The boxes weren't heavy, but they were bulky enough to take up the space of four people. So, the already crowded elevator became exceptionally cramped.
As the elevator doors closed, James found himself pressed against others. Sunny and Gina Lopez were sticking to the elevator walls, leaving James no choice but to lean on one of them. Naturally, he chose Sunny, since they had shared a one-night fling, making this contact seem inconsequential.
