So far, I could say that Alfred has been doing his best to make me trust him, and so far, he has not shown any sign to have any sort of scheme against me, perhaps it was hidden or perhaps he's been truthful, since our fates were tied together at this point. I am paranoid and I can't help it, so for now I decided to extend an olive branch, after all, we do have more important matter in our hand right now to deal with.

Only now I know where this muscle head was living in, it was actually one of the many good nature communities. Which is a relief, but also sad as we would get kicked out soon.

In terms of survivability Rat Town can survive this harsh world just fine, they already a small government that are functioning and their rules are solid and the people here obeyed it to the tee. After all, people wanted to live within a group and they wanted to survive this harsh world too. For now, getting kicked out are already confirmed for me, so rather than dwelling on it, I need to make a plan for the future.

I got no money at all, and my reputation on this settlement already the worst, begging and pleading is useless. Rat Town still can have its use to me as a potential trading partner and perhaps an alliance in the future, so I don't want to close that potential no matter what. We need a new place, that not only safe, but also have potential to be developed into anything that can be useful to our survival and perhaps even continuity.

That might be able to solve our immediate problem, and 5 kilometers that is a distance that I was able to cover without a problem with this cripple body.

With the preparation for the outcome to come now put aside. Finally, I were able to breath the sigh of relief, my body in no longer paralyzed, I can now sit down easily and even stand up on me on my own two feet. So, I decided to walk around inside of the shack a little bit, just a few steps, and I can confirm that I am now need a cane to walk, my left leg is messed up, the bones were bent inwards. Running nor jogging are not possible anymore for me.

Still pretty logical, that it need a screen and an address to do shopping, and it need money to buy stuffs, to make me smile like a shrewd merchants is that I can basically sell gold, silver and other valuable stuff here, even the pre-war currency to top up my funds, and on this world, the gold and silver are basically a junk, and those pre-war money are just a useless piece of paper that only being used as a fire starter or to wipe ass.
