Bryson roared as he swung his claw down. He was aiming to crush Anthony where he kneeled.
Anthony frowed. He raised his golden claws to guard against the devastating strike, although they were still trembling under Bryson's pressuring aura.
Just as the claws were about to connect, Ragnar suddenly appeared between them. Ragnar easily caught Bryson's claws with his own.
Ragnar also didn't budge at all after receiving it. Instead, he smirked back as he tried to push back.
Karion, who was still lying on the ground, was shocked as he saw the one who blocked Bryson's attack. "Ragnar?! Where the hell have you been?"
Ragnar turned his head slightly and grinned when he glanced down at Karion. "Oh, I've been... busy, but it's good to see you lying there. I'd say you're enjoying a well-deserved rest."
Anthony, still catching his breath, looked up at Ragnar with relief. "Good, Ragnar! Thank you for saving me. Now, kill him for me!"
