Chapter 3 - Childhood Friends Part : 1 : I am In Love With You

Since their earliest days, Mina and Akari had been inseparable. They shared countless moments that wove their lives together in ways only childhood friends could understand. They played together, explored the world hand-in-hand, and even took baths side by side. Their bond was natural, simple, and pure, the kind that felt as unbreakable as it was effortless.

One warm summer afternoon, the two friends found themselves together as usual. Akari was deeply absorbed in a novel, his eyes scanning each line with the intense focus only a young reader could muster. The story had captured his attention entirely, drawing him into a world of mystery and wonder. Meanwhile, Mina sat nearby, cross-legged on the floor with her collection of crayons scattered around her. She was content in her own little world, creating colorful drawings on a piece of paper, her fingers stained with various hues.

At this time, Akari and Mina were both only ten years old, but there was a quiet maturity in the way they spent time together. Comfortable silences and shared glances spoke volumes that words often couldn't convey. They understood each other instinctively, the way some friends do.

As he read, Akari stumbled upon a passage in his book that made his cheeks flush slightly. It was a scene unlike any he'd encountered before—a kissing scene. The words sparked a strange curiosity in him, a new and unfamiliar feeling that he couldn't quite understand. After a moment of hesitation, he glanced over at Mina, who was happily absorbed in her drawing.

"Mina," he called out, his voice softer than usual, yet laced with an awkward intensity. She looked up, surprised by the sudden shift in his tone, and their eyes met.

"Have you ever... kissed anyone before?" Akari's face turned a shade deeper, his awkwardness visible as he struggled to keep his voice steady. He felt both brave and foolish for asking, a mixture of embarrassment and curiosity swirling in his mind.

The question took Mina by surprise. Her eyes widened, her hands froze, and her cheeks flushed a deep red. She glanced up at him, her brows knitting together in bewilderment, before she quickly shook her head, trying to compose herself.

"No!" she blurted, her voice a mix of embarrassment and confusion. "Of course not, Akari! Why would I...?"

Akari shifted uncomfortably, but he felt a pull to ask more. His curiosity was stronger than his nerves. "I just... I was reading this story, and there was this... scene. It made me wonder, that's all," he mumbled, his gaze dropping to the cover of his book as he tapped it absentmindedly. "Do you think... maybe we could try it? Just to know what it's like?"

Mina's face turned an even deeper shade of pink, and her mouth opened slightly in surprise. She felt her heart skip a beat as she processed what he was saying. She turned her gaze away, her mind racing, her heart thumping in her chest, and she fidgeted with the edge of her drawing paper, clearly flustered.

"Um..." she hesitated, then paused, feeling butterflies in her stomach. She stole a quick glance at him, catching the nervous look on his face, and that somehow made her feel a little braver. After a moment's hesitation, she finally nodded, cheeks still flaming. "Okay... but just once. Just... to know."

They both leaned in slowly, the air between them charged with an awkward but exciting tension. Mina's heart felt like it might burst as their faces grew closer. She glanced into Akari's eyes, and he looked back, equally nervous and uncertain. When their noses brushed lightly, she closed her eyes, feeling a strange thrill mixed with shyness.

Finally, their lips met in a soft, innocent kiss. It was clumsy and brief, but there was a sweetness in the moment, like they were both discovering something secret. Mina's cheeks burned, and her fingers clutched her crayon so tightly it nearly broke. She was aware of Akari's hand lightly touching hers, his touch warm and gentle.

After a few seconds, they pulled apart, their eyes opening as they both took a shaky breath. Mina's face was still flushed, her hand coming up to touch her lips in disbelief. She stole a glance at Akari, who looked equally stunned, his own cheeks still pink.

They sat in silence, savoring the moment until Akari chuckled awkwardly. "Well... that was... different," he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.

Mina covered her mouth, giggling softly, still feeling the warmth of his hand on her cheeks. "Y-Yeah... it has," she agreed, her voice barely a whisper. She quickly looked back down at her drawing, her heart fluttering, but her lips curved in a shy smile.

That's how they even shared their first kiss.

