James Brown didn't pay attention to Helen Wilson and headed straight for the entrance of the neighborhood.
"Wait!" Helen Wilson suddenly turned around and called out to James Brown.
James Brown stopped walking and turned around, speaking cautiously, "Officer Wilson, what now?"
Helen Wilson approached James Brown, stared into his eyes with knitted brows, and said, "Where were you at nine o'clock this morning?"
"At work, of course. I was with my boss and the director, and they can all vouch for me. Whatever case you have, I have an alibi. Don't try to pin this on me."
Helen Wilson waved her hand dismissively and said, "It's not about any case, never mind, I won't talk to you about it." Then she turned around and walked away again.
James Brown felt somewhat amused. Officer Helen Wilson had caught a criminal and made an achievement, yet she still seemed distracted.
