Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Becoming a content creator, for the money?

What was money, she didn't know, but apparently it was important. According to Alex money can get you almost anything and nearly everything you want. Land, friends, cool weapons, political power, respect, a limousine, gaming PCs, pornstars, all the channels on tv and lots of games. Even getting yourself to the moon and back again was possible. Or becoming the president and seeing area 51, which were apparently big things. Well she couldn't remember exactly all the things Alex said, but pretty much everything could apparently be obtained with money.

But most of all Alex needed money for the gaming pc, one for her and one for himself. Oh and money for court since his family was being sued for Alex beating up those mean nobles. Whatever being sued meant she didn't know. But she knew that these things were really important to him and she wanted to help. But how were they going to get the money, this she didn't know, but Alex luckily did seem to know.

According to Alex getting money was easy. Because everything has a certain dollar value, and so even her primitive tools could be turned into money. And even things like YouTube channels on the internet can be made to create money. So he had apparently created many channels like Lilis survival guide to America, Lili's Little forge, Lili's guide to martial arts, Vlogging with Lili and Alex. Or creating an FB page with her and Alex's pictures could also be made to create money.

Hearing all of this, Lili was impressed. Alex was so smart and so capable of making money. And not just money, but he seemed to know how to gain many things called dollars as well. Dollars that could be made to rain, and even used to swim in, like in a pool of water.

And to make these money making things work, Alex needed to apparently follow her around with that thing called the phone. Wherever they went, whatever they did, it was now always there. Either in his hands, or on the ground next to them. He carries it around all the time, talks into it, makes her talk in front of it about the things she was doing and such. It was so weird.

The only exception to this was whenever she taught him how to build up his powers. Which was basically done by simply using those powers. The more he used it, the stronger it got. He could either passively keep burning it by keeping up his defences for as long as possible. Or simply by using the ironbone technique, which was essentially him just smashing his body parts into hard things. For his powers naturally just made him stronger and more durable to all damage, especially physical, so taking damage or dealing damage built up his power to receive and give out damage.

But other than that she couldn't help but feel that all of what Alex said and what he did was just so weird. Thinking of it all she honestly just felt so lost. She couldn't understand any of it. How was Alex doing all these things going to get them the money. He did try to explain it to her, but she just couldn't see it anywhere. She had even tried to look at her tools, with and without her magical eyes, but she just couldn't see it there. She even tried to pour her magic into her tools and managed to turn them into shining tools of light, but she still couldn't see it there. Where was the money or how was it made, this she couldn't understand?

Thinking on all the things he had said, she just couldn't really wrap her head around them. Just what was a gaming set up anyway or a pc? Why did anyone need money to get land or food, when you could just build a house like she did or pick strawberries like she did? And where did that hot chocolate come from, why could it only be obtained with money? Why did Alex need money to get things, when the Sargent never did? All the Sargent ever needed to do was ask the radio for things and then he would get those things. The Sargent never spoke of the money, or used the money for anything, and never had she seen anyone use these raining dollars.

Oh there were so many things that she knew not the answer to, but luckily Alex did. And if Alex knew of these things then it was ok for her not to know of them, she trusted Alex and just needed to follow him to gain the money, right. And once she had the money, then she could have more hot chocolate, right? After all she did like hot chocolate.

And so she and Alex were now on a quest to make the money and get lots of dollars, so that they could become people called millionaires who had many fine things. Or well this was what Alex said at least.

So in the quest to get the money, Alex had tried to ask his parents for permission for her to enter his house. He wanted her to use his gaming set up to stream with him as apparently her looks could help them get the money faster. But due to Alex being under house arrest, he had been denied this request by his parents. He was not to bring any friends home while under house arrest or something, like that. She didn't really understand what house arrest was, but it sounded bad.

And so Alex had for the past few days merely followed her around with that phone of his. Doing this she managed to learn many new things from him. Like that eating worms was not normal and Alex didn't like her doing it, except for the views.

She also learned that apparently the dead fluffy demon in her stick trap was actually just an animal called a rabbit. And that the big horned demon whose head she had left impaled a top the highest of mountain peaks to ward off the invading demons was actually also just an animal. Something called a moose.

