Chapter 28 - The Manager's Excitement

Savra soon arrived at the auction house. She then immediately went to the receptionist and shocked them.

The receptionist immediately stood and bowed down. "Welcome to the auction house, Lady Savra. How may I assist you today?"

Savra only smirked as she looked at her. "I need to speak to the manager so call him for me, will you?"

The receptionist nodded quickly, "Of course, Lady Savra. Please wait here for a moment. I'll notify him immediately." The receptionist hurriedly rang a small bell to summon a staff.

The staff immediately came and after being told by the receptionist, he immediately went to the back to call the manager.

Soon a middle-aged man who was dressed quite luxuriously immediately came out. He also walked hurriedly to the receptionist and bowed down to Savra.

"Lady Savra, it's an honor to have you here. How can we assist you today?" The manager said while bowing down.

Savra only smirked and said, "I have something for the auction. They were also unique and I believe you will like it."

The manager then stood up and asked, "Unique? Are they Magma Essences that you usually sell?"

Savra only chuckled as she shook her head and soon gestured for the maids behind her to step forward and put down the cages.

"No, they are not Magma Essence but instead they are these beasts, which are Five 2-Star Ember Foxes. I believe you will like them." Savra said while smirking.

The manager then looked at the cages that were filled with the 2-Star Ember Foxes. They were not too rare and also not too powerful so the manager was a bit confused.

Savra remained calm after seeing the manager and folded her arms. "Check them yourself. I am sure that you will like them very much."

The manager then nodded as he took out his beast scanner. He then used it to scan the Ember Fox and when he looked at it, he was shocked.

"How the hell can this happen? How can a 2-Star beast have full D-Tier stats?" The manager said in shock as he looked back and forward between the scanner and the beast.

Without hesitation, he scanned the remaining four Ember Foxes. Each one displayed the same results: identical stats and power levels.

The manager, who was still in shock, turned to Savra and said, "Lady Savra, these beasts... just where did you find them? They are really extraordinary. All five of them have full D-Tier stats and they are still 2-Star beasts."

Savra smirked as he glared at the manager. "You can say that it is a secret of my family. All you need to know is that they're yours to auction. I trust you'll handle the sale perfectly."

The manager, who was excited, nodded quickly. "Of course, Lady Savra. I will make sure that they are the highlight of the next auction."

Savra smiled and turned around and soon left while saying. "As always, send my money to my house. I expect nothing less than you, okay."

The manager bowed deeply. "I will make sure that it will be done perfectly, Lady Savra. You have my word."

Savra, who heard it, smiled and left the auction house with her maids following behind her.

The manager who was left with the cage became excited and turned to his staff. "Listen carefully. These Ember Foxes are unlike anything we've sold before."

The manager then explained why they are special. "All of them are 2-Star beasts with perfect D-Tier stats. Handle them with extreme care and ensure they're ready for immediate auction."

The staff nodded and immediately moved to prepare the cages. The manager who looked at them immediately shouted.

"Move quickly. We don't have time to waste." The manager then adjusted his suit and went to the stage, saying, "I'll handle the auction personally. This isn't something to leave in inexperienced hands."

The auction hall was filled with a lot of people and all of them were famous people. However, only two figures stood out.

They were the Tavian Blazeheart, a young noble from the renowned Blazeheart family. The other one was Eric Morphane, an Evolist known for his arrogance and precise nature.

The auction had been proceeding smoothly until a sudden announcement interrupted the flow. A staff member stepped onto the stage, bowing slightly before addressing the crowd.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are sorry but we have a special addition to the auction. A newly acquired rare item will be auctioned immediately."

The room soon became noisy as a lot of people were talking about it. Eric also joined in as he sneered. "Changing the schedule mid-auction? What could be so important to make such a disruption?"

Tavian, who heard it, smirked as he was curious about it. "An unscheduled addition? They'd better have something worthwhile to justify this interruption."

Soon the auctioneer was changed and the manager came out as he began. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's not often that we have the privilege of presenting something truly extraordinary."

The manager then gestured for his staff to take out the item. The staff then began to take out a huge cage that was more than enough to house the Ember Foxes.

The manager stepped forward and placed his hand on the edge of the cage. Today, I bring you not one, but five beasts. They are so extraordinary that will shock you."

The manager then immediately took out his beast scanner. "Now, I invite you to use your beast scanners. See for yourselves what makes these Ember Foxes so extraordinary.

Eric, who heard it, raised his eyebrow and sneered. "Shock me? Really bold words from him. Let's see if you can back them up."

Tavian Blazeheart was amused when he heard it. "A bold claim: Let's see if they're foolish enough to exaggerate or clever enough to sell their beasts."

All of the people then immediately took out their beast scanners to see just what the manager meant about them being extraordinary.
