I keep getting asked the same questions like "Why did you take down all your works?", "Isn't it a shame to delete all worlds?" or "What happened to you and your works?"
The simple answer is: I took them all down for the following reason:
A lot of my works have been plagiarised and stolen from public platforms like WebNovel and other sites which I shall refrain from naming here. The authors got around the legal loopholes by making minor changes to the settings. however in the past, i could continue writing while enjoying doing so probably because they could not replicate the language or the tone I used to use.
However with the increased availability and use of AI and other GPT programs, that is no longer the case, and i needed time to rethink about how i wanted to handle this situation.
I have always enjoyed writing and creating worlds, and maybe that contributes to my dislike of such websites, ofcourse adding to the recent incidents to the list, my disdain has continued to grow.
And thus i have decided to renew it all. I am letting go of my past works and will try to create new worlds that readers enjoy. This time i wont be expecting many readers. I will be more than happy to write for the one reader who continued supporting me.
Also to all the plagiarists out there, its too late to make the call of shame, but i do hope that by some miracles you are gifted some common sense and humility this Christmas. As coal would be too warm a gift.
