Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Start of Summer Break.

Praise be to the Angel of light that keeps us alive and guides our aim so we may slaughter the enemy in her holy name. Even now, my brother's and sisters, she watches us, and by the manner of our devotion, fate, sacrifices and deaths will we be judged. So let us stop at nothing to see her holy graces vision for the earth and all of mankind become a reality. Let us be washed into her embrace by the blood of our enemies, the heretics, nonbelievers and all who stand in the path of her holy vision for us all.

Hearing Ivan say this to his followers Lili felt a sting of pain grip her little heart. This was wrong, Ivan was taking it way too far, this was not the way, or was it?

Having followed Ivan for a while, listened to him and his men speak she had slowly started to understand this Russian language. And as she began to understand the language, she also quickly came to find the reasons for their brutal actions. For she listened a lot to Ivan's preachings of the light and its ways.

And surprisingly enough it all technically wasn't wrong. Thinking of it now the whole story in the book of beginnings and the teachings of the church of light were indeed quite radical. The book basically justified any action as long as it was done in the name of the light and for the benefit of the light.

Although actions such as suicide bombs and killing civilians were meant to be only used if absolutely necessary. They were to be used in order to save many lives by sacrificing a few lives. Basically everyone under the light was one and so all needed to work for the benefit of the whole thing and not for individual gain. Everyone needed to do things for the greater good.

Also this place called Ukraine was not within her hands, so such actions of Ivan were quite unnecessary. Like sure Ukraine was a part of the earth and meant to eventually fall into the light, and so Ivan's actions were technically benefitting the light. Benefitting in the terms that people now looked up to Ivan as some saviour, and in turn he was capable of converting people of this Ukraine into the light quite easily.

But Ivan's plan was not morally good, although it did have a point to it. For he seemed to believe the saying that in chaos we find fate. Basically meaning that the worse things got, the more the war spread and people died, the more people would begin looking for miracles and gods assistance. So when he showed them but a single miracle the people were then easily converted to the light as a form of salvation to them from all the horrors around.

But honestly this was just a bit too much. She knew that he was merely following the light like she had thought him to do, but his interpretation was a bit much. So with this in mind she now turned her efforts into writing her holy book, and the high imperial alphabet so English speakers could come to understand the greatness of High Imperial.

Other than this project of hers there were other things she now needed to really work on. Mainly her team or gang as she called it.

While she loved them all and they loved her back, she didn't like the fact that they weren't united. Anna now lived with her and Alex under the same roof and in the same room, but Elsa didn't.

For Elsa's mother, a middle-aged ordinary woman named Wilda Rose was living separately from them. And almost every day she kept on coming to take Elsa away.

The woman lived in some small building in town with only Elsa there to keep her company. She wasn't married and sounded like quite a lonely person which wasn't good.

After all under the light where all are essentially family it was not normal for people to live alone without family or friends. So on the 16th of June, while Alex worked on setting up her computer and all that, she ordered Elsa to call her mother over.

So during the early hours of the day Elsa with her mother arrived at Camp Eden in their simple little car. Making sure to greet Elsa first, she then looked upon this woman named Wilda.

And she was much as she had suspected her to be. Red hair, blue eyes, a decent face and the overall build and look of an typical housewife. Although she wasn't anyone's wife right now.

The woman showed a bright smile to her and acted all happy and welcoming towards her, but she didn't reply back to the woman. No, instead she kept her distance and tried to act tough as she told Elsa and the woman to follow her into the lodge.

And there, under the watchful eyes of Anna, Ludwig, Helen, Elsa, Kristy, Eric and his two crippled war veteran buddies, Lili made a miracle happen then. Before the woman's and everyone else's eyes she began to heal the two crippled men.

Already their limbs had started to heal and grow back, but just then Lili decided to just finish the process. Now instead of touching them, she stood before them on a high chair. Then she pointed her girly little hands at them and began to glow in a holy radiant light. Closing her eyes she mumbled out loud a prayer to god and so a halo of holy light emerged above her head, followed by her whole body beginning to glow and two strong beams of light pushing out from her hands and into the two men before her.

