Sharon paced her living room, her phone clutched tightly in her hand. Every second that passed without answers felt like fuel to the fire burning inside her. After a deep breath, she finally gave in and dialed Anabella's number.
The phone rang a few times before Anabella answered, her voice tired and annoyed.
"What do you want, Sharon?"
Anabella asked in a tired voice. It was clear that she had just woken up, and she was not in the mood to entertain the other omega.
Sharon realized this, but she also knew that she could not give up now. Anabella had to know what had happened and why Daniel had betrayed her like this.
"I'm not in the mood for more nonsense."
Sharon's grip on the phone tightened once she heard Anabella's tone. The younger omage sounded on edge and far more snappy than before. It made Sharon not want to talk to her.
And yet, she decided to take this chance and clear out the air between the pair.
