The entrance to the Tokyo Safe Haven was unnervingly quiet, the air heavy with tension as the Nexomorph stood face-to-face with the Arch-Kaiju. The formidable looking creature, equal in height to the Nexomorph, wore dark, tattered hooded clothing. Its hood had been flung back, revealing a humanoid face with glowing red eyes and an expression that danced between hatred and malice.
The Arch-Kaiju took a deliberate step forward, its gaze locking onto the Nexomorph like a predator savoring its prey. "The Variant," it said, its voice unnaturally calm, yet laced with venom. "How poetic that I should find you here, after all these years."
The Nexomorph's orbs glowed ominously, a faint gravitational pulse emanating around it. "You speak as if we've met," it said in a low, cold voice. "But I don't waste time remembering gnats."
