The governor sat in his study while thinking over the current situation. He was thinking about the sudden withdrawal of Flame Essence and also his son's mysterious condition were related to each other as they happened at the same time.
He then looked at his servant and ordered. "Prepare the carriage. We're going to the Volcaria estate. This matter ends today."
The servant bowed and also reported another matter. "My Lord, the young master has woken up."
The governor who heard it was a bit surprised and said, "If he is awake, then tell him to prepare himself. He's coming with me. His condition might be connected to Volcaria."
The servant nodded quickly and left the room, leaving the governor alone to prepare himself to meet with Volcaria.
The carriage was soon prepared and the governor and his son rode it to go to the Volcaria estate.
The fat young master looked at his father while clenching his fist in anger and said, "Father, what's happening to me? My... my manhood... my powers... They're gone!"
The governor glanced at him and tightened his lips. "I don't know, but we're going to find out. If this is the work of the Volcaria family, they'll answer for it."
The young master frowned as he was angry. "The Volcaria family? What do they have to do with this? Do they think they can humiliate me? Me? The son of the governor?"
The governor frowned and immediately scolded him up. "Enough. Let me handle this. Don't make a fool of yourself when we arrive."
The fat young master could only be angry and silent while thinking. "They'll pay for this; whoever's responsible, I'll make them suffer."
Meanwhile, at the Volcaria estate, Daxton kneeled in the grand hall. He brought some news to Lady Savra. "Lady Savra, the governor has arrived, along with his son."
Savra then smirked upon hearing it. "I see, then let them in. I want to see what they want to do now."
Daxton bowed slightly. "As you wish, Lady Savra."
Moments later, the governor and his son were to enter the estate and the moment they entered, they immediately saw Savra, who was sitting on a throne at a far end.
"Lady Savra, I appreciate you granting me an audience." The governor began with a frowning face.
Savra nodded and smiled. "Governor. It's rare to see you here in person. To what do I owe the honor?"
The governor's expression darkened. "Let's not waste time with pleasantries. Your family has cut off the supply of Flame Essence to my city without explanation."
The governor also pointed at his son. "And now, my son has also fallen victim to unknown conditions. I can't help but wonder if the two are connected."
Savra only continued to smile. "I see. And you've come seeking answers?"
The governor immediately answered. "Yes. If your family is behind this, I demand to know why."
The young master stepped forward and shouted. "Do you think you can humiliate me and my family? My beast bond is severed, my... my manhood gone! Who did this? Was it you?"
Savra immediately frowned after hearing what the fat young master said. She immediately turned toward him before turning back to the governor.
"It seems that you've failed to teach your son any manners, Governor. I suggest you correct that."
The governor immediately became a bit angry and also embarrassed. He immediately shut his son's mouth to silence him.
"My apologies, Lady Savra. He's not himself due to his condition. But I demand answers to my earlier question: why has your family cut the supply of Flame Essence? And is this affliction connected to you?"
Savra looked at him and smirked. "Demand? Don't make me laugh."
Savra then stood up and glared at the governor. "I don't owe you anything, Governor. I am the matriarch of the Volcaria family. And you? You're a mere governor of a small city. Do you honestly believe you're my equal?"
The governor frowned. But before he could retort, the doors were opened and soon a man came in that made all eyes onto him.
The young master was frozen as he remembered him. "That man! I saw him yesterday in the market! It must be him! It's his doing!"
The governor turned sharp to Lucius, then back to Savra. "So, this is your doing after all. You've allowed this... this boy to harm my son?"
Lucius, who was unfazed, just continued his walk and stopped beside Savra. He then looked at the governor and his son, who were both ugly and fat.
"Harm? I have no idea what you're talking about." Lucius said with a bit of a mocking tone.
The governor became angry and roared. "Don't play coy with me, boy! You'll regret crossing my family!"
The governor then summoned his beast, which was a 3-Star Wind Lynx and immediately commanded it. "Attack that boy!"
The Wind Lynx leaped forward and prepared his claws as it ran toward Lucius. Daxton, who stood at the corner, shouted, "Young Master..."
But before anyone else could react, something intercepted the lynx mid-air. Liora appeared and immediately struck the Wind Lynx using her claws.
The Wind Lynx, who was attacked, fell down and was injured, making the governor frown.
Liora stood between Lucius and the Wind Lynx and she looked angry. Liora then turned toward the governor. "How dare you to attack my master!"
The Wind Lync was about to stand up and attack again but Liora immediately used her claw to stop it before doing anything. "You dare!"
Lucius only chuckled and smirked when he saw the situation. "Liora, don't overdo it. Let them live... for now."
Liora only nodded and stepped back to his side. "As you wish, Master." But she still glared the governor.
The governor clenched his fists as he was angry. "Savra! Is this how you allow your subordinates to behave? Do you condone this insult?"
Savra only smirked. "Governor, you brought this upon yourself. Summoning your beast to attack in my hall? Did you think there would be no consequences?"
The fat young master, who was really angry at Lucius, shouted. "You! I don't care what tricks you used—fix me! Restore my beast bond, my manhood, or I'll---"
"You'll what?" Lucius interuppted.
He then took a step forward as he mocked the fat young master. "You'll cry louder? Scream until someone else fights your battles for you? Face it. You're nothing."
The young master became even angrier after he was mocked by Lucius and trembling because of it.