Alex having seen the traps and dead or dismembered corpses of the animals, had not gotten impressed at all. No, he actually just got horrified by it all and a bit worried for her, as he had then started lecturing her.

"No no no, no Lili. Why, just why would you do this? You can't do this. You just can't go placing traps wherever you want and just kill whatever you want. First of all you don't even have a hunting license and secondly you already almost killed my dad doing this. Like seriously Lili I know you must have had a rough childhood, but please no more of this. There are hiking trails just on the other side of the mountain for god's sake. And do you have any idea just how many people get lost around here each year? And now not only are they in danger of getting a bit lost, but now there is also a high probability of them getting maimed or just straight up killed by your traps. Like no Lili, just no. No more traps and no more killing animals, my family is already in enough legal trouble as it is. Take it all down. I definitely don't want to be making content out of this, no way."

Hearing this Lili felt sad, she had already carved many skulls into the trees as a sign of danger, but Alex didn't even see them. And it's not like she meant to hurt anyone, she just wanted to hunt the demons, but apparently they were all animals. She tried to ask of this, she wanted to explain to Alex that she merely wanted to protect the valley from the demons. But Alex merely seemed to get confused at her talk of demons as he said.

"Demons? What, you can't be serious Lili? Where did you get such an idea? At worst you might encounter a few bears or wolves here, but as long as you don't disturb them, they aren't going to do anything to you. But you most definitely aren't going to find demons in Vermont at least. Like seriously Lili, I know you must be scared living here alone in the woods, but just trust me it's safe here. And if you really need to then I can always let you come sleepover at my house if you want. Of course I'll need to get permission first and you'll need some new clothes so my parents don't really think your a lost homeless girl or something. But until that time just try to lay low and don't go killing things ok. There are no demons here, just normal animals and birds, ok. And I don't even live all that far, so if you ever need anything then just come and ask."

Alex's words did make sense to her and weren't really a shock to her at all. After all she had already held many doubts about these creatures being actual demons. But still Heaven held no defences, not at least any that she could see. So her mission to build heavens defences still stood.

All this really meant was that she now had more time to focus on building her weapons and tools, instead of worrying about fighting against the demons. And she had been feeling quite bad for killing the fluffy creatures anyway, so this was a good thing to her. She didn't want to kill fluffy creatures anymore now.

Being more knowledgeable now of so many new things, Lili felt smart. Alex had taught her well and now her life felt so easy and so much simpler than before. It almost seemed as if her life was now truly like a dream, a fantasy land of hers or something. There was peace here, no explosions or worries really, and so life was good.

She also liked to make content with Alex, even though it was kind of weird, especially the parts where she had to talk to that phone . Plus Alex really liked doing it as they were now getting a lot of likes, subscribers and views on the channels.

The channels were apparently growing really fast and soon Alex was going to make a contract. A contract that would allow him to get the money. Which did confuse her even more, as Alex hadn't ever before said anything about needing a contract to get the money.

And then the day of Friday came around, as Alex called it. And in the morning of that friday as she had just woken up, Alex had come knocking at her door with a nice looking box in his hands.

It was a present for her, something that Alex wanted her to wear, and oh did she love it. For before her he had brought a short white dress more beautiful than anything she had ever seen before. There were also some really strange looking, long rubbery ears called, elf ears?

Apparently Alex wanted her to be his healing Elven priestess in a game, and he also wanted her to dress as such also so that they could get more views.

Although Alex seemed a bit embarrassed as he apparently couldn't afford anything better than this at the moment. Overall it had cost him 29 bucks to obtain just the dress and the ears, which was apparently a lot.

What were bucks, she didn't know, but she did want to try out the dress. Taking it in hand she could just feel it's oh so soft and nice fabric and as she started to undress, she noticed Alex getting a bit red in the face as he quickly then turned away.

