As Lucien stepped into the dimly lit room a burly man could be seen seated at the table and the shadow casted by the dim light was covering his face giving him a somewhat scary look, his red glowing eyes shone in the darkness, he was dressed in a black and suit decorated with severa gold l medallions at the chest.
As Lucien approached him he could feel the pressure he was giving off and with the pressure increasing as he got closer he struggled to get closer. A look of surprise flashed across the Patriach's face . As Lucien normally would have collapsed under the pressure but now he was even advancing forward. He soon reached the front of the patriarch and greeted him with a bow according to the few memories he had received from this body. Lucien smiled in his mind as the patriarch was just like him in his previous lifelife,
Lucien stared at Van Ashford the patriarch of the Ashford family and his father he was hero of the Eldoria empire, he had single handedly pushed back the entire army of the salamander kingdom during Eldoria's rise along with the other heroes.
The patriarch gestured fro him to rise
"As the first son of the Ashford family you have the responsibility to administer part of the Ashford family territory just like your siblings. So I am going to be sending you to Thornbrook to administer there" The patriarch said as he continued to stare at Lucien and waiting for him to throw a trantrum.
But what happened next shocked him
" I understand Father "Lucien said with a bow
The patriarch was quick to regain his composure " You have a month to prepare" The Patriacg said before returning his gaze back to the documents on the table, taking that as his signal to leave Lucien bowed and went out of the room. After Lucien left only the patriarch was left alone in his study
"What do you think he is up to" The patriarch asked the room suddenly a shadow appeared in the room and gave a slight bow to the Patriarch
"Am not sure but his gaze seem different, it is like yours when you were his age " The shadow said as a terrifying smile appeared on the patriarch's face as he heard this
"Send someone to keep an eye on him" The patriarch said

Back to Lucien after he had left the Patriarch's Study he met Bourgh waiting for him and without wasting anytime, he immediately ordered him to lead the way to the library. This obviously stunned Bourgh as usually the young master at this time would head to a bar to drink himself away or to the brothel, or social gathering of spoilt young master like himself.
"Mmmm"
Lucien cleared his throat to wake up the stunned Bourgh. Bourgh immediately shook of his thought and lead Lucien to the library. After Lucien arrived he immediately took all the books that he could use to get information on where he was exactlyexactly. Lucien spent hours at the library and didn't exit the library until lat at night.
According to the information he had gathered he was In the continent of Arcadia, the continent of Arcadia consisted of many kingdoms and by far the most powerful was Olympia who was the largest empire in the Arcadia continent and Eldoria was just another medium sized country among hundreds on the continent. The power system in this world was greatly different from the one on his Tianxian continent and even after pouring over all the maps and books there was no mention of the Tianxian continent making him realise he might have being sent to another world. The power system in this world was divided into two.
The swordsman's path were warriors who wielded the sword and could use aura, there were nine ranks for a swords man and the highest rank swordsman in the Eldoria kingdom was the ninth ranked swordsman and were the heads of the major families of Eldoria. The second path was the path of a mage those who could wield magic but had weak physical strength compared to the warriors. They were so rare that only one in a million had the talent to become a mage. Mages were only present in large empires like Olympia or the mage tower a powerful organization like a sect in the Tianxian continent. The mage class were divided into nine ranks also and they were so powerful a fifth rank mage could defeat a seventh rank swordsman as far as he was in range. A single mage could single handedly destroy a small army
