Chapter 22 - An Argument

Zoya was calling me as soon as I left her apartment and if I was being honest, I was over talking about Ivan and arguing over whether he was the saint and I was the liar.

 I was honestly so tired of Zoya and her obsession with him. 

Until she got over her little phase with him, I wasn't going to see her again. It was monotonous arguing over the same man and talking about the same thing whenever we met. 

Call me selfish but for a change, I wanted things to be about me. 

I wanted to be able to talk to my best friend about the man I was seeing without walking on eggshells, hoping she wouldn't bring up a guy from the past that we had both previously agreed was bad news. 

I still loved her though. However, I wouldn't sit and watch her get her heart broken over and over again. 

I was so focused on my anger that I forgot to look at my surroundings. Only when we stopped at a restaurant did I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
