Chereads / My Crush Is A Middle Schooler From A Magical World / Chapter 14 - Pre : The Strongest Human Vs The Strongest Being

Chapter 14 - Pre : The Strongest Human Vs The Strongest Being

The powerful flaps of the great dragons wings shake the forests below him, the strong gusts of winds generated just from simply moving could be comparable to the strongest of cyclones. Great Dragon Everard's injuries from the previous fight had fully healed, but a small piece of him was missing, a piece of his soul, something that the king took from him with his attacks.

Millions of years. This creature had lived for millions of years, and had not once fallen in battle, yet he fled. He flew as fast and far as he could, hoping to gain distance from the small, incomparable human that had chased him from the capital, the one that bore the title, of "the strongest".

Turning his head slightly to glance behind him, Everard's heart dropped, and his eyes flew wide open in surprise. Alcard had followed him closely, keeping up with his speed despite not being able to fly himself. "How? How is he this fast?" Everard thought. But that is all his brain had time to think before he is caught by surprise again, seeing Alcard drive his heels into the ground, and begin to charge up a punch, taking a strong, wide stance.

[Everard]: "A-Ah-... A punch? There's no way he could hit me from down there. Who is this guy?"

Everard's eyes open wider when he sees the air start to crackle and spark as Alcard begins to conjure up an extremely large amount of mana around his fist, covering the area around him.

[Everard]: "GH!"

The deep blue strands of mana that fire off of his fist as he charges up an attack shoot a dark, angry presence through the air, shaking Everard to his core. Alcard reels back his fist, causing the strong aura of mana around it to let off an explosion, arcing off in every direction as it doubles in size.

[Alcard]: "AAAAAAAAAGGHHHHHHHH!"

With a strong scream that vibrates the air, Alcard fires his fist forwards, unleashing a powerful projectile of pure mana spiraling towards the dragon. Everard watches in slow motion as the space tearing projectile hurdles towards him, distorting and stretching the air around it as it flies.

[Everard]: "G-GAAAAAAAGGGHHHH!"

Everard feels completely powerless as he watches the powerful mass make contact with him, hitting his wing directly where it connects to his body, exploding and filling the sky with a dark blue light. A deafening boom along with cracking sounds fill the air as Everard's scales are crushed by the sheer force of the blast, and his giant wing is severed entirely, launching off to the side and causing a large crash as it hits the ground, covering the area in dust and debris.

Unlike when Alcard uses a blade, his unarmed attacks are blunt, and impactful. The crushing blow of his mana empowered fists is almost incomprehensible, but due to the sheer uncontrollable destruction caused by it, he prefers to use a sword when he fights.

The dragon flails around in the sky as he can no longer control his flight. Alcard begins to run again and watches as Everard slowly falls out of the air and hits the ground, the momentum carries him along the forest floor for hundreds of meters, leaving a giant trail of destruction and clouds of dust in his path. The sound of Everard hitting the ground can be heard for miles, comparable to large meteor crashing into the planet.

[Everard]: "Hnnnnn! GRAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHH!"

Alcard finally reaches the now grounded dragon, his eyes filled with rage upon seeing him painfully bringing himself back upright, with a missing wing. The broken appendage had left a large trail of deep crimson blood throughout the forest, and even now, it had not stopped pouring his dark life essence down his white scales as he stared furiously at Alcard.

[Everard]: "Who the hell do you think you are!?"

[Alcard]: "Shut up! Do you really think you can just intrude on our home and take a life without us caring!? Do you have no understanding of consequences!? ARE YOU REALLY THAT HEARTLESS EVERARD!"

[Everard]: "I WONT BE LECTURED BY SOME TEENAGER WHO REFUSES TO RESPECT AUTHORITY! DO YOU REALIZE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO HEAL THIS WING!?"

Alcard grits his teeth, the dragon clearly didn't care about killing someone important to him, in fact, he cared purely about his wing being torn off. Everard's selfishness and lack of regard for his actions caused Alcard to clench his fists even tighter, refusing to speak any more words, and took another wide stance.

This action was met instantly with a giant bolt of lightning that struck him directly, the bolt that was several times his size in width shocked every bone in his body, but still, he remained upright, and quickly regained his footing. He snaps his gaze back up towards the dragon, who was shocked that his attack had such a little effect.

Alcard takes another step, but is met with another attack, one that this time, he dodges. The strong beam of pure thunder burns a line through the forest, causing several fires and turning the grass to ash.

