Where did all this information come from? No one knew. How was it obtained? That was also a mystery. All anyone could sense was that an invisible hand seemed to be orchestrating everything from behind the scenes.
"Quick! Rush the printing! I want to see our paper on the streets as soon as possible!"
"Hurry! We must print it before any other news outlet gets wind of this!"
"..."
News agencies and media outlets scrambled to publish these explosive revelations. Meanwhile, inside the New York Police Department, an equally tense situation was unfolding.
George was drenched in sweat, staring at an email in his private inbox. The contents of the email were so shocking that it nearly took his breath away.
Bribes taken by the deputy commissioner, deals with criminal gangs...
Someone had sent him this email, packed with evidence that could upend the police department's hierarchy. At that moment, he felt the email in his hands was far hotter than his cup of coffee.
What should he do? Was the email authentic? Should he make it public? George wiped the sweat from his brow, his mind a whirlwind of anxiety.

Elsewhere, in an abandoned military base.
Captain America had just landed. With a tactical roll, he quickly took cover. From his vantage point, the area was indeed a desolate ruin, but he stayed alert for potential threats. After waiting for about three minutes with no movement, he cautiously stood up, his shield held protectively in front of him.
The base was littered with dust and rusted mechanical parts. Torn tents and weathered crates were scattered everywhere, their decay so advanced that the site looked like a bald patch on the earth's surface.
Captain America scanned his surroundings but found nothing unusual. He headed toward the center of the base, where a sealed building stood. Its doors were welded shut with solid steel, appearing as unyielding as ever.
The structure was triangular, with part of it buried underground. Captain America examined the nearby access panel, which seemed to suggest that entry once required identity verification. But considering how long this place had been abandoned, could it really be Nick Fury's secret base?
With doubt in his mind, Captain America gripped the edges of the door and, with sheer force, tore the two panels apart.
The steel twisted and groaned. As the doors gave way, the corridor inside flickered with light. One after another, the old-fashioned lamps came to life, their dim yellow glow illuminating the space.
Captain America frowned at the lighting. How could there still be power after all this time?
The corridor was eerily quiet, ending in a staircase that led underground. A chill wind wafted up from below.
Activating his communicator, Captain America reported his location to the Avengers before descending the stairs.
The dust on the ground suggested that this place was certainly not Nick Fury's secret base. It was too dilapidated, too suspicious, and far too inconvenient for Fury's use.
At the bottom of the stairs, Captain America found an old elevator. The base's electrical system seemed to falter here. To him, this was nothing more than an ordinary, outdated base. He was just about to leave when the elevator suddenly lit up and its doors opened automatically, as if inviting him inside.
Remaining cautious, Captain America advanced slowly, his shield firmly in front of him. When the elevator stopped and the doors opened, he found himself in what appeared to be a communications room.
Numerous old computers were arranged on the desks. They looked ancient, likely out of commission due to years of neglect. Captain America approached cautiously. Suddenly, all the computers powered on simultaneously, and the name Zola appeared on each screen.
"Hello, Steve Rogers. You've finally made it here, and I've been waiting for you for a long time."
