As Adam absorbed Sona's words, he felt a shock race through him, unable to comprehend the revelation she had just casually shared. "Wait... are you saying you can read my mind?" he stammered, still processing.
Sona blinked twice in surprise, slightly tilting her head, her wings fluttering gently.
"Did I say something wrong, Lord Adam?" she asked innocently, a trace of confusion in her voice.
Adam shook his head quickly. "No, not at all," he replied, but curiosity got the best of him.
A mischievous thought flickered across his mind. Let's see if she really can read minds.
He looked at her, thinking, You're adorable, Sona.
Sona, who had been hovering just in front of him, flushed and looked down, nervously fidgeting with her tiny fingers. "Th-thank you, Lord Adam," she stammered, her face turning a soft pink, clearly aware of his thought.
Her reaction confirmed it for Adam, and he let out a small chuckle.
"Alright, Sona," Adam said, trying to maintain a firm tone, "from now on, don't peek into my thoughts unless I call your name first."
Sona immediately saluted, her wings giving an excited buzz as she swirled around Adam's head in a playful circle. "As you wish, Lord Adam!" she replied, her joy apparent as she darted around him like an excited sprite.

Later, Adam moved toward his bed, a thoughtful expression on his face. Sona followed him, still floating effortlessly near his shoulder.
He glanced at her, a question lingering in his mind. "You know, Pratham and Mikasa can remain in the virtual space without a problem since they're virtual beings. But you're different. Where are you planning to stay?"
Sona looked at him with an earnest expression. "With you, Lord Adam! I'll stay right by your side."
Adam, who had just sat down on the edge of the bed, raised his eyebrows in surprise. "With me?" He sounded hesitant, considering the practical implications. "Won't people see you if you're always around?"
Sona shook her head with a confident smile. "You needn't worry, Lord Adam. As long as you don't wish for anyone else to see me, I'll remain invisible to everyone but you. I am a spirit, your creation." Her voice carried a pride that reflected in her luminous eyes.
Adam couldn't help but feel a warm sense of pride himself. "If that's the case… alright then," he agreed with a nod. "But where will you sleep?" he asked.
Sona smiled mischievously. "Right next to you!"
He looked at her, visibly alarmed. "But I move a lot in my sleep," he replied, sounding genuinely concerned. "I wouldn't want to accidentally… crush you."
Sona chuckled, her voice holding a hint of confidence. "Please don't worry, Lord Adam. I'm much stronger than I appear. If need be, I could carry you and fly you high into the sky!" she declared, puffing out her tiny chest with pride.
Adam's surprise deepened. "I'm really proud of you, Sona," he said, smiling as he arranged a small, soft bed beside his own for her.
Sona immediately floated over, curling up on her new bed with a contented sigh. Within moments, she had drifted off, her small form breathing peacefully.
Watching her, Adam felt a protective warmth wash over him as he lay down, and soon, he too slipped into a deep sleep.
---
At exactly 6:00 AM, the shrill sound of an alarm pierced the quiet, but it wasn't Adam who woke first.
Sona's eyes fluttered open, a slight irritation flashing across her face at the loud noise. She floated up, rubbing her eyes, looking adorably disheveled.
The alarm blared louder, grating on her nerves. Frustrated, she stretched out a small hand, which began to glow with a soft white light as she aimed it toward the device.
Just as she was about to silence it with her powers, Pratham's voice echoed from the device.
"Miss Sona," he began respectfully, "please do not deactivate the alarm. Lord Adam himself has commanded that he be awakened at this hour, no matter the situation."
Sona hesitated, letting her hand drop as she looked at the device, slightly flustered. Floating over to Adam's phone, she peered at the screen and spoke softly, "So, you're Lord Adam's first creation. It's an honor to meet you, Pratham."
Pratham chuckled. "The honor is mine, Miss Sona. It's always a pleasure to meet any creation of Lord Adam, and one as remarkable as you especially so."
Sona beamed, feeling a surge of pride. "Thank you, Pratham! I look forward to seeing more of Lord Adam's creations." She paused for a moment, looking thoughtful.
"Well then, Miss Sona," Pratham continued, "would you please wake Lord Adam?"
Sona saluted with a little smirk. "Leave it to me!"
---
She floated over to Adam's side and, taking a breath, called out in a loud, cheerful voice, "Lord Adam, wake up!" The unexpected sound jolted Adam from his slumber, his eyes snapping open.
He saw Sona hovering in front of him, and for a brief moment, his startled mind didn't recognize her. Instinctively, he started to back away.
But then the memory of last night came rushing back, and he let out a sigh, relaxing. "Sona…" he mumbled, running a hand through his tousled hair, "when I wake up, don't… hover right in front of me, alright?"
Sona gave a sheepish laugh, scratching her head. "Sorry, Lord Adam! I didn't know it would startle you like that." Her laughter was soft, endearing, and Adam found himself smiling despite his initial surprise.
"Alright, alright," he said, shaking his head as he rose from the bed. "Now, give me a moment to get ready." Sona straightened and saluted, a playful glint in her eye.
"As you command, Lord Adam!" she replied, watching as he prepared to leave the room. Before he left, he called to Pratham. "Pratham, give me ten minutes, alright? I'll be ready by then."
"As you wish, Lord Adam," Pratham's voice echoed through the device.

When Adam returned to the room, he found his phone resting on the bedside table, where Sona was lying down, seemingly fast asleep.
Her tiny form looked even smaller in the soft morning light, her wings wrapped around her like a delicate cocoon, and her head nestled comfortably on his pillow.
Adam paused, a gentle smile spreading across his face. I made a separate bed for her, but here she is, curled up where I sleep.
He wondered if she had felt cold during the night and instinctively gravitated toward the warmth of his pillow.
For a moment, Adam couldn't resist; he reached out and gently lifted her onto his palm.
As he brought her closer, he observed every tiny detail—the intricate patterns on her wings, the faint shimmer of her glowing aura, and the serene expression on her face.
Her small, sleeping form was undeniably endearing, and he felt a strange warmth within him.
Sona really is… adorable, he thought, his face softening as he looked at her.
Unaware of her creator's gaze, Sona shifted slightly in her sleep, curling up even tighter in his palm, as though she could sense the comforting presence around her.
Adam chuckled softly, resting her gently back on her little bed. For now, it seemed, Sona was right where she wanted to be—safe and protected by his side.