Seeing it Lili couldn't help but feel happy and gigglish inside. After all it was a good sign, Alex seemed to really like her look, even though she didn't have big tits or a fat ass yet. Which were things that the Sargent liked and needed to have in his women for him to be interested in them and be willing to marry them, oh and he also likes women with small tight waists which she did luckily have. So maybe this time she actually had a chance to get married, unlike in her past where the Sargent never accepted her offer.

Although she wasn't all too sure what marriage even was. She only knew that Jesus had said that it was a thing that men and women should do when both their bodies had begun to bloom.

Well whatever the case, she really did like the dress, however Alex seeing it seemed a bit disturbed as he said. "Ah damnit, forgot to buy you underwear and I guess shoes could have been really good as well. Damn, I'm sorry Lili. Well guess I could let you borrow my old ones then, hmm. Well whatever, we can think of it later I guess if its ok with you?"

Looking at herself she could see her nipple's sticking out a bit, which did seem to be catching Alex's attention quite a bit. Which she did like and so she merely showed a smile and said. "I like it, hihi."

Alex seemed a bit unsure, despite hearing her reply, but said nothing more about it. Grabbing the Elven ears off the ground he then carefully put them on her ears, which felt kind of nice, and then he covered them lightly with her hair.

With it done, Lili quickly ran to the lakeshore and looked down into the water to see her own reflection. And wow was she cool. With wide eyes and awe she looked at herself there, the dress was hugging her body lightly, it felt so good and so free. Most of her upper body was exposed and her developing curves looked a lot better in the dress than without it, it seemed. And the ears, though strange, did make her look quite special and cool in a way.

Alex also seemed to agree as he pointed his phone at her, took some pictures or something and said. "Damn everyone so gonna be jealous of us now, as we kick their asses in the arena. Now show me that beautiful smile Lili."

Lili smiled hearing this, although she didn't really feel like kicking anyone's ass, but for Alex she would do it. But then after a few pictures were apparently taken Alex stunned her by saying. "Ok I think that's good enough for now. let's just head off to my place now, before my parents return. Gotta get you on my stream and fast, so that we can finally start getting some donations. Now come on Lili, let's go."

Lili could only gasp in disbelief at his words, was she actually being invited now into a nobles house, into Alex's house? Alex though didn't seem to think much of this as he hurriedly took her hand and pulled her along towards his house saying. "My parents are out shopping right now. But they will be back later on today, so we have to be fast. I don't want them catching us, hmm. But then again I guess you could always just hide in my closet so it should be ok. Well whatever, after we start getting that big money I'm sure my parents will not care anymore of such things anyway. So it's ok even if I'm still under house arrest now."

In silence Lili just followed Alex as they ran hand in hand through the ever growing strawberry fields, through the small forest and to the brick houses front yard. There again Lili could see cars that she hadn't seen before, and quite fancy looking cars at that, and in the first floor window a curious little girl looking at her and Alex running past the house. The girl seemed to be saying something as she then pointed towards them, and soon other larger nobles came to look at them.

But Alex didn't seem to care about this as they continued to run up the road, towards his house. Then she could see the fields coming up on her right and heading further up the road, they then ran past a small open metal gate there that usually was closed, blocking the road, and then they could see the two small wooden houses there on the right. And further behind those houses was the main house where Alex lived.

Running across the yards short grassy ground, straight towards the two story house, Lili noticed a colourful flag of stars and stripes there. But more than anything she couldn't help but feel impressed at the sight of the house. Its smooth wooden outsides were painted white, its triangle shaped roof was so smooth and shiny in the sun. There were many intact and clean rectangle shaped windows around the house also. And behind the house there was a nice white fence that seemed to hold a small garden of some kind.

And then they came to the big square shaped wooden step that led to the beautiful wooden door. Honestly Lili couldn't believe it. No back then she couldn't have even imagined such a sight, to be able to see an unburnt beautiful house made of wood was something so unbelievably to her. As the demons burned everything, they left no wooden houses standing and so she had never before coming here seen a wooden house, never.

Standing there at the door Alex sounded ashamed as he said. "Mmm, well, this is my house. And yeah I know it's not much and quite small, but hopefully you don't mind. Oh, but the insides are at least really nice and clean, mom always makes sure of that."

