Because of his injuries, Ashiu was taken by Wutong for treatment.

Noah only later learned why Ash ended up like this. After Noah had overtaken Ash and Hoft, Ash suddenly became violent, exhausting all his strength to kill Hoft within ten seconds. Dragging his severely injured body, he managed to reach the finish line before the others could catch up.

"Although you have passed the test, you are still unqualified as trainee butlers for the Zoldyck family. You have one month to prove yourselves. After one month, the two of you will have to face the remaining five. Kill them or let them kill you."

Now back in the wooden house, lying on his bed, Wutong's words echoed in Noah's ears.

"Face the other five people? The butler for the Zoldyck family really isn't lenient, and this is just for trainees."

Noah put his hands behind his head, his azure eyes fixed on the ceiling, lost in thought.

"But I can't give up. Even if I could leave now, where would I go? Find a place to live out there?"

As he thought, Noah suddenly sat up, walked to the window, and stared at the bright moon in the unfamiliar sky.

Master always said that the only way to grow stronger is to keep moving forward. Going backward is an insult to oneself.

The rules of the Zoldyck family are brutal, but they fit the survival of the fittest. Moreover, here, there is a chance to learn nen.

Thinking about nen in the Hunter World, Noah clenched his fists, a spark of excitement in his eyes.

"I wonder if nen connects with what I've learned."

Standing in front of the window, bathed in moonlight, Noah seemed to have a faint aura rising around him.

The next day, Noah rose at 7:00 a.m. and began his training.

Wutong had given him a month and placed him in this wooden house, but beyond that, there were no instructions. However, Noah understood Wutong's intention. Everything in this wooden house, from doors and windows to chairs, cups, and kettles, was "heavyweight." Compared to what regular people use, these daily items were at least ten times heavier.

Additionally, the warehouse stored weighted vests, boots, and wrist guards.

"In other words, living here means you're doing weight training all day long." After finishing breakfast from the refrigerator, Noah patted the black weighted vest he wore, which gave off a heavy thud.

"Then again, my luck is pretty good. This body is in perfect shape, young and full of potential. With this foundation and Qi refining, I wonder what results I'll see."

Noah walked out the door and began jogging around the wooden house.

Although Wutong gave no direct instructions, Noah could guess his purpose. It was a test. With enough food and equipment, could Noah improve his strength within a month to handle five opponents?

For the eight people who entered the butler assessment, their strengths might vary, but not drastically. To face multiple enemies, he would have to increase his strength.

For an ordinary person in Noah's position, facing five equally strong people in just a month would be near impossible without a systematic approach.

Jogging, weightlifting, chopping wood, balance exercises…

Night eventually fell.

Noah walked from the bathroom, shirtless, back to his room.

After a day of intense exercise, his muscles groaned, every part of his body urging him to rest.

Ignoring the messages of exhaustion, Noah sat cross-legged on the bed, closing his eyes.

Long, steady breaths flowed from his nose.

Ten seconds later, Noah's breathing became regular. At the same time, a faint mist emerged from his mouth and nose. Each breath released a slight mist that lingered around his head like a cloud.

White gas also gradually emanated from Noah's skin, encasing him in a mist that made his figure hazy.

In preparation for the final test a month from now, Noah knew he would pass. His confidence stemmed from what he was doing now.

This was his secret weapon—a technique called "Qi Refining."

High-intensity training puts the body into an overloaded state, awakening a unique characteristic known as "spiritual sense." This sense rejuvenates the body, expelling impurities and fatigue. This is the "refining" technique Noah had mastered.

After each session of Qi refining, his strength, coordination, reflexes, and muscle control significantly improved.

As morning light spilled through the window, the white mist around Noah faded.

Noah slowly opened his eyes, a spark flashing through his blue pupils. Though he hadn't slept, he felt more refreshed than if he had.

After a night of Qi refining, his exhaustion had vanished, replaced by a powerful energy.

Squeezing his fists and feeling the changes in his body, Noah couldn't help but smile with excitement.

"This works! And the base potential of this body is beyond what I imagined. If this continues, I could reach mastery."

Donning the weighted vest by his bed, Noah stepped outside the wooden house to start another day of running.

"If I remember correctly, nen in the Hunter World manifests through aura. Is it at all similar to what I know?"

As he ran, Noah pondered nen abilities, a thought occurring to him.

"Could nen resemble what I've learned? To find out, I'll need to learn nen, and becoming a butler for the Zoldyck family is the most convenient way."

"I must pass the test a month from now and become a trainee butler for the Zoldyck family!"

With that thought, Noah's dedication to his training grew stronger.