"His lightning... It feels more like a burn. Could this monster have two attunements? Is he combining both lightning and fire?" Alcard thought, flying through the air and landing on the grass nearby. He is given no time to think, Everard spits beam after beam of thunder towards him, the aspect of speed that Alcard was blessed with was the only thing giving him the ability to dodge these swift attacks.

[Alcard]: "HAGH!"

Alcard winces in pain as an arc from the bolt hits his arm, spraying blood into the air and leaving a black burn mark on his forearm. Everard's beams of lightning consisted of two parts. The first, was the main projectile, a large and speedy cylinder of thunder that disintegrated anything that it hit. The second part, was the smaller, but not much weaker arcs of lightning that flew off of the attack, indiscriminately hitting anything and everything that was too close to the main projectile.

The clouds had begun to once again clump together and darken above the area, a side effect of Everard's magic, something that he could also use to produce lightning and shoot attacks from. Everard's magic was on a tier of its own, utilizing not just his own pool of mana, but the atmospheres too, a feat that no other being has been able to perform. It's as if his soul was intertwined with the world itself.

[Everard]: "You're fast for someone so young. It's a shame I'll have to erase such a talented individual from this world. Don't worry child, I will remember you."

Another wave of rage washes over Alcard, his heart clenches with anger and emotion, and he grinds his teeth together as he stares up at the dragon, a beast that defied the laws of nature, a beast that had proven his strength and he hadn't even gone all out yet. The power of an immortal plague became engraved in Alcard's mind, something he would not forget for the rest of his life.

The rage had only served to fuel Alcard's body, strengthening him as he wove between the many projectiles that were flung in his direction. He tries to take another stance and fire an attack at the dragon, but is given no chance to as another bolt of lightning hits him, flinging him away into the forest, rolling on the ground and left winded on the grass.

[Alcard]: "GAAGGH!"

Everard slowly takes a few steps towards him, glaring down at him with his deep red eyes that glow blindingly.

[Everard]: "That's three times now that I've hit you. Your body is tough, I will give you that."

Alcard had never had real fighting experience, his only fights had been sparing matches with his father and Nakada, the only two people that had the guts to take him up on a fight. Both of them were struck down in an instant, and Alcard was forced to hold back as much as he could to not severely injure them. A strong contrast to the situation he now found himself in, lying powerless on the ground, grasping his throat as he regains his breath.

He locked eyes with the great dragon, their souls connecting for a moment as Everard showed a small amount of respect for the boy. The feeling sent through Alcard made him hate the dragon even more. "First.. You take someone close to me away so carelessly... And now... You think you have the right to respect me? I hate you." Alcard thought.

[Everard]: "Are you crying? Do you feel weak? Do you want to live? Boy... Tell me your name. I promise to remember you as one of the strongest I have faced."

Alcard stood up to face the dragon, who had lowered his head to get closer to Alcard. Clutching at his arm and covered in blood and burns, Alcard looked directly into the dragons eyes, and gritted his teeth once more.

[Alcard]: "My name is Alcard Castellan... And I will be the one to rid this world of such a foul creature like you."

The dragon chuckled softly, the deep rumble in his chest resonated through the air. "Kill me? How bold." Everard thought. Everard thought he was scared for nothing earlier, bringing this kid to the ground like this, but he could feel something in the air, he could feel the potential that was hidden within him.

The area fell silent, and once again the air around Alcard began to crackle. Alcard had always been holding back, he had to, and he had grown used to it, subconsciously forcing his body to weaken itself. But now, in this moment, the memories of Gloria had filled his mind, and his body had broken its own seal. Something that made Everard's eyes widen slightly.

[Everard]: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DID I DO SOMETHING? DID I MAKE YOU SNAP ALCARD? COME ON! SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN REALLY DO!"

An explosion. The only word that can be used to describe the sound that had filled the air as deep blue strands of mana stretched from Alcard's body. And in a split second, he disappeared, a level of speed that even caused Everard, the strongest being, to take a sharp intake of air out of disbelief. He turned his head to look at Alcard, that had now appeared next to him, and before he could even lock eyes with the human, he was struck with an immense force.

[Everard]: "AAAGH!"

The impact caused the side of Everard's face to shatter and form cracks all the way down to his neck. His rock-like teeth flew from his mouth in segments, broken from the attack that had suddenly hit him, causing him to be thrown back onto his side.