Saying this he then crouched down and lifted up a small pot next to the door, revealing a small key hidden under there. Taking it he then unlocked the door and pushed it open.

Lili stood there just watching him in silence, taking in the amazing sensation of the smooth wood under her feet, feeling like she was in a dream. And as the door opened Lili could see a long wooden hallway there that lead to some stairs in the distance that went to the left.

Seeing her standing there Alex looked at her with a questioning expression as he asked. "Hmm, what's wrong Lili? Aren't you coming in?"

Too stunned to respond to his words, Lili merely carefully stepped inside. Her feet touched a nice hard furry doormat that's furs were rubbery and a bit hard making her bare feet tingle as she brushed them on it.

Standing there she then noticed what looked like a kitchen to her left. She could see many strange machines in the kitchen and a big table in the middle with many chairs around it. And next to the kitchen was what looked like a living room, with one of those big screens and a luxurious looking sofa and a chair. Further down the hall she could see two doors and then the stairs leading up to the left.

Alex looked at her questioningly as she then asked. "Do a lot of people live here?" To her it seemed that there was space enough for at least twenty people here. Especially if she thought of the Little Betty and how it was able to fit her and all thirteen of her friends inside of it to sleep.

Although Alex seemed confused for some reason as he said. "Mmm, it's just my family here."

Hearing it Lili felt stunned, Alex's family must have then been quite big, or maybe nobles were just solitary creatures that liked to live with a lot of space to go around. But either way she was impressed.

With awe she stood there for a good while just looking around. There were so many strange things here, and interesting portraits of people and places.

But Alex didn't seem impressed at all by any of it as he just grabbed her hand and said. "Oh come on Lili. Stop acting so surprised. My house is not a museum, ok. Its simple and small, not that much to look at, ok."

Curiously Lili studied all that she could see around her as Alex pulled her down the hall, past the two doors and then they went up the stairs that were covered by an all so soft carpet. Lili tried to touch it, she wanted to sleep on it, but Alex didn't let her.

He pulled her along, until they then came to a smaller hallway upstairs that travelled next to the wooden railing of the stairs there, and there she could see a singular door. A door which Alex quickly pushed open and pulled her into.

There in front of her, next to the window was a black desk with a chair unlike anything she had ever seen, and on the desk there were two black screens and something else there with many buttons it seemed. Next to the desk on the right was a small shelf with many thin colourful things, with text that she could not read. And above the shelf there was another big screen.

And on the left side there was a big bed with beautiful white sheets. It seemed so big that at least three of her clones could fit side by side on it. And next to her there was a big closet, that had many piles upon piles of fancy colourful clothes spewing out of it. And next to the closet there was another door leading somewhere.

And everywhere on the walls there were portraits of soldiers and strange looking people with guns, a flag with stripes and stars, and many characters in strange armours. In one of them there was a person in black armour with a helmet that covered his face, and in his hands he seemed to be holding what seemed like a sword of light.

Everywhere around her there were so many nice looking things here. Truly nobles did have many things, things that she had never ever seen or even managed to dream of.

Looking at it all, she noticed Alex close the door and then run over to the desk, where he pressed a button on a metallic box to turn its blue lights on. But as she watched him doing this and then turn on the screens, she then noticed the games there, just under the bed. And oh were there many of them there, at least twelve of them.

Hurrying to them, she could hear Alex say, something about getting the game started. Which was exactly what she intended to do. Coming to the bed side, she got to her knees on the nice wooden floor and pulled out one of the boxes there.

On it she could see the picture of some funny looking mustache man with a cane and a fancy suit and hat. And as she opened it she was immediately reminded of her and the Sargents and his friends playing these kinds of games all the time.

Although she sadly couldn't understand any of the things written in this game board or it's manual. While heavens letters seemed simple, she sadly hadn't had enough time to study them. But luckily it did seem that her time to study had finally come here, as Alex seemed to be occupied with his own things. She could see him adjusting some mic looking thing on a stick and doing something with those buttons on that black board on the desk.

Well whatever he was doing, it did give her now the chance to study these texts in peace. Although how playing this game would make the money, this she didn't yet know?
