'There will be such a presence.'
'It was given to you in trust. I want you to raise it to be my faithful Death Eater as your daughter.'
Lucius showed more surprise.
'My, my daughter? But this is Voldemort's daughter?'
'In creating it, though only half, I parted with some of the blood of the honourable House of Slytherin. From that perspective, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that it is my daughter. However, I would not regard it as such an existence. Standing at the top of the great Slytherin family, truly honourable and special, I am the only one. You may raise it as your daughter. Although its family lineage cannot be compared to mine, in the future it may gain status in some way. Of course, if it performs well, I may grant it some privileges, and although it cannot be considered my daughter, it will be given a certain status. And, of course, to the Malfoys who raised this up'
'Ah, such grateful happiness.'
Although it was difficult to comprehend the whole thing, Voldemort seemed to have made assurances for the future prosperity of the Lucius family. Yet after the reassurance, another doubt arose.
Although Lucius was filled with relief, he could not help but ask a rather blunt question, perhaps a little abrupt.
However, Voldemort's answer exceeded Lucius' expectations.
'Excuse me, is this Lord Voldemort's child?'
'? Ah, oh, it's not the case as you think. This was created by me using magic. Although it required the blood of a man and a woman, half of it was to show that I was more noble than her, I used the blood of a vampire who looked beautiful and magically powerful on the outside. Although it was created artificially, there should be no problem with it functioning as a magical race. But maybe there will be problems in the future'
Hearing Voldemort's answer, Lucius was once again surprised.
'Sucking, vampires? And not subhuman?'
'Yes, that's right. But vampires are much more noble compared to muggles or tainted blood. Of course, it might be more noble if it was your pure blood. But that would not grant immortality to the flesh. In that regard, even though vampires are subhuman and have many weaknesses, they have a sturdy body and longevity. As a blood connection is perfect for that.'
'I see. But how many vampire traits will this person possess?'
Lucius couldn't immediately accept the definition about this incomprehensible being, especially a subhuman.
Though not quite accepting it, Lucius put those grievances aside and moved on to the next question.
After all, Lucius had a wife at home and a newborn son.
For the safety of his family, Lucius had to make sure of that. Depending on Voldemort's answer, Lucius would decide how to educate the boy.
'Even I cannot predict that. You can only think about that while raising it. But I mixed half of my blood. It's not going to suddenly go sucking your family's blood.'
Even with that said, Lucius was still not completely at ease.
However.
'I understand. I will do my best to raise it.'
When it came down to it, Lucius had no right to refuse.
As if Voldemort had sensed some doubts within Lucius, he suddenly released a strong murderous aura.
'What's the matter, are you unhappy with my decision?'
'No! Absolutely not! I will raise him with great pleasure!!!'
All Lucius could do now was bow his head hastily.
'Don't worry. A week after the function began, he never asked for blood. Perhaps giving a little blood now and then will be enough.'
With that, Voldemort seemed to think that was the end of the subject and headed for the exit before stopping abruptly in front of the basement door.
'By the way, did the information Severus brought mention any progress on the whereabouts of the baby?'
'No, no. According to him there were two children born on the day he said he was born who also fulfilled the conditions, one of the Lambert's and the other of the Potter's. The Lambert's have been confirmed, but the Porter's whereabouts have not yet been found'
'Well, maybe it's the Potters. Continue the search.'
'Aye! But why are you searching for the baby born that day?'
'You need not know.'
Because he finished angrily, Lucius bowed his head hastily.
'You may continue your search for the Potters.'
This time he did walk away.
And so, Lucius hurriedly carried the white and silver coloured baby and the book with the words 'Tom Marvolo Riddle's Diary' on it, and disappeared from sight after Voldemort.
A huge room in the Malfoy Manor that had been quickly converted into a nursery since the pregnancy was discovered. There was a female who looked like a mother and a baby there.
The mother's name was Narcissa Malfoy. She was a member of the Sacred Twenty-Eight and had married into the Malfoy family from the Blake family, a pureblood of purebloods.
Marriage to Lucius Malfoy.
At first, for both parties, it was just a political marriage to keep the purebloods together.
In order to remain pureblood, it was something that was taken for granted in her mind, so she had no complaints.
However, did she never want to marry a male that she had fallen in love with.
She meets Lucius and sees his pride and self-respect as an aristocrat as well as his gentleness and slight loneliness, she gradually begins to find him endearing and begins to develop feelings of courtship and love for him.
Subsequently, she had a son with him, named Draco, and she was filled with unchanging familial love for this beloved husband and son.
However, she still has a resentment within her that she cannot ignore, not against her family, but against herself.
This dissatisfaction is
Narcissa's perspective
'Draco my sweet son.'
Narcissa gazed, with loving eyes, at the adorable baby with platinum blonde hair and light grey eyes. A son full of his own and Lucius' characteristics.
Even though he was an adorable son that Narcissa was proud of, Narcissa couldn't look at him all the time because she had just received news of her husband's return and Narcissa had to go to the door to greet him.
Narcissa said in a different voice than Draco's gentle voice, which this time was not gentle at all.
'Dobby! Take care of Draco!'
Immediately after Narcissa's voice, the Malfoy house servants appeared from the air.
'Yes ma'am.'
Narcissa looked at the answering servant for a split second before starting towards the door.
House Malfoy was a historic manor and the huge estate took a while to get to the door.
Whilst it would have been quicker to use a follower to manifest, the Malfoys as nobles couldn't just do that.
Narcissa walked down the long corridor and eventually made her way to the door just as Lucius was walking into the house.
'Welcome home.'
Narcissa greeted Lucius and he returned the greeting, but he seemed to be in a different atmosphere than before.
Upon closer inspection, he had somehow placed his hands behind his back as if he was hiding something.
From any angle, it felt different from usual.
'What's wrong? Why the unhappy look. And...'
At Narcissa's question, his usually confident attitude became rarely confused... But he seemed to have already made his decision, and quietly brought out something hidden behind him.
'A baby?'
'Yes. The master said to raise her as our child.'
A very cute girl with silver-white hair and snow-white skin appeared.
The suddenness confused Narcissa.
Even when asked to raise her, the suddenness of the situation was confusing.
Firstly, Narcissa didn't know who this child was.
Yet somehow.
Even though it should have just been a case of feeling confused than this situation, Narcissa's buried resentment and anticipation was even more shocking.
That's why Narcissa asked about the expectations hidden deep inside her heart.
'Master? Why?'
'This child seems to have inherited the master's bloodline and will become the master's right hand man in the future, so the master himself created this child. However, rather than being the master's daughter, it would be more convenient for him to be our daughter.'
'Inheriting the master's bloodline. Whose child is it? Could it be Bella?'
While it might be unlikely from the colour of her hair, given that of the women surrounding the Dark Lord, Narcissa only knew of Bella.
'No, it's not actually a daughter. Though they say it was created and, it seems, half of it is vampire blood.'
'Vampire?'
Narcissa was shocked in the face of the shocking information. Surprisingly, they were subhuman.
Voldemort possessed many dark creatures such as giants and Soul Eaters, which did include vampires. However, due to having obvious weaknesses, they probably didn't play much of a role in combat.
Since Narcissa wasn't a Death Eater herself, she didn't know much about it, but Narcissa recalled Lucius complaining about these things.
Seeing Narcissa's doubt, Lucius continued.
