In his arms sat Tayo, her tiny form nestling against his chest.
Her delicate frame contrasted with Adam's dark outfit—an entirely black ensemble, paired with his signature mask, which gave him an imposing and enigmatic presence.
Adam placed Tayo gently onto the bed, brushing a few strands of hair away from her sleeping face.
With a sigh, he removed his mask and black attire, carefully storing them in the wardrobe. The room, bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, felt momentarily peaceful.
Descending the staircase, Adam was greeted by the aroma of spices wafting from the kitchen.