A few years later, both Akari and Mina now were in high school. They had changed in subtle ways. Akari was a bit taller, his hair longer, falling just below his ears, and Mina carried a quiet confidence that hadn't been there before. But one thing remained the same, the bond they shared, an unspoken closeness that had only grown with time.

Akira and Mina were in love, but couldn't tell each other, as they felt the other didn't felt the same. Mina's friends always teased her about Akira, she just blushes when they tease her.

It was spring, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The delicate pink petals floated down in a soft, gorgeous shower, carpeting the ground beneath the cherry trees. After school, Akira walked behind the building, under the canopy of blossoms, heart pounding as he rehearsed what he was going to say. He knew he couldn't keep his feelings a secret any longer.

When he saw Mina approaching in her uniform, skirt swaying gently as she walked, his heart beat even more. She smiled at him as she neared, a warm expression that filled him with both courage and nervousness. They stood in silence for a moment, just watching the petals drift around them.

"What's up, Akira?" Mina asked, her voice curious but gentle. "You wanted to talk?"

Akira's cheeks flushed slightly as he looked away, collecting his thoughts. He took a deep breath, then met her gaze, eyes filled with a determination he hadn't shown before.

"Mina," he began, his voice quiet but steady, "There's something… I need to tell you. I've wanted to say for a long time now, but I was scared. Scared that maybe… you didn't feel the same."

Mina's eyes widened, her heart suddenly fluttering as she took in his words. She took a small step closer, her face softening as she looked up at him, a blush warming her cheeks.

"What is it?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

Akira swallowed, his palms damp, but he knew he had to speak his truth.

"Mina…I like you. No, I love you," he said, his voice trembling but honest. "I have for a long time. You make me feel happy just by being around, and I don't want to be just friends anymore."

Mina's face softened even more, her eyes shimmering with emotion, her heart swelled, a warmth filling her that was impossible to hide. She took another small step toward him, reaching out to gently hold his hand.

"Akira," she began, her voice filled with quiet joy, "I… I love you too. I've felt the same way, but I was too scared to say it first."

Akira's face lit up with a smile, and without another word, he gently pulled her into his arms. They stood beneath the cherry blossoms, hearts beating together, the world around them disappearing as they gazed into each other's eyes.

Their foreheads touched, and with a shared quiet breath, they leaned in for a soft kiss. It was warm and sweet, surrounded by the falling petals.

Like a gentle blessing from the cherry blossom trees.

This is how they shared their first confession. After that day, they dated a lot. They promised that one day they'll get married.

One evening, they found themselves alone in Akira's room. The tension between them was palpable.

Akira moved closer, his breath tickling her cheek. He whispered, "Mina, I love you."

"I love you too," Mina replied, barely above a whisper.

Mina's lips parted, Akira leaned toward her, their lips met, soft and gentle at first, then deepening into a passionate kiss.

As they kissed, their hands began to explore each other's bodies. His fingers traced her curves, while her hands covered his chest.

The tension between them grew, their kiss becoming more urgent.

"Want to move to the bed?" he whispered, his eyes burning with desire.

She nodded, her voice barely audible.

They stood up, hands entwined, and walked to the bed.

"I want you," she whispered, her eyes locked into his.

"I want you too," he replied, his voice trembled with anticipation.

Their lips locked, his tongue sliding into her welcoming mouth. His hands began to trace her curves, tracing the softnessbof her skin.

"Your body is incredible," He whispered, his eyes roaming over her.

Her cheeks flushed, and her heart raced again his.

His Hand squeezed her boobs, Feeling their softness and firmness. He gently curved them, his thump circling her nipple.

"You're so beautiful," He breathed.

Her hands slid under his shirt, feeling the definition of his 8-pack-abs. He shivered at her touch.

As they kissed and explored each other bodies, his hands slid down to her waist feeling the curves of her hips.

"Can I take this off?" He asked, his fingers on the hem of her dress.

"Do as you wish with me, I'm all yours," she breathed.

He gently lifted it over her head.

Her lack white bra accentuated her cleavage, and his eyes widened In appreciation.

"Stunning," He whispered

"Stop it, you're making me blush," she whispered, her voice filled with delight.

He unhooked her bra, and her boobs spilled out, round and firm.
