Then, an unknown woman suddenly burst into the room as if the situation had not been complicated enough. The stranger appeared to hear more than she should.
"Sister?" The woman seemed to know more than she should as her eyes focused on his father.
How the woman looked at the older man conveyed a feeling of familiarity. Of course, he thought that would be outrageous. Still, he could not help but wonder if this woman had any connection to his father.
But he doubted if he had seen her before. Her face did not look familiar. He believed she did not belong in their usual social circle.
