Chapter 19 - Nix Becomes Diamond Ranks Beast

After Cain stepped back a few meters away from the Fire Blood Tree, the tree immediately disappeared and appeared in the middle of the forest inside his beast space.

His beast space looked more like a vast island, filled with mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, etc.

However, there were no living beings at all, as it looked like a place that hadn't been visited before—the literal definition of pure, beautiful nature in its own way.

Cain then made a projection inside his beast space and appeared in front of the tree.

His mid-level beast space, given by the system, was a special beast space as it had two main benefits that other beast masters' beast spaces didn't have.

The first and most important benefit was the flow of time. The time inside the beast space was 30x faster than the outside world.

So, if you spent 30 days inside his beast space, only 1 day had passed in the outside world.

This function would really come in handy, as he could utilize it and reap many benefits from it.

For example, he could use it as his backyard garden, like he did at the moment, by moving the tree into his beast space.

Since the fruits would be ripe in 40 days, with the tree being inside his beast space, the fruits would be ripe in one day and eight hours in the outside world's time.

He could also use it as a place for his subordinates or contracted beasts to train in the future since the flow of time here was faster than the outside world.

Of course, this would also affect their lifespan too. So, unless it was necessary for training purposes or something similar, Cain wouldn't let his subordinates stay here, as it could harm them instead.

The second benefit was accelerated recovery, which was 10x faster.

For example, if someone had an injury and needed to rest for 300 days to fully recover, they only needed to stay in the beast space for 30 days or 1 day in the outside world.

Subsequently, Cain withdrew his projection and saw that the ground had sunk a little bit as the tree had been uprooted by the system.

His attention then moved to the beast eggs on a haystack. He approached them and ordered the system to check if there was something special about them.

[Race: Fire Chicken]

[Attribute: High-level Fire Element]

[Qualifications: Lord]

[Race: Water Chicken]

[Attribute: High-level Water Element]

[Qualifications: Lord]

[Race: Half Fire and Water Chicken]

[Attributes: High-level Fire Element, High-level Water Element]

[Qualifications: GrandLord]

When Cain checked the information, he was surprised to find that one of the eggs had better qualifications compared to the others, even better than their parents. The Fire Rooster and Water Hen that Dante killed before only had Lord qualifications.

However, he suddenly remembered something and asked the system.

"System, shouldn't the dragons' qualifications be far higher than Lord Rank Beasts at the very least? Then why was Nix's qualification only at Lord Rank?"

Cain hadn't realized it at first, as he only compared it to his situation at the time, and it already seemed pretty good since the strongest person in the Elarion Kingdom was only at Lord Rank.

But he suddenly remembered that the dragons in his memory, from the novel he was in, were incredibly strong, considered one of the strongest races.

Let alone the fact that Nix's qualification was only at Lord Rank when Nix was a genuine Ice Dragon, which could also be considered one of the top subraces in the dragon races.

Meanwhile, Lord Rank was really weak, and dragons at the Lord Rank couldn't even be considered young dragons.

"Well, in a nutshell, the egg was infertile or flawed, resulting in a dragon that doesn't have the full potential of its kind. I can only give you that much information," the system replied.

'So that's how it is, huh? Well, there might be more to it than meets the eye, and it's not like I care about it anyway since I can continue upgrading Nix's rank by continuously evolving it later, even though it will be quite troublesome at that time,' Cain thought to himself and decided to forget about it.

"Wow, the eggs are really similar to chicken eggs, except for their sizes," Elara said excitedly.

"Will these eggs become as strong as the chickens that Dante killed just now?" Elara asked curiously, looking at Cain with an excited expression as if she had just found a treasure chest and became rich overnight.

"Of course, one of the eggs could even become stronger than their parents," Cain replied with a smile.

"Really? We're rich… We can auction them for a really high price or wait… We can even contract them ourselves and have another strong beast master in the future," Elara suggested as she took one of the eggs and hugged it cutely.

"Hahaha, don't think too much about them, as they really don't have much value to me right now," Cain said, patting her head softly.

After they chatted for a little while, Cain put the eggs into his inventory. He didn't want to place them in his beast space, as they would hatch faster there, and Cain preferred them to remain as eggs for now.

Subsequently, they waited for a bit, and only after confirming that no strong beasts had been attracted by the commotion of Dante's fight did Cain decide to upgrade Nix's rank before returning home.

He had fulfilled his main objective of watching Nix's fight and even experiencing his first battle—or more precisely, a one-sided battle since he didn't go all out by activating his bloodline power.

"Nix, I am going to upgrade your rank once again. Are you ready?" Cain asked as he hugged and petted Nix's head warmly.

Nix rubbed his head in response, as if to say, "I am ready, Master."

Cain then ordered the system to upgrade Nix's rank after stepping back to make room for him.

"System, upgrade Nix's rank to Diamond Rank Beast!"

[Ding! Do you want to upgrade Nix's rank to the Diamond Rank Beasts?]

"Just upgrade it. No need for such confirmation like this again in the future," Cain replied in an annoyed tone.