Immediately Lili could hear the woman gasp, and then fall to her knees in disbelief as the wheelchair man's legs grew, and their average looks turned to something worthy of looking at. Needless to say all, especially the two men and the woman were in awe.

From there Lili demanded oaths of loyalty to her and they quickly did give it to her. After which she healed the woman also and from there many hours of giving answers and preaching about the light followed.

Then at the end of it all she said. "Now as your first task to me Wilda Rose. I order you to sell your house and move into Ludwig's house with Elsa. From now on we are to live close to each other like a true community of like minded believers. And the same goes for you two men, although you will not be moving into Alex's home for the space is not that great there. No instead I order you to find lodgings close to here so we all can be close like so. "

Hearing the command the woman quickly agreed without any questions, although Helen seemed a bit displeased as she looked at Ludwig with suspicion. Ludwig on the other hand seemed to be quite pleased hearing this. While the two veterans seemed to think on their command for a moment, they quickly agreed as well.

Seeing it Lili was pleased, especially with Ludwig's reaction to it all. For from the very start Lili had seen that the man had seemed to have his eye on this older red haired women. Which was good to see, for now Wilda wouldn't need to be alone anymore and surely the three adults would get greatly along and become the best of friends, right.

With this done and the other adults looking more than happy to help Wilda move. Lili now turned to more important matters, namely her book and saving the elves.

So finally later that day Elsa, Anna, Alex, along with Snoopy63 and her got into that fantastical game. With them being five they decided to form a great party of five right from the start.

Putting her Elven ears, white dress and starting up her very own stream Lili finally got into the game. There she created the one and only DevineLady the Elven priestess. A beautiful, slender, pointy eard lady that was level 1.

While the others created their very own level one Elves. And indeed all were to be Elves because Lili thought them to be quite pretty, unlike orcs.

Anna then became their sneaky little Elven girl rogue. Elsa the computer geek became their elven girl mage. Snoopy63, the mysterious mature woman then became their hunter, because she apparently liked dogs and animals overall. And finally their protector, their smasher of rocks and warrior of light, Alex became a manly Elven Warrior.

And with this set up they went forth into the world as a group of five. Starting off they messed around with the interface, got into a team and then went off to kill 6 of the glowing worm things that floated around the starting zone.

These worms had apparently gone insane because the elves no longer had the necessary magic to tame them, or something. And so it was up to them to thin their numbers a little. Although Lili seeing this as a problem wanted to do more than just take out six.

So as the six worms almost instantly got killed it fell upon her to encourage her group to do more. Snoopy63 happily agreed as she saw her experience bar increasing because of this. Anna as a loyal follower of the light helped as well and seemed to understand the necessity of their mission to do this.

But Elsa seemed hesitant arguing that the worms were only going to repawn again, but she quickly caved in and came to help. Alex on the other hand just shook his head and said.

"Lili you do realise that this is just a game. The worms are just going to respawn anyway and no Elf is going to be saved, ok. They are just NPCs, non player characters. So come on and just follow me ok."

Hearing this Lili wasn't all too surprised as Alex had said something similar before. After all this wasn't her first time here. Back then she always just followed Alex's advice as she thought him to be a noble and all knowing of many things, but he wasn't. Because of this she had her doubts now and so she argued back.

"But Alex, what if they are not just characters in a game or these NPCs as you call them. What if they do have souls and are in need of our help, surely we cannot just let such pretty people suffer because of these worms. And besides the people in that other game were all real, so why can't they be like that here, right."

Once again Alex merely shook his head at her words. He clearly wasn't agreeing with her even though she was the group leader here, and so a bet was made to see who was right and who was wrong. The stakes being the role of group leader for life.

And though she confident in her bet with Alex, she quickly began to notice that the worms began respawning. No matter how many they killed they just kept coming again and again in the same exact spot.

