Happy Halloween. You've heard that phrase more than you can count I presume. But in a different world full with magic and monsters, this phrase is the last thing you would want to hear.
It all started in another world, Xynea, a world full with fantasies though it contrasts from joy and horror. There is 4 parts of this world whereas we have 7 continents they have 4 kingdoms.
The North is the Kingdom of elves. Yes elves the fantasy creatures that have long pointy ears and are portrayed to normally be archers.
The East is the Kingdom of the Dwarves. Though rather short in comparison, brilliant blacksmiths they are.
The North are the Kingdom of humans. Normal humans but with a gift. Yes every single human has a special attribute. Kind of like superpowers. Though their physical appearance looks normal their power is not to be tempered with.
And finally the South, the Kingdom of demons. All types of intellectual creatures of evil. But you mustn't dare to call them monsters.
Monsters are dull and appear from dungeons and all kingdoms have 1 dungeon each.
Though you might think otherwise they all believe in 3 events. Christmas, New Years and Halloween.
This world do not believe in religion but believe in worshipping a single God. Zeus, Hermes, Poseidon etc. But let's get into the story.
This world though many believe would be full of peace and harmony, it was quite the opposite. Everybody was cruel and selfish. There was a little boy, his name was Hitoka Suya, abandoned at a young age by his biological parents. He had to go to an orphanage, still no one treated him like a human. They treated him like a tool.
Anything they wanted they would tell Hitoka to do no matter what it was. Get food, get water, even robbery or murder. Hitokajust wanted to fit in. One day in the orphanage, he got told by a cruel receptionist that he was getting adopted. Though she had a smile in her face he could tell that she wasn't happy for him but was happy that he was leaving.
He did feel happy regardless as he would finally get adopted after 3 years. Hitoka was now 10 years old but no one cared to celebrate his birthday once. There was only one person in the orphanage that cared about him was another girl. Though she had been there most of her life she liked Hitoka the most and they even made plans on getting married as kids.
When the day came that Hitoka was leaving the orphanage with his new family, Himori(the girl)was no where to be seen. Hitoka was a biy upset but he though he made her angry. In all honesty, she was upset that her one love had left her. She was in her room crying for the whole night.
"Hi mom and dad, I'm Hitoka". He seemed happy which was quite the contrast of he used to. He had been adopted by elves, though they looked pretty young they were over 100. "Don't you call us that ever again you understand me you little runt!" His mom replied.
Hitoka was shocked and stayed quiet though he was still grateful. Then the guy whispered something to the female. "Why do we have him again?" The lady answered "It's so we can get some extra insurance. Imaging how many people will come to our aid when they realise we've adopted some abandoned brat.
"The guy smiled. "You don't think we should handle the merchandise with care?" He asked. "No we'll sell him off to the slave master eventually for some extra money. We'll say he ran away because he was nervous or some BS." She answered.
Though Hitoka had stayed quiet in the conversation, he heard every single detail to it. He looked up into the sky and wondered ehat he would do next.
