Chereads / Beast and Monster Collision / Chapter 21 - Pearl Teeth Prowess

Chapter 21 - Pearl Teeth Prowess

Every rattling of the building stopped the battle the four powerhouses were doing before they resumed.

The Chimera Treader was in a hot spot because he was afraid of killing more newborns and being hunted down.

Their great fear was that the battle outside began because of what it did but then it sensed a normal beast outside.

They felt like maybe the battle outside had saved him.

That wasn't what scared them but the feeling of danger encroachment. They felt it was inevitable that they would meet the father of the newborn the lion consumed.

And he was here fighting outside and he couldn't escape; the aura alone would squeeze him to a pulp.

While the chimaera worried about the outside, the inside had troublesome pests; the building and everything were trying to harm and injure them.

If not for their insane stamina, they would have fallen by now. But they were being whittled down slowly and surely.

Snap!

The sound of a whip snapping, coming toward them was annoying as Kororoco whip always found its mark, and he was a second away from evolving.

And yes, immediately, Kororoco's body grew by 3 feet and became robust. To avoid what happened to Cororoko, Kororoco jumped back.

Bororobo and Tororoto fiercely attacked the beast.

Even with evolution, they don't think they are a march. All they had to do was prevent Kororoko from dying until the evolution ended.

Rattle!

Crack!

The battle outside was becoming more intense, the crack on the building leaking an aura inside which caused a wave of force that damaged everything on its path.

The moment the building healed, they resumed their battle. Suddenly, the Chimera Treader blurred and darkness covered Tororodo.

Bororobo that was inside the building roared and sent many spikes and pressure from the wall to slow the beast, but the beast was able to manoeuvre around them with ease.

Kororoco wasn't having it as it swung the whip even though it hadn't completely improved.

Tororodo panicked and moved back; the beast was too close, and stabbed forward his spear. Throwing was too weak.

Crack!

Boom!

Close to them, a crack appeared on the wall, and an aura slipped in, which caused a violent force that slammed at them and moved them around like a vortex of air flushing fragile fabric.

Even Kororoco that evolved was blasted back.

Bororobo was the only stable because of his anchor in the building.

The changes the Silent Treaders made came in handy, the flexible body, bones and shock absorbent muscles, save them from being crushed.

When they were sent away together with Tororodo, the chimaera didn't wait and immediately chopped his head off and began to consume the body.

The battle outside seemed to come to a halt, that was the only thing that stopped the building from exploding.

From the outside, one can see many buildings are about to be shattered due to many cracks in them; both the Dominator and the Fathers have to stop. They don't want to break the rules.

10 seconds Earlier

The Dominator wasn't using his full strength but still putting pressure on the fathers.

One has two massive war axes capable of eating through his soft thin fabric.

The other has numerous floating blades that he can control like extensions of himself, finding any path the Dominator wasn't protecting to attack.

The last has chains that serve as a whip and a binder, even after the Dominator breaks them, they reattach themselves.

The Father with chains has another role which comes up while they fight; anytime the Dominator punches sent one of them toward the newborn's building, it acted and pulled them back with chains.

This was what happened now, the Father with the Axe was sent flying. Just passing close to some buildings caused them to crack due to fist force pushing the father back.

The father with the chain sent his chains and wrapped around the hip of the Axe Father and pulled.

The initial trajectory of the Axe Father has no buildings, but at the end, a lone big merged building stood.

Just in time, the Axe Father dispersed the fist force crushing his chest. This allowed the Chain Father to stop the body from directly slamming onto the building.

Though, the slight touch due to remnants of the aura and fist force cracked the building a bit.

The Axe Father was damaged, his chest shattered, his face was bleeding, and he was delirious at the moment.

Only his helmet was pristine.

This wasn't the first time one of the fathers was battered, but given a few seconds, they would spring up back to full power.

The Chimera Treader chopped Tororodo whole, which stabilized their body from the consumption of two Cores.

[You have devoured Tororodo]

That when a danger reached them, extreme danger. And they looked toward the location of danger.

There was a crack and it was showing a helmet head moving, the owner trying to stand but failing.

They knew that was their sworn enemy. One thing came to it, run or fight.

They also knew the moment the father's attention reached them, then they would be dead.

One thing came to them, bite him.

At subsonic speed, which was their fastest speed they reached the cracked, splintered wall, their mouth enlarging and chomped off.

The wall and the whole amoured head of the Axe Father were sliced by the pearl teeth with the ease of a hot knife against butter.

Even the Chimera Treader was surprised by the ease.

The capability of their pearl teeth was beyond their understanding and so they just forced swallowed the armoured head.

The body of the Axe Father just stood there confused.

The Chimera Treader, Bororobo and Kororoco weren't the only ones beyond shocked but also the fighters outside.

The Dominator scratched his head and looked at the Chain Father and the Floating Blade Father and asked,

"What happened to its head?"

His voice hissed and caused their muscles to spasm uncontrollably, but an answer came.

"It was bitten off!" Chain Father said with uncertainty.

One needed to understand that each of them has a helmet, and their most nurtured armour is the helmet, as their head held 80% of their powers and individuality.

Though they won't die by crushing their head, it was a great setback.
