Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Third Try

As an author, I try to create interesting worlds that inspire others. Sadly, that isn't the case. I made a story called Great Unifier. This book was meant to encourage people friendly to America to make their hatred towards others null and void. For example, I made Koreans and Japanese friends with each other. This is not the case in my original world.

While the Koreans and Japanese in my story were not overtly friendly, they shared a mutual respect that often inspired each other. They exchanged culinary delights, with Koreans enjoying Japanese cuisine and vice versa. However, it was the American character in my original story who played a pivotal role in uniting These nations to combat the dungeons.

Sadly, my story did not sell well because of two simple things. I didn't have any sex, so the Americans did not like it. At the same time, I was trying to make Koreans and Japanese like the story. They did not like that I did not make either of their governments the bad guys.

I failed the world I created because I made a pull-crap ending to tie up some loose ends. To get over my sadness, I went to Dubai to explore the nation for inspiration. The next thing I knew, some extremist blew me up. Before fully dying, I saw the horrors of my private part completely smashed. I died at the hands of another with little regrets. My only qualm was failing to write a successful story.

In an instant, I woke up in an unfamiliar place. A roof I did not recognize, and since I woke up in this position, I said the one thing I always wanted to say. "This roof is unfamiliar to me." When I said it out loud, I noticed my voice sounding slightly younger.

I woke up to find myself in the story as a background character. This happened before, I have regressed. Using my knowledge of being the author, I got so close to finishing with a good life in this different world..

I was wrong in one thing. I was relying too much on so little. I only had five allies. I needed more to help defeat the only Impossible Ranked Dungeon—the one I hinted at in my story. There is a way to beat it, but I left my story a little open-ended. I left it open ended because most stories' endings tend to be badly wrapped up.

Even though I finished the story with an open ending. I know I have to live this life out. Since I am living this life out I should wrap up the story. There were two things in my second life that I was missing. The first was not having a lover. I was the author of a story, so I thought I shouldn't meddle with love lives. I was wrong.

If I had a pretty wife with me, I would have fought harder. The second one was not gathering more friends to help me fight. I focused on only the strongest of the strong characters. I should not have ignored clearly strong people.

There was one more problem. I tried to take the role of the main character. I used a sword as my main fighting weapon. In the first life I used a Katana, while the main character used a Korean-style blade. I have realized my faults and will learn how to act differently. Since then, I have another chance at life. After dying to a blast from a dungeon boss, I woke up.

I was in the same room on the same day I woke up originally. September 1st, in the Year 2055, I woke up in the body of a half Korean and half Japanese boy. My mother is Korean, and my father is Japanese. Realizing what I have to do. I got out of bed an begin my journey. One important thing I must do differently in this life is to not go against the style of the main character.

In my story, I had runes that could be placed on people to draw power from a realm beyond this dimension. I never used them because it required a sacrifice. In return, you are granted power far worth the sacrifice. No one, including me, did anything with it only because who wants to sacrifice anything?
