Ördögház
Soren led Kraven and the two other vampires towards the door, keeping his gun aimed in the darkness, firing every time the blue light flashed.
In the darkness, Lucian just looked at them, a smirk playing on his lips. Then, Raizo's voice appeared in his earpiece.
[It's time, do you need me to support you?] Raizo asked, his voice filled with concern. He had finished his mission and was ready to support Lucian, knowing that there were too many enemies inside Ördögház.
"No need, it will just become harder to escape if you come," Lucian said, his smirk widening.
The vampire who pulled the door open screamed in pain as the sunlight shined towards him. His hands started to burn to ash, the flesh crisping and blackening as if touched by a searing flame. Kraven saw this, his own heart lurching in his chest. He knew what it meant. He hurriedly pulled the vampire back with one hand, before slamming the door shut.
Kraven turned around, his eyes widening in horror as he saw Lucian walking out of the darkness, facing them.
'He wants to kill us all here,' Kraven thought, his blood turning to ice. The realization struck him hard, he figured out why the masked man attacked them alone. 'Sunrise,' he thought, the sunlight makes them unable to leave. They were trapped, and his instincts screamed that this was just the beginning.
Soren didn't stop shooting towards Lucian, his gun firing a steady stream of bullets. But Lucian simply moved, a phantom in the dimly lit room, dodging each bullet with the grace of a dancer. He'd take a step to the right, then a step to the left, a fluid, almost effortless movement that rendered the bullets harmless. The way he moved was mesmerizing, a stark contrast to the frantic firing of Soren's gun.
Kraven became increasingly frightened, seeing the masked man getting closer and closer to them. He shouted towards his men, "Follow me now!" He then started running in another direction. Soren continued firing as they followed Kraven towards another room. While some vampires followed them.
Lucian just looked at them, his gaze cold and calculating. He wasn't even intending to kill them. He needed someone to lead him towards the elder chamber. He knew it was the lowest part of Ördögház, but he didn't know where, and the layout felt different.
He couldn't afford to waste time searching.
Lucian didn't want to take risks because the possibility of the elder chamber was different in his memories and he didn't have time to look for it himself after all he needed to finish his attack as fast as possible.
Lucian, lost in deep thought, was suddenly struck on the shoulder by a bullet. He turned towards Selene, who was firing at him, and frowned. Selene saw the masked man looking at her, but she didn't stop. She kept shooting, her face a mask of grim determination as she held Kraven's arm.
Lucian didn't care. The silver bullet, which had lodged in his shoulder, dropped to the floor as his body regenerated with astonishing speed. He caught the bullet before it hit the ground, a gesture of disdain. He didn't dare risk anyone getting his blood. He vanished from the vampire's sight, appearing next to another vampire, his energy blade flashing. It sliced through the vampire's chest, leaving a gaping wound.
Lucian dodged more incoming bullets as he turned towards the remaining vampires in the foyer.
"Let's end this," he whispered, his voice a cold, deadly whisper. He took a pistol from his waist, and fired. Each shot was precise, hitting its mark with deadly accuracy. The vampires fell, one by one, each shot ending their lives. It only took one UV bullet to kill a vampire. When the last vampire was hit in the chest, Lucian heard Selene shout.
"Kahn!" Selene shouted in anger, looking towards the vampire who had just died. She turned toward Lucian as she was about to fire, but a bullet flew past, grazing her cheek. The UV bullet scorched her cheek as it punctured the wooden wall behind her.
"This is the last time, next time I'll kill you," Lucian said to Selene, before melting into the shadows after Kraven. 'Well, I tried,' he mused, addressing Cortana internally. He exerted considerable self-control, resisting the urge to end Selene then and there. But her continued interference was unacceptable.
Cortana's reply was devoid of judgment, a quiet acknowledgment of the brutal pragmatism driving Lucian,
"I understand. She's a threat to your objective. Eliminating that threat, however unpleasant, is a logical step." Cortana was already satisfied with how Lucian controlled himself so she didn't care if Selene died because Lucian's goal was more important.
Selene gazed at the spot where Lucian had vanished, her fingers instinctively brushing against her waist to secure her gun. The sting from the wound on her cheek throbbed, but her mind was elsewhere. 'Who was the masked man?' The question echoed relentlessly in her thoughts as she scanned the foyer, her eyes landing on the dismembered remains of a vampire strewn across the floor.
