James Brown went home first, changed his clothes, and then had some rest since there was still plenty of time before the end of work. Around four-thirty, he received a call from Gina Lopez, asking him to wait for her at her place.
James Brown didn't understand what Gina was up to, but he went straight to her home anyway. Gina hadn't arrived yet, and though James could easily unlock her door, doing so would be somewhat inappropriate. He didn't want everyone to know he could just enter other people's homes—after all, that would make others feel very insecure.
Less than twenty minutes later, Gina was back, taking out her keys to unlock the door while saying, "Tonight, you're coming with me to a banquet."
Following Gina inside, James asked, "As what, exactly?"
While walking toward her bedroom, Gina responded, "As the driver."
James let out a sigh of relief. If he had to go as her boyfriend, that would be more troublesome, but being the driver was much simpler.
