The bell for afternoon break rang, releasing a swarm of students into the halls, courtyard, and garden. As usual, a cluster of couples found their way to quiet corners, leaning against lockers or nestled under trees, completely alone in their romantic world filled with whispering conversations and soft giggles. Everywhere he looked, there was another pair entwined in a heartfelt kiss.
"Ugh, this is so cringe. School life sucks," he muttered under his breath.
"SMACK!" A girl smacked his back.
"Ouch! What the hell?"
"Shin, you're peeking again? Do you want those guys to beat you up again?"
"What! No, it's not like that! They're in my view!"
"Whatever," she said, pushing her glasses up.
"Just follow me quickly. Ma'am Rayhart is asking for you; she needs your help."
"Okay, Ria…"
After a while of completing Ma'am Rayhart's chores, he went to the rooftop.
"Good thing Ria didn't notice my injuries."
"Hmm?" Shin seemed to notice something.
Suddenly, there was a big explosion.
"What the hell?!"
"Huh? What's that?"
"A MO-MONSTER?!"
"SHIT! I gotta tell this to the teachers!"
Shin rushed downstairs, screaming in the hallways to warn the other classrooms to stay inside because there was a monster outbreak.
But instead, the students started to panic and ran outside. Some students slipped and got stepped on.
"SHIT!"
Shin continued to run to the teachers' rooms.
"Shin, what the hell is happening?" a male teacher asked.
"Tea-teach! Mo-monster! I've seen a lot of them flying toward here!"
"Hey! Call the heroes' agency and tell them to send some heroes right away!"
As the teachers called for help, Shin rushed outside to see what was happening. He was shocked; it was total chaos!
Students were injured, crying; some of them were trapped by fallen structures.
Shin saw a student whose leg was trapped by a light post. He used his strength to remove it.
"He-hey, are you okay?" Shin grabbed her glasses from the ground.
"This is your glasses, right? Here."
"Tha-thank you," she said, stuttering, her eyes wide as she looked at her savior.
Shin carried her to a safe spot.
"You're quite heavy, huh?"
"Stay here! Help is coming!"
The girl was blushing; this was the first time she had seen a gentleman.
"O-okay."
A man with a whip appeared. The student shouted, "Lightning whip!"
The lightning whip struck the monster, creating space for the students to run.
Shin looked around and saw a couple of students trapped, about to be attacked by a monster with an octopus-like appearance.
"Shit, three of them are my bullies. Fuck!"
With a will to protect the weak, Shin mindlessly ran toward the monster, standing in front of his fellow classmates.
"Shit!"
As the monster's arm landed on Shin, he passed out from fear.
"BOOM!"
The lightning whip used its speed move, "Lightning speed!" to speed-blitz the monster.
Shin regained consciousness.
"Ugh, where am I?" He was shocked to see a glowing red portal.
"No way! It's a crimson portal! Why is it here?"
"Huh?" Shin looked behind him.
"Fuck! A monster is coming here! But why is my vision getting blurry—"
"I didn't even get to have sex ye—"
While falling asleep, a black portal appeared in the same exact location as the crimson portal, colliding with it and slowly sucking Shin inside.
Shin gained a little bit of consciousness.
"Where am I? This feels so weird."
"It feels like my body is getting stretched."
"Ugh, my head hurts."
Shin slowly closed his eyes.
As he gained consciousness and woke up, the world around him came into focus, and he realized he was in another world. He was lying in the middle of a breathtaking field of flowers all around him.
Vibrant blossoms stretched as far as he could see in shades of colors so vivid they seemed almost unreal.
Soft blues, brilliant yellows, deep purples, and fiery reds swayed gently in a warm breeze. The air was thick with the sweet, earthy perfume of blooming petals, and the entire field seemed alive, buzzing with the quiet hum of insects and the soft rustling of leaves.
For a moment, he just lay there. "Wh-where am I?"
