omar was not as foolish as his counterpart here in Luvre Village.
At this moment, this middle-aged chief stared at Emily, a lecherous glint in his eyes. "I've always wanted to have you to myself you know, but you were always so stubborn".
Emily chuckled naturally. "I'm a flexible woman chief, it's not too late for you to explore the pleasures of my treasure island". She winked.
Chief Omar grinned. "That is why I like you, you're a businesswoman".
This chief stared at her with a teasing smile, and then it quickly disappeared, his face turning cold. "You're a smart girl Emily, you can judge the current situation".
"I don't know why that old fart is not here yet but the fate of Luvre Village is already sealed". He smiled coldly. "Rarluk shall die tonight, that girl too, including anyone that dares to oppose my actions this night".
Chief Omar stared at her. "Do you want to die?"
Emily didn't answer, rather smiling, she stared at her star worker. "Girl, tell the chief our answer".
The frightened worker shook her head vigorously. "I-I don't want to die".
"There you have it". Emily took a step towards the chief but Chief Omar stopped her. "Remove all your weapons, drop them".
She stared at him seductively. "Come on chief, that's so cold".
"Do it, now!"
Emily smiled, she didn't argue, removing all her daggers and dropping them.
"Including that blade in your boot!"
"So cold". Emily chuckled and with a clanking sound, she dropped the blade that she hid in her boots always as a last resort.
Immediately after, the other cultivator, a middle-aged man who seemed like a capable warrior moved, picking up all the weapons. With that, Emily and her star investment finally moved to the side of the chief.
She kissed him on the cheek. "Relax chief, I'm all yours".
Vulva Village just went from 3 cultivators to 4 cultivators!
And now, the 3 cultivators looked at the dreadful battle between the 2 cultivators now in the ruin of Luvre Village's brothel.
Staring at the ruin of her brothel, Emily winced. 'Leah, you bastard!'
BOOM!
Another clash of qi energy created a powerful shockwave.
At this moment, 2 cultivators were engaged in a bitter battle to the death.
The pirate who came to avenge his brother's death wielded 2 sharp daggers. This pirate was an out and out warrior, a cultivator who focused on cultivating the power of his body. His power was explosive.
As for Leah, she wielded a short sword on her left hand while holding a book with an archaic brown wooden cover on her right hand.
Unlike the pirate, Leah was a mage who also learned a few hand-to-hand combat techniques, a soul warrior.
In the world of cultivation, cultivators could either become warriors or mages. It was just a simple distinction of knowing your strength, either focusing on body cultivation or soul cultivation.
Body cultivation enhances physical strength, the Jade Emperor was the purest and strongest form of a body cultivator.
Soul cultivation enhances soul power which is the base for magic.
The book that Leah held on her right hand was a grimoire, a textbook of magic. Having spent most of her life savings on this basic grimoire, she had access to a lot of basic mage spells.
At this moment, while fending off the pirate's aggressive barrage of attacks with her sword, Leah retreated calculatively, buying herself time to chant and unleash spells on this body cultivator.
"DIE!!!" The pirate screamed, lunging in for another attack.
"You worthless whore!"
"Today, you shall die for taking Acker's life!"
"Back at you pathetic pirate!" Leah responded coldly.
BOOM!
They clashed again.
In her baggy jean clothes, Leah was like a misfit in this battle but that was how her whole life had always been like; she was always a misfit.
"Fireball!" Leah chanted, sending a ball of fire towards her opponent who blocked it with his daggers, holding it long enough to evade.
"Exploding fireball!"
The fireball exploded but the pirate was already gone, charging towards her with speed but Leah was faster.
"Earth wall!"
A wall of earth rose up, blocking the body cultivator's charge.
The pirate was frustrated. "Stop hiding behind your pathetic magic spells, come fight me like a man whore!"
Leah smirked. "Fool, I'm a woman!"
At this moment, Leah may be keeping him at bay, fighting confidently and insulting him even but she knew that it was just a temporary measure. She was fighting a losing battle.
She paid attention to Chief Omar and his subordinate. 'When that lapdog of his finally intervenes, it's over for me'.
She gritted her teeth. 'Am I really going to die today?'
She was desperate, she could see no way of winning nor escaping.
She stared at Emily and she could not help but snort coldly. 'Typical of her, bloody businesswoman!' She cursed.
Leah saw no way out, she was trapped.
'If I'm going down, I'm going down fighting!'
