The two-headed serpent coiled its massive body, the ground trembling beneath its weight. Its glowing blue eyes locked onto the Nexomorph, hunger and malice radiating from its form. With a deafening hiss, it lunged, both heads striking like twin lightning bolts toward their target.
But the Nexomorph didn't move. Instead, it raised one slimy purple hand, its abyssal head tilting slightly in disdain.
Mid-air, the serpent froze. Its jaws, inches away from the Nexomorph, hung suspended, its powerful muscles locked in an invisible grip. The battlefield grew eerily silent, the only sound the faint hum of an unknown force emanating from the Nexomorph.
Kenta's confident grin wavered, his single eye narrowing as he leaned forward in intrigue. "What sort of creature is this?" he muttered, his voice carrying an undercurrent of frantic excitement. His grin returned, wider, more unnerving than before. "Interesting. Very interesting."
