Chapter 43 - Chapter -43 Beating them left and right.

Chapter -43.

Dudley casually picked up several wands, and with a little effort, he easily took the wands from the young wizards. Without their wands, they were no different from regular folks, unless they had mastered the advanced skill of performing magic without a wand.

Unfortunately, that skill was well beyond even the most skilled Aurors who graduated years ago, let alone these young wizards.

He swiftly knocked them down one at a time.

"Data magic eye, it really comes in handy."

This special ability, gained from completing a task at home, allowed Dudley to visualize the room in his mind and provided him with a wealth of useful information. For example, while he was taking down his opponents, it could indicate where to hit for maximum impact, where to strike to render someone unconscious, or where to inflict pain without showing any visible injury.

It was, quite simply, a fighting tool.

This was just the basic level; if he could elevate it to a higher tier, the information available would undoubtedly become even more comprehensive.

It might even give him complete details on every wizard he encountered.

For instance, what about a wizard with a power level of just 5?

Hmm, that would be a bit rude.

The young Slytherin wizards clearly didn't expect Dudley to fight back against their numbers; they were caught off guard. They were relying solely on their numeric advantage to intimidate him, completely untrained in combat and wizard dueling.

Within moments, several of them were downed by Dudley, and their wands naturally ended up in his possession, which he casually kicked into his pocket. "Why are you all running? He's all alone, and there's so many of us!"

In the midst of the chaos, someone shouted, only to be swiftly knocked down by Dudley's wand.

A punch for each young wizard; Dudley showed no mercy, even with the girls, often taking them down in a single strike.

When they decided to go up against Dudley, gender didn't matter.

Having a larger group usually provides an advantage, but unfortunately for them, it also meant they were an uncoordinated crowd— a bunch of young wizards with no training whatsoever.

Dudley charged in like a fierce tiger among a flock of sheep, seeming unstoppable.

"Use spells! Attack him with spells!"

Slytherin wasn't just full of weaklings; plenty of talented young wizards were there. If not, they wouldn't have been able to compete with Gryffindor for so many years, and Slytherin wouldn't have won the House Cup for seven consecutive years. If they secured it this year, it would be their eighth win, provided they managed to pull it off.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

After a flurry of action, one of them finally managed to cast a spell that could actually hurt Dudley. Facing the approaching curse, Dudley calmly grabbed a young wizard and used him as a shield.

Except for a few specific spells, most curses have predictable effects. If you're aware of the magic's trajectory, dodging becomes much simpler.

Simple spells were easy for Dudley to evade.

As for spells with curves, those would typically be used by adult wizards, and clearly, these younger ones were not up to that level.

The spell hit the unfortunate young wizard, causing his face to blanch as he became stiff.

The unfortunate target of the spell was none other than Goyle, one of Malfoy's minions.

For Dudley, who was already familiar with standard spells, dealing with various curses was much easier than it was for these younger wizards to comprehend the spells they were casting. For example, when faced with the "All petrified" curse, he merely had to grab someone nearby to use as a shield— and there were plenty to choose from.

So, despite the sheer number of young wizards, Dudley found them much easier to handle than he would have found Hagrid.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

Another spell was launched as a third-year student attempted a surprise attack on Dudley.

Dudley swiftly held up another person to block it again. With one hand on their body, he snatched the wand from the young wizard who had just cast the spell.

The movement was fluid and quick, like something that had been perfectly rehearsed.

Sometimes, having a crowd doesn't always work in your favor.

In the midst of cries and moans, another wand was taken from a fallen opponent.

Untrained young wizards could hardly be seen as anything except a disorganized rabble.

This time, the victim of the petrification spell was another of Malfoy's followers, Crabbe. Then Dudley casually pulled a potion from his pocket and tossed it into the crowd. The bottle shattered, releasing a light yellow gas that enveloped the young wizards.

These were slow-down potions; unlike Hagrid, who had exceptional resistance, these young wizards would feel the effects— their speed and reactions would drop by more than fifty percent.

Now their reactions and speed paled in comparison to Dudley's, and with that debuff, they were significantly less of a threat.

Taking advantage of the moment, Dudley approached the petrified Goyle. With a smirk, he effortlessly picked up both the petrified Crabbe and Goyle, one in each hand, as the other young wizards looked on in terror.

What kind of monster is he? He can lift someone so heavy, even when they're petrified? What on earth has Malfoy gotten us into?

Didn't we hear he was just a slightly stronger mudblood? We were told he could be easily squished!

Is this what you call slightly strong?

The crafty Slytherin young wizards lost their will to fight, wanting to flee like startled birds, but sadly, they were slowed down and couldn't run fast.

Meanwhile, Dudley, holding onto Malfoy's two followers' ankles, weighed them in his hands. They felt just right— not too heavy, not too light.

"Hey," he turned his head, flashing a 'friendly' smile at the Slytherin young wizards. However, to them, it didn't seem friendly at all.

Especially with his facial muscles tense, that smile looked forced.

Have you ever seen a poorly carved puppet? It was almost like that.

With Crabbe in his left hand and Goyle in his right, Dudley swung them around like human battering rams, charging at the Slytherin young wizards, who cried out in distress as they stumbled over one another. "Brutal!"

This fierce display left a lasting impression on the young Slytherin wizards.

What unnerved them even more was that Dudley maintained that unsettling smile the entire time— it cast a disturbing psychological shadow over the young wizards.

Along with the ferocity, there was something eerie about it.

The older Slytherin students, who had originally considered intervening as they saw their younger peers in trouble, fell silent and chose not to cast a single spell after witnessing Dudley's brutal side; they simply shut the dormitory door.

As if to say they hadn't seen a thing.

They didn't want to draw trouble their way, particularly not against such a fierce opponent.

Before long, in the entire Slytherin common room, apart from Dudley himself, not a single person was standing. The young wizards sprawled on the ground groaning, all their wands confiscated by Dudley.

After confirming all except Malfoy were down and powerless, Dudley made an unexpected move. He casually grabbed a young wizard, pressed him against the table, and raised his large hand to give the other a sharp smack on the backside.
