Suddenly, I saw more men rushing toward me, their dark cloaks billowing as they ran.
"Catch her!!" One of them shouted, his voice echoing through the corridor.
I stood up, wiping the blood from my face, gripping the sword tighter in my hand. My heart was pounding, but I tilted my head, a twisted grin forming on my lips.
"I'II show you what badass Sia is," I muttered under my breath.
And then... something snapped. I didn't know how, but my body seemed to move on its own. A surge of adrenaline flooded through me, and I felt weightless. Powerful.
I ran toward the wall, taking a few long steps up it, defying gravity. My body twisted midair, and I launched myself at one of the men who had come forward, my speed catching him off guard.
