"Death is only but a state of being. So is having consciousness." When I said that one of the locks broke and shattered. This stunned the class. The teacher was getting upset. The weapons closed and went into the ground and changed to nicer and stronger weapons.
"Darkness and light are just illusions of the past," I said, making more locks break and some of the religious talismans burn.
"Hey, you stop this instant, you ----!" The teacher got cut off. Good, I need to focus on this and remember the saying.
"Back off before I make you into an enslaved person." I heard Lamia say. Did she manifest herself without my permission?
"People do not regulate the rules of the world, but by the ones called principalities," I said as the last lock broke, and an evil aura could be felt. The whole class started to freak out. I couldn't care less about my class. Right now, in front of me is an evil weapon of absolute hatred. I reached out to grab the weapon named Andras Shield of Discord.
In a mere moment, my surroundings changed. The ground, the roof, and the air became black. The only thing I could guarantee that exists is this shield and I.
I cannot deny the existence of the burning sensation on my right wrist. It burns, like burns so much I am surprised I am not burnt to a crisp.
"Humans, no matter the world, are foolish, disgusting, and greedy creations in God's image." A voice, no, not just a voice. The voice of Andras said.
"Good to know that some demons don't act good to fool humans," I said, giving Andras a big smirk.
"Why is a foolish human trying so hard to summon me? How foolish can one be? Well, maybe you aren't foolish enough to summon a stronger demon." Andras said.
"Regardless of who I summon, I know how this works. You expect me to command you to give me power. You will then call me foolish and offer me up some form of your reality, and then I either die or convince you to give me power." I said to that demon.
"You aren't foolish like most humans. So convince me. Why should I give you power that corrupts the soul." Andras said.
Well, that is going to be hard to do. I need to show this demon that I have power over its being. At the same time, winning its favor, so it doesn't kill me. I can try and throw a curveball. I could be honest. Being honest with a demon isn't the smartest idea.
"Behold, I give unto you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you," I said.
"You cannot believe that will convince me entirely to give you my power, you foo-"I didn't let Andras finish.
"Those who are smart do not speak a lot about explaining their feelings are the ones who contain knowledge. Even you should know that concept." I said, angering Andras.
Andras erupted in anger. "You bastard of bastards. How dare you talk down to me!! I am the great Marquis of Hell!"
"Who is currently, for some reason, in a shield? I know you want a physical body again but you require a great amount of stats. The first stat you need is attack. Am I right?" I said, giving my own devilish grin.
"Watch your mouth, human. What I want is more than just that." Andras said.
"Well, of course, a being that hates God would want more than that. Let me guess. You want to make all humans sin so his creations get damned to hell.
There is even more than that, but to do that, you need a physical body. To get a physical body, you need stats to sacrifice or possession. Even if you did possess you would need a body to possess that doesn't break down." I kept going on and on, explaining what he wanted.
"Okay, now that you know what I want. How will you provide for it?" Andras said.
"Easy, I know how to make stat raising cards. I can make hundreds of thousands or even more stat-raising cards. I can make you consume a lot of status points in general. I will prove it by allowing you to eat a card I produced. I would allow you to have both, but I need one to further my cause, which will, in turn, further your strength." I said to Andras.
The conversation went on for what seemed like 20 minutes after coming to a one-month agreement. The demon will see what I can do within that month. If Andras likes my progress, he will stay for another month until he is not satisfied. From the outside perspective, it only took about fifty seconds.
Devils are powerful creatures and I could have tried to seal him somehow, but I will not try and risk it. I would hate to die, and the third try would be seen as useless. Who knows if I even would have a fourth chance?
