Their weaknesses were plenty abundant to Kai. Fern was a tall and strong man, but he was very clumsy. Even just walking over to his new group he tripped on his feet. Okizo was nearly the opposite– though he was rather small and lanky, at least he had a good balance.
Kai wondered what they'd think his weaknesses were. He had quite a few even if he had learned how to minimize their effects. On the outside, it probably appeared to them that he had no weakness. After all, a sensitive nose wasn't as out in the open as imbalanced feet or a lack of apparent strength.
Fern was the first of the two who took a step forward and introduced himself to Kai. "Hey, I'm Fern. My friend over there is Okizo. Uh..."
His voice trailed off a little as he looked to Okizo as if seeking support. Then Okizo spoke up for him, "You were in the first challenge. Did- did you see Ryo when he died? T- the dwarf I mean."