Being a fighter as she was she didn't want to admit defeat. After all there had to have been a limit to the creatures, right.

While thinking of this the stream also quickly began to complain and question her like Alex did. Until finally she felt Alex grab her by her waist. In response she let out a girlish. "Kyaahh!" As she was then lifted off her chair and throw unceremoniously onto Alex's bed.

And there she watched in shock, just like the other girls did as Alex forcefully stripped her of her power. He took a hold of her mouse and gave his own character the role of group leader.

This was a coup, a forceful transfer of power, it was not fair and so she retaliated. Getting off the bed she intended to head for his computer and do the same to him, but before she could he grabbed her and pinned her to the bed.

"Noooo, get off me. It's not fair." She cried out at him, but he didn't listen and merely smiled at her as if it was funny to him. Was her struggling funny to him, or was him humiliating her in front of the others like this amusing to him?

Well whatever the case, she wasn't going to tolerate his accept defeat so easily. Her hands might have been pinned to the bed by his stronger hands. Her legs might be spread apart making it hard for her to kick him, but she wasn't powerless just yet.

Thinking quickly she wrapped her legs around his wide back, and with all the strength that she could muster she him in close. He didn't resist much at all which was perfect for her as she used her teeth to bite at his exposed traps right below the neck. Alex wearing that sleeveless shirt to expose his developing muscles was for sure going to pay for that mistake.

Well that's what she thought at first, before realising that he wasn't fazed by her attack in the slightest. He actually even seemed to enjoy it as he let out a deep grown and whispered in a strange tone of voice into her ear saying.

"Just admit it, I was right and now I'm going to be in charge of you and everything else. After all I am the only man here, so what else can you do except submit to me?"

Then he pressed her against the bed, she didn't let go, but she could feel his warmth and his breath. Something hard was touching her again down there and she felt hot.

This definitely hadn't gone as she had suspected it to go. Even the girls seemed to be stunned by what they saw. Oh, she really didn't want to admit it, she didn't want to be defeated.

But then again it was Alex, this was embarrassing now and she liked him. Quickly her face reddened at the thought and she hastily let go, it wasn't like she was going to be able to hurt him anyway. Alex might not have known much about fighting, but he was strong, way stronger than she was and so she looked away and let her silence be her acceptance of defeat.

Luckily Alex accepted her silence as an answer and quickly let her go. Although there was something strange about him now as he walked away. For he walked to his chair with two hands covering his crotch area as if he was hiding something there. Was he hurt?

Well whatever the case it did seem that Alex was right. The characters in this game told great stories and all, but that was pretty much it. No matter how many tasks they did for them the NPC's never really changed.

While this was a slight shattering of her immersion into the game, it still didn't really matter. After all the game was quite interesting and fun to play together like this.

And so they quickly advanced from level one to ten. Helen brought them some pieces of a water melon to eat, which was quite good. Definitely something that she would need to plant in the future in Eden.

And not just watermelons, but a tree of her own as well. For in the game she saw it, the absolutely largest and most magnificent tree that she had ever seen. Sadly it was cut in half and now supposedly had a city atop it.

Truly the thing was huge in the picture that she saw of it and so she decided that to be something she needed. Or more specifically she wanted a world tree of her very own, cause it would be cool.

Also the classes and all the abilities, spells and things she saw there did make her wonder. Could she make something similar happen or come to life in the real world. After all she held god's gift of giving life and healing within herself and so maybe she could give life to these other things she saw there in the game.

But as interesting at these ideas were she sadly didn't have all that much time right now to do it all. Alex and the others were on summer vacation from school and would be going to highschool in a couple of months or so.

So for now she wanted to spend as much time as she could with them all, playing games, earning money and training all sorts of different skills. Hopefully by then Ivan would also return and everything would be well again, but before then she had to really focus on getting him his armoured plates which would require improving Alex's powers some more.

Although for now she could only watch him and hope that he survived that war with his men.