A chilling realization began to form. The sight reminded her of someone, a human boy with an uncanny strength, capable of dispatching both Lycans and vampires alike. The gruesome scene in the foyer, combined with memories of the hotel corridor and the chaos in the streets of Seoul, solidified her growing suspicion.
She yearned for confirmation, but knew there were more pressing matters at hand. With determination, she raised Kraven's arm on her hand, feeling her fangs grow in anticipation. She bit into its flesh, the familiar taste of a blood awakening her senses as she closed her eyes, steeling herself for what lay ahead.
A cascade of fragmented images flooded Selene's mind, glimpses into Kraven's memories. Vague scenes flickered a blur of faces, places, and events before a sharper image solidified, Kraven escorted Viktor toward her home. The vision vanished as quickly as it appeared, replaced by other disjointed fragments, Kraven and Lucian, locked in a grim alliance.
Selene's eyes flew open, confusion and disbelief etched across her face. The idea of Kraven allying with a Lycan was almost unfathomable, and the implications surrounding Viktor left her reeling.
How could she trust anything now. 'If what the masked man said is true, what should I do?' Troubled thoughts raced through her mind as she let out a heavy sigh.
But beneath the turmoil, a spark of determination ignited within her. She couldn't afford to dwell on uncertainty any longer. With renewed purpose, she set her sights on the direction of the elder chamber, her steps quickening as she moved forward, ready to confront the truth that awaited her.

Beneath the Ördögház: Corridor
Kraven led the other vampires in a corridor toward the elder chamber, the heavy doors sliding open automatically at his approach to reveal a vast, small room with a huge steel gate and In front of it was an office of one death dealer guarding the elder chamber. The air was thick with anticipation as he glanced to the side, spotting the Death Dealers encased in a glass enclosure, vigilantly monitoring the situation both inside and outside the chamber.
"Open it," Kraven commanded, his voice sharp and urgent. He fixed his gaze on the Death Dealer stationed by the chamber door.
The death dealer didn't open the steel gate as he looked at Kraven and the vampires who got in already knowing their goal.
"it's not time for the elders to wake up," as the one guarding the elder chamber he knows that only an elder can awaken another elder in the right time as per their agreement.
"Do you think we have that time to consider?!" Kraven shouted while glaring at the guarding vampire.
"We will die here without them, now open the fucking door!" Kraven was furious while hurried, he knows the mask man was coming after them and they are stuck here.
The vampire frowned as he thought of the explosions and the quaking of the building he felt made him shake his head as he pressed a button in front of him.

Beneath the Ördögház: Elder Chamber
As the steel gate creaked open, Kraven hurried inside, acutely aware that time was slipping away and he needed to act swiftly before the masked man arrived. His eyes fell to the floor, where the initials A, V, and M were etched, marking the resting places of the elders who lay in hibernation beneath.
"Open it, wake them up," Kraven ordered the vampires who had followed him. Soren moved toward the sign marked with a 'V,' but Kraven halted him with a sharp gesture.
"Soren, stop. You and you open it, both," he instructed, gesturing to another vampire and the vampire who had narrowly escaped the sunlight. His voice was low, urgent, and his gaze was fixed on Soren.
Soren frowned but complied, stepping back to join Kraven as the two designated vampires approached the signs on the floor. They knelt before the markings and activated a mechanism that triggered the elders' coffins to rise.
Kraven's eyes, however, never left Soren. He was watching, waiting, his expression a mixture of anticipation and grim determination.
A glint of understanding flashed in Soren's eyes. He knew what Kraven was thinking, what he was about to do. In a split second, Soren drew his gun and shot the two vampires in the head, their bodies collapsing onto the elder coffins, blood pooling over the surface.
The other vampires gasped, shocked by the sudden violence. But Soren didn't flinch. He stood there, his expression hard and unreadable, as if he had done nothing more than swat a fly.
Kraven, for his part, didn't react. He merely nodded, a silent acknowledgment of Soren's actions. He knew that Soren understood. They both understood that they were in a race against time, and every second counted. They were in no position to wait for the elders to wake up.