Quickly regaining his stance, the dragon looked back at Alcard, who reached down at his chipped tooth on the ground, and broke a piece off of it, creating a cracking noise, and causing shards of bone to splinter off.

[Everard]: "What are you..."

Everard watched in disbelief, intently staring down as Alcard now wielded a small piece of his tooth, holding it as if it were a sword. The anger on Alcard's face had not faded, but his body was not tense at all. He was calm, and he had a stronger aura than before. The mana in the air seemed to loyally cling to Alcard, forming strands that stretched from his body without him even needing to control them.

[Everard]: "You've changed."

[Alcard]: "- - -"

Alcard released a strong exhale, blowing a puff of white air from his lungs. His gaze never left Everard, and before the dragon could form another thought, Alcard bent his knees, and launched towards him, causing a large explosion of mana that tore up the ground as it flung him.

Everard was extremely large, but one of his most terrifying feats, was his speed. Despite him being a huge target, he contorts his body at immense speeds, dodging Alcard who swings into the air, followed by a large gust of wind that nearly blows Everard to the ground again.

[Everard]: "Hnn!"

Before Alcard hits the ground, another bolt of lightning is fired at him, one that this time, he swings at with the broken dragon tooth, severing the beam in half, cutting it into two separate bolts that fly past him and hit the trees nearby, causing a large explosion.

[Alcard]: "H-Hmm!?"

Alcard's eyes widen is surprise. Watching the dragon charge up a strong attack with a closed jaw. Alcard could tell by the aura alone, that the attack was different, and this was further emphasized when the bolts of lightning that surrounded Everard's maw turned swiftly into blue flames.

The dragon's jaw formed a small smile, and he threw his head forwards, opening his mouth and releasing the attack. This new display of magic no longer consisted of lightning, instead using Everard's innate attunement, fire. A colossal breath of blue flames flew from Everard's maw, completely shrouding the whole forest in blue embers, lighting up the sky, that was now as black as night due to the dark clouds that had formed above Everard.

Alcard decided to jump, far into the sky avoiding the flames, but as if Everard already knew what he would do, the dragon used his sharp, thick claws to slam into the ground, causing a deafening crash and shooting giant boulders and debris into the sky towards Alcard.

[Alcard]: "HAGH!"

He uses the broken tooth to swing several times at the large chunks of rock that flew towards him. A bright beam of blue light is seen for a moment, followed by a sharp high pitched noise as the boulders are torn apart, allowing Alcard to jump onto one.

The dragon had released his full power, desperate to end the fight, but somehow this human had overcome every attack, and with minimal injuries too. The two locked eyes for a moment as Everard began to hail thunder down from the skies, covering the whole forest in arcs of lightning, causing even more destruction to the already burning landscape.

Smoke filled the air, and the sky was lit up with embers that rose from the trees that had nearly all been turned to ash. What was once a lush green forest, had now been quickly converted to a burning battlefield. Alcard once again launched towards Everard, the deep blue explosion of mana that shot him forwards blew the rock he had clung to into dust.

[Alcard]: "HHHNNNGGGGGAAAAAAAGGHHHH!"

Alcard dodged the rain of thunder and flames that were shot towards him from both Everard's jaws, and the sky. He rose the tooth he wielded as he flew closer to the dragon's second wing. Everard watched helplessly as Alcard pierced his scales once again, running quickly along the dragons wing as he effortlessly dragged the blade through it, spraying blood into the air and creating a heavy ripping noise as the mana tore through his remaining appendage.

Ending with a strong swing and a powerful grunt, Alcard jumped from the dragons body, and his wing flew into the sky, landing nearby with a crash, followed by a deep red rain of blood that spewed from the great dragons body.

[Everard]: "AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Falling back, Everard is struck once again in quick succession by Alcard, this time with a mana empowered kick that sends strands of blue energy through the air, followed by shards of scales as the dragons face shatters and cracks, now missing several teeth and lacking his usual face armor that took the form of white scales.

Alcard lands onto the grass below that was painted red, stained by the blood of the dragon. The broken piece of bone that Alcard wielded was covered in blood, and his own life essence dripped down the blade as it cut into his hand by gripping it so hard, something that didn't even seem to bother him.

[Alcard]: "I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET EVER BEING BORN YOU PATHETIC BEAST!!! TO WIELD SUCH POWER, AND USING IT ONLY TO TORMENT PEOPLE FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS!! I WILL RID THIS WORLD OF ITS FILTH, STARTING WITH YOU!!!"

