As soon as they got into the bunker, Ashiro, Shikaku, Inoue, and the others rushed up the bunker's metal stairs to where Lady Naga stood, her figure rigid as she stared unblinking at the man with the eyepatch in the distance. The tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a blade.
As they gathered around her, Shikaku, always the blunt one, broke the silence. "Who is that guy? He doesn't seem like the type to take a stroll through Kaiju territory for fun."
Lady Naga remained silent for a moment, her hands gripping the railing tightly. Finally, she exhaled, her voice grim and low. "That man is Kenta Arashiro."
The name hung in the air, heavy and foreboding.
Shikaku raised an eyebrow. "And? He doesn't exactly scream world-ending Kaiju."
Lady Naga turned her head slightly, fixing Shikaku with a sharp, almost incredulous glare. "He's not just anyone, Shikaku. He's the head of Japan's Military Department."
