Chapter 12 - Ch 12: Finding an Inn

Hearing that both of them ended their conversation for the time being and Leona took Freya to a different room. Another receptionist was waiting for them there and she handed Freya her brand new licence. It was made using platinum indicating Freya as a platinum rank adventurer.

Leona then introduced the receptionist in that room as Yuka and she was going to become Freya's personal receptionist for the adventurer guild. If Freya had any questions or problems in the future, she could ask Yuka about it. Yuka would also always be available for Freya if there was any need.

Yuka bowed her head to Freya and told her that she was looking forward to working with her. She was behaving modestly and gave the impression of being a capable and serious person. But Leona broke that image by slapping Yuka hard on her ass.

She then laughed loudly and told Freya to not be fooled by the way Yuka was acting. This girl was definitely not as modest and serious as she now looked. To prove her point, Leona even told Freya about an incident where Yuka left the guild early with a group of adventurers to help them sort out materials from a big hunt and ended up fucking all six of them while skipping her work in the guild.

Leona told Freya that most of the receptionists in the guild were used to having many sexual relationships. Obviously there were some who did not participate in such acts but that was rare. The unity among the receptionists was very high, so no one had faced any trouble for it. Especially because they had guild master Leona supporting them.

...

After Freya got her licence, she and Leona again returned to the guild master's room. This time Freya made a request to Leona. As she had just entered the city, she still did not have a place to live here. So she asked Leona for a place to stay. Freya could just live in an inn but as she needed to practice her alchemy and other magic, an inn room would not be enough. So she wanted Leona's help to find a decent house for herself.

Freya had quite a decent amount of money with her. It was not enough to live her whole life without worrying about anything but at least it should be enough to buy a small house. And she was planning to start earning money with her alchemy very soon, so money should not be a problem for her very soon.

Only humanoids and demons used currency and almost all the nations had a different type of currency. But humanoid races had the same system and even if all the nations had different designs on their currency, the system they used to judge the value of the currency was the same everywhere. This was also true for the demons but they had a different currency system from the humanoids. The materials that they used for their currency was also different.

The lowest currency unit for humanoids was a copper coin. One copper coin was equal to 1 tor. 100 copper coins were equal to a silver coin. There were also large copper coins and one large copper coin was equal to 10 regular ones. There were also gold and platinum coins. One gold coin was equal to 100 silver coins valuing at 10000 tors and one platinum coin was equal to 100 gold coins and had the value of 1 million tors. Currently Freya had special witch coins which were usable in both humanoid and demon territory valuing about 6 platinum coins or 6 million tors. It was definitely not a small amount of money but it was not too much money either.

Hearing that Freya was searching for a place to stay, Leona promised her to find a good property. But obviously it was not possible to find a house for her immediately so for the time being Leona invited Freya to stay in the inn which was run by one of her friends. Freya thanked Leona and accepted the offer. It would save her from the hassle of searching for a good inn all by herself.

Leona did not have much work to do for the time being, so she decided to escort Freya to the inn. Leona would not be able to stay out for too long as she still had some work left but she was planning to have another fun chat with Freya in the evening after she was done with all her work. Freya also agreed to this proposal.

While going toward the inn, both of the beautiful ladies attracted a lot of attention. But both of them were fine with it and were actually happy about getting the attention. Freya noticed another building which was slightly larger than even the adventurer guild and saw that it was the merchant guild of this city.

Seeing this Leona told Freya that the merchant guild would be the best avenue if Freya wanted to sell her alchemical products. If she wanted to sell through a shop then she would have a limited customer base. It would be fine if Freya opened a shop herself but Leona felt like Freya was not the type of person who would want to stay cooped up inside a shop all the time. So the best option for her would be to have a partnership with the merchant guild.

Leona promised to write a letter of introduction for Freya for the marchant guild master. As Freya was a witch who was good in alchemy and a powerful person, there was no way the merchants guild would not want to work with her but still having a letter of introduction was a good thing. So Freya thanked Leona again.

...

While talking like this, they finally reached the inn that Leona was talking about. It was not located on the main road or the busiest part of the city and instead was located inside an alley close to the busiest area. This inn also looked very well maintained so Freya was satisfied with this.

They came in and an elf in the reception greeted them. It turned out this elf lady named Lana was Leona's mother's friend and this inn belonged to her. Currently instead of thinking of Lana as her aunt, Leona treated her more like a friend. This was common for elves and half elves who had a very long lifespan. She also invited Lana to join them in the evening chat and she took happily agreed.

Leona needed to return back to the guild for work so she did not stay for long. Freya also had something to do so she also went to her room after having a little small talk with Lana. Freya had booked the largest room in the inn and after seeing the room, she was satisfied. She had something to do now and she needed a large area for that. Fortunately this room was large enough for her needs and Freya was now ready to do what she was planning.

Now what was Freya planning to do in this room ?