[Everard]: "GGGRRRHHHH!"

The dragon stared furiously at Alcard, no one had ever injured him this badly before, and to have suffered such extreme wounds from a 15 year old boy, it filled him with pure rage. The great dragon let out a roar that could be heard all the way back at the capital, everyone lifting their heads towards the direction of the noise in fear.

The king had sent Nakada after Alcard, and upon hearing the roar, he froze in his tracks, struck with terror, fearing that Alcard had been killed, but he forced his body to move. "Don't you fucking die on us kid! We can't lose two members of the royal family to this beast!" Nakada murmured to himself.

The combined magic of lightning and fire hailed from the sky, once again lighting up the area, and giving Nakada the exact location of the fight. Alcard could feel the difference between the two magics as he dodged them with immeasurable speeds. He had read before that some commandments could have sub-abilities. Smaller, less powerful effects given to their wielder, caused when a commandment has too much power for its vessel, so it splits into two.

[Alcard]: "I get it now. This lightning is a part of your commandment, and the fire is your attunement... Interesting."

[Everard]: "GGNNN!"

The dragon now began to fight physically too, clashing with the familiar blade that Alcard wielded, causing more shards of scales and bone to fly into the air with every strike. "How is that piece of my tooth still holding together?" Everard thought, his eyes narrowing in confusion as he fights.

Alcard smiles, realizing that another blessing of his had caused such confusion to a wise beast like Everard. Still, the two clashed, and Everard's claws had scraped down to their base as loud hissing noises shutter through the air with every connection to Alcard's blade.

-

[The Aspect Of Swordsmanship]

[A blessing given to Alcard at birth that allows him to wield any object as if it were the strongest blade in existence. No matter how blunt or weak the object is, If wielded by Alcard, it will never be broken, and can cut through... theoretically... Anything.]

-

With one last swing, Everard slams his claws down onto Alcard, which he responds to by slicing his whole hand in half, and jumping onto his arm, which a torrent of blood pours out from.

[Everard]: "GAAAGHH!"

[Alcard]: "HAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Alcard yells as he runs up the dragons arm, swinging wildly below him as he climbs the dragon, slicing his whole arm to pieces, covering the sky and ground below in blood.

[Everard]: "AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH!"

Everard loses balance and falls onto his stomach on the ground, glancing up as Alcard stops when he reaches the middle of his back, standing on his blood stained scales.

Great Dragon Everard. A beast that had claimed the title of "The Strongest Being". The strongest being, brought to the ground, and his eyes filled with terror. Just like when he fled from the capital, he felt fear, but this time, it was far stronger. He locked eyes with Alcard, silently begging for mercy as he looked up at the man, who had raised the piece of bone above his head, holding onto it with two hands.

[Alcard]: "HHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

[Everard]: "GAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Alcard screamed as an immense amount of deep blue energy swirled around his blade, covering it entirely as strands of mana stretched from the tall pillar of blue light that Alcard conjured onto his weapon. Everard's eyes widened. This attack had more energy and strength within it than anything he had ever seen before, the only thing in his mind other than pure terror was the single thought, "Who is this kid?".

With one last scream, Alcard brought the blade down upon the dragon. The forest seemed to fall silent for a split second, and the mana disappeared. But after a tiny moment of peace, a giant explosion erupted from the swing, completely engulfing the forest and more as a giant pillar of blue energy formed above Alcard.

The attack grew larger than the inner capital itself, and could be comparable to that of a modern day atom bomb in size. Giant strands of blue light reached above the clouds, and everything in the area was completely and utterly destroyed.

[Nakada]: "GAAAGH!"

The blue haired man that had reached close enough to see the two in the distance was flung back as a powerful shockwave struck him, the sound alone was loud enough to rupture his eardrums, causing them to bleed. The trees that were not close enough to the main attack were uprooted and blown away by the shockwave, the strongest attack anyone in history has ever seen.

Nakada painfully clutched at his ears as he watched in shock and awe as the blinding explosion started to clear up. As the dust and debris subsided, the area was revealed to Nakada. Where a giant forest used to cover, was a colossal crater, and at the center of it all, was Alcard.

By a sheer miracle, the dragons body had not been fully erased, but Everard had been surely killed. Alcard stood atop his mangled body, out of breath as he drops the blade, clattering on the scales at it lands onto the ground below.