"What the hell are you doing?!" one of the nearby vampires exclaimed, his voice a strangled gasp, his eyes wide with disbelief as he darted his gaze between Kraven and Soren. He stumbled back, his hands instinctively reaching out towards his gun aiming towards them both. The rest of the vampires, caught off guard and uncertain of the situation, followed suit, their fingers hovering over their triggers, a collective wave of tension rippling through the chamber.
"We don't have time to wait for them to wake up," Kraven replied, his tone cold and calculating, his gaze sweeping across the surrounding vampires.
"They'll just be distractions, especially since the masked man is looking for them." He turned and strode toward the exit, indifferent to the potential consequences of his actions. 'It's best if the three of them die together,' he thought, a cold satisfaction curling in his chest.
Kraven had always wanted to consolidate his power over the vampires, but the elders had always been a roadblock, an inconvenient obstacle. That's why he got an alliance with the Lycans but this attack, however, was an opportunity to eliminate the elders without attracting unwanted attention.
He could then gather the vampires under his command, leading them against the masked man. 'Two birds with one stone,' Kraven thought, a smug scoff escaping his lips as he hurried out of the chamber. He didn't care about the guns aimed at him after all the masked man was already coming towards them. He had to survive first to lead.
Soren followed closely behind, his face a mask of grim determination, while the remaining vampires exchanged worried glances.
They hesitated for a moment, their fingers still hovering over their triggers, before putting their guns down and deciding to follow Kraven. They had witnessed the masked man's deadly prowess firsthand and knew better than to gamble their lives on the uncertain revival of the elders.

Beneath the Ördögház: Corridor
Kraven emerged from the elder chamber, his eyes snapping toward the corridor as the lights flickered ominously, one by one dimming into darkness. To him, it was a harbinger of death. Panic surged through him as he sprinted alongside the other vampires toward the elevator shaft at the corridor's end. He pressed the elevator buttons frantically, but the panel remained unresponsive.
"Come on, come on!" Kraven muttered under his breath, his heart racing. He glanced back, watching the lights extinguish one after another, the encroaching darkness creeping closer.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" he cursed, his fingers hammering the buttons in a desperate rhythm.
In a fit of frustration, Kraven turned and attempted to pry open the elevator doors, but even with his vampire strength with only one hand it was a struggle. He could feel the weight of his urgency crushing him as he turned to see the other vampires beside him, fear etched on their faces as they cowered in the growing shadows.
"Don't just stand there! Help me!" Kraven shouted, his voice a mix of anger and desperation. The other vampires snapped into action, their fear momentarily forgotten as they rushed to assist him.
Meanwhile, Soren stood vigilant, his guns raised, scanning the darkness as the last of the lights flickered out.
With a final, collective effort, the vampires pried the elevator door open. A wave of relief washed over Kraven, but it was short-lived. As he turned back, his breath caught in his throat, the silhouette of a man loomed in the dark, a chilling presence that sent adrenaline coursing through his veins. Without a second thought, Kraven leaped into the elevator shaft, closely followed by the others, one by one, as the last vestiges of light vanished.
Soren fired a shot into the darkness, the muzzle flashed a fleeting beacon of defiance before he jumped down the elevator shaft as well. The lights of the corridor all turned off, and a thick, suffocating blackness spread inside. Only darkness remained in the corridor before a pair of light foot steps can be heard.

Beneath the Ördögház: Elder Chamber
Inside the elder coffins, a crimson tide began to seep in, the blood of the fallen vampires trickling down the edges, pooling in the cracks, and ultimately finding its way into the mouths of Viktor and Marcus. It was an unsettling, almost unholy communion, baptism by blood.
A jolt of recognition surged through them, a visceral wave of memory crashing over their consciousness. Vivid, haunting images flickered like shadows in their minds, the masked man with his cold, deadly gaze, the excruciating agony of scorched flesh under the burning sun, and the gut-wrenching betrayal they had felt at Kraven's hands.
The memories were not mere echoes of the past, they were visceral relivings of their own demise, fragments of a shared nightmare that threatened to engulf them.
Then, with a simultaneous shudder, both elders opened their eyes, their gaze slicing through the enveloping darkness like a blade. They had awakened to a world fraught with peril, a world irrevocably altered in their absence. The air was thick with tension, and a sense of foreboding hung heavy, as if the very fabric of reality had shifted in their slumber.