For the first time in history, an immortal plague had fallen. Nakada, who had gotten closer after the explosion subsided, couldn't believe his eyes. He stood frozen at the edge of the crater in disbelief, starring with his mouth open at Alcard, who stood upon the corpse of Great Dragon Everard, The Harbinger Of Death.

[Alcard]: "Hagh!"

Alcard grunts as he jumps down onto the dirt below Everard, looking back up at his lifeless body. Alcard pauses for a moment, his face narrowing in thought. After a painfully long time, he picks up the blood covered shard of bone once again, and swung at the corpse above him, releasing a blue projectile of energy that cut a piece of the dragon off, falling down onto him.

Catching the scaly piece of flesh, Alcard dropped the blade again, and looked at the piece of Everard that he cut off.

[Alcard]: "I-... I wont let a creature like this roam freely ever again. This is my responsibility. Sorry... Gramps."

He raises it above his head, and squeezes it. Dark, deep red blood falls onto Alcard's face as he opens his mouth, covering his whole head in blood as he swallows a large mouthful of the dragon's life essence.

[Alcard]: "G-GGH! GAAAGGHHH!"

The chunk of flesh falls out of his hand and lands onto the ground, creating a squelchy, squishy sound. Alcard clutches at his chest with a powerful grip, leaning forwards, struggling to keep upright as he feels a sharp pain in his chest. "I can feel it! Every cell in my body feels like its dying! Reforming! Is this it!? No one told me it was this painful to Inherit one!" Alcard thought.

He covers his mouth with his other hand, trying to keep as much blood as he can from falling out as he is brought to his knees. But quickly, the pain stops, and instead a powerful rejuvenating feeling washes over him. His eyes widen, and he stands up straight, taking in a deep breath, feeling the mana inside his body distort and fuse to him as every blood cell in his body shifts and changes.

-

[Commandment Inheritance]

[Aside from being born with one, there exists a second method of obtaining a commandment. This method is referred to as "Inheritance", and involves drinking the blood of a slain individual. There are two conditions that must be met to perform 'Inheritance'. One, the wielder of a commandment must be dead. And two, you must fully swallow at least a drop of their blood. Upon completing these two conditions, the receiving individual will be granted the commandment. Only one commandment can exist within a vessel, so if an individual already has a commandment, and performs 'Inheritance', their old ability will be replaced, and all lasting effects of it, will disappear along with it.]

-

[Alcard]: "I... I feel great."

He smiles as he watches the blood on his hands dry up and crack. He hears the body of Everard start to move, and he jumps back in surprise, taking a ready stance, but his eyes widen in shock, watching as Great Dragon Everard's body rapidly starts to decompose, and fall to ash in a matter of seconds.

[Alcard]: "H-hah? Oh, right. I guess since he no longer has immortality, his age must have caught up with him."

[Nakada]: "ALCARD! ARE YOU OKAY!?"

He heard Nakada call out to him from the edge of the crater, and turns around with a smile on his face, one that quickly fades. Alcard takes a sharp intake of breath as his face drops, seeing an unfamiliar figure in front of him.

Standing before Alcard, was a man who wore an extremely angry face. He looked old, he had a white beard, long white hair that was large and thick, and he wore white robes. But his most distinct features were the scales and fur that covered parts of his body, and the long dragon-like tail that protruded from the robes, lined with small grey spikes along the ridge of it.

[Alcard]: "W-who..."

The man frowned angrily, his red eyes shot sharp daggers into Alcard's soul and he clenched his fists.

"Is this some kind of fucking joke? Did you do this to mock me? HUH!?"

[Alcard]: "Hah! I-... Who are you!?"

"YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHO I AM!"

The mans voice was course and rough, and he had a furious tone in his words. Looking the man up and down, Alcard's eyes slowly widened.

[Alcard]: "Ev-... Everard."

Before thinking any further, Alcard gritted his teeth, and lunged forwards to throw a punch at the man, creating a giant explosion of mana that shook the ground and kicked up another wave of dust and debris, knocking Nakada to the ground.

[Nakada]: "WHAGGHH!"

As the dust cleared, Alcard's eyes shot open again, and his jaw dropped as he looked ahead. His face was a foot away Everard's, and Alcard's fist seemed to have gone straight through his body, as if it were intangible.

[Alcard]: "What?"

Pulling his arm away, Alcard reels his fist back and conjures more mana to swirl around it, causing a small explosion as it generates, but before he could throw it, he feels a hand grab his wrist.

[Alcard]: "HN!?"

Looking to his side, he sees the familiar blue haired man holding his wrist with a worried face. "Why isn't he scared? What are you doing? The enemy is right there." Alcard thought, looking ahead to lock eyes with Everard, who has crossed his arms angrily.

[Nakada]: "CALM DOWN ALCARD! YOU DID IT! HE'S ALREADY DEAD!"

[Alcard]: "What? He's standing right there! He's not dead yet!"

Nakada stares at him with a concerned face, still holding onto Alcard's wrist as both of their hair blows wildly from the wind caused by the blue energy.

[Nakada]: "Did you hit your head or something!? Please calm down! I'm sure Camilla can fix you."

"Can he not see him? Wait..... Is this?..... Is this because I performed inheritance? That's gotta be it. That means.. If I can't hurt him, he can't hurt me either." Alcard thought.

-

[Soul Merging]

[A guaranteed side effect of performing 'Inheritance' is a strange phenomena called "Soul Merging". This effect causes the previous commandment wielders soul to merge with the new wielders, essentially allowing an individual to see and hear all previous users of the commandment. Most of the time, this side effect is seen as a severe downside, as the individual has no control over the past wielders, their mind serving as a prison for all previous consciousnesses. Due to the lack of control over the previous users, and the fact that no one else can see or interact with them, this side effect has been enough to send people mad, haunted by, in the worst recorded case, up to 23 different minds.]

-

The mana slowly dies out, retracting from Alcard's body, and he lowers his fist. Nakada lets out a sigh of relief and lets go of Alcard.

[Nakada]: "Haaah. Thank god. Are you back with us?"

[Alcard]: "Y-... Yeah..."

Alcard responds with uncertainty, still looking forwards at Everard, who hasn't stopped staring at him with pure rage in his eyes, knowing that he is now forced to eternally live in Alcard's mind instead of just being allowed to die.

[Nakada]: "That's a relief, I was scared you were gonna take me out with another swing like that again, hahaha. Still, I almost can't believe it... You killed one. An immortal plague."

[Alcard]: "Yeah... Right..."

[Nakada]: "You sure you're okay? I'll definitely have Camilla check you out when we get back, she was terrified when you went after Everard, everyone probably thinks your dead by now."

Alcard snaps back to reality at the mention of Camilla, slowly turning his head to face Nakada. A small smile appears on his face as he hears that Camilla is okay.

[Alcard]: "Right... Lets go then."

[Nakada]: "Mmh."

Nakada hums affirmatively, and starts walk off in the direction of the capital. He places his hands within the pockets of his loose, white robes, and looks back at Alcard.

[Nakada]: "You comin'?"

[Alcard]: "Yeah, coming."

Alcard starts to walk off, following Nakada until he hears the familiar voice start to shout at him.

[Everard]: "HEY! WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING!? GET BACK HERE!"

Alcard turns his head to face Everard, while continuing to walk. Without saying anything, Alcard smiles and squints his eyes, shooting Everard a face as if to say, 'What are you gonna do about it?'. This causes Everard to gasp, and get even angrier.

[Everard]: "GH! HEY! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS! GET BACK HEREEEEE! ALCARD! ALCAAAAAAAARRD!!!"

Turning his head back towards Nakada as he continues to walk off, Alcard continues to smile, something that Nakada notices while glancing back at him, something that makes him really question if he is even still sane after a fight like that. But seeing the immense destruction and power that the two shared, Nakada couldn't help but feel jealous that he didn't get there sooner to be involved in the fight.

As the two walk off together away from the crater, the sun begins to set, shrouding the land in a warm, pink hue that bathes the kingdom as it goes into mourning, suffering the loss of its queen. The large dent in the landscape would come to be known as the official resting place of Great Dragon Everard, a legend come true. For most, his existence ended there, finally meeting his end in battle with Alcard Castellan, The worlds strongest. But for very few, those closest to Alcard, are aware of the fact that he still lives on, held captive in Alcard's mind. And Everard, for many years to come, continues to insult and spitefully annoy him until he runs out of things to say, eventually forced to journey with Alcard, reluctantly staying by his side. If anything, Alcard's life was interesting enough to make up for the imprisonment, almost like his own personal theater show, he imagined.

The two were now fused, whether they wanted to be or not...
