Indeed.
The archer understood the tier of her Devil Fruit. Luffy continued, "But… if you were just a simple soldier, that power would be more than enough."
He paused and added, "If it could be mass-produced, that would be incredible."
The room fell silent in astonishment.
"Mass production? Of Devil Fruits?" they whispered. Who in this world could accomplish such a feat?
"Oh, right! Kaido can," someone remembered. Kaido's fruit was artificially created, but it had a high number of failures and side effects, limiting the abilities of his troops. They were all Zoan types, but they were still suitable for creating a fearsome beast army.
"Luffy-sama! Are you saying you could mass-produce them?" the archer beauty asked, her expression a mixture of awe and disbelief. It felt like a dream.
Luffy nodded firmly, "Yes! I can mass-produce them!"
His declaration ignited a wave of chatter among the group. "What?! Luffy-sama, are you serious? Mass-producing Devil Fruits? And… it's the Arrow Arrow Fruit, right?"
Luffy nodded again, confirming her guess.
"Unbelievable! How could anyone achieve such a thing?" Lori exclaimed, though she quickly thought about Luffy and found it plausible. "Well, that is Luffy-sama. Nothing is strange when it comes to him."
Emily chimed in, "No way! I don't believe it. Luffy-sama, make one for me! I want to eat it!"
She said it jokingly, not expecting Luffy to take her seriously, but he replied, "Yes! I thought about it after noticing you felt inadequate and worried you were holding everyone back."
He continued, "This way, people can harness the power of Devil Fruits to enhance their overall strength. Imagine building an army that can conquer the world!"
His words were clear and straightforward. Emily stood frozen, stunned, while the others were left in shock.
Hancock remarked, "How is that even possible? I've seen a lot in my life, but this… you can't be serious."
The crowd echoed her disbelief. "Right! Luffy-sama, while we may be inexperienced, we have some common sense. What you're saying is simply outrageous," they nodded, even as a part of them found themselves believing it.
Luffy laughed heartily, sensing the mix of doubt and belief. In fact, he had already contemplated similar ideas. Recently, he had been observing the Devil Fruits and noticed the waves of consciousness associated with them, which could be replicated.
Though difficult, Luffy was confident. The complexity of a Devil Fruit varied, and some were easier to replicate than others. He dismissed the idea of copying Hancock's Sweet Fruit due to its intricacy, but he felt he could replicate the Arrow Arrow Fruit.
Without saying much more, he got to work.
"Huh?" The archer beauty's expression shifted as she felt something entering her consciousness. Her head felt tingly and slightly uncomfortable.
"Stay calm," Luffy instructed. "Don't resist. Just relax and enjoy the process."
She nodded, agreeing to follow his lead. Luffy patiently controlled the flow of energy, knowing this was a complex operation that required cooperation. If it went awry, it could lead to a disastrous outcome.
As he focused, his Conqueror's Haki enveloped them, allowing him to slowly read the fruit's form like a complex brainwave pattern. Inside was a chaotic array of energy, but it didn't daunt him.
As Luffy continued to delve deeper, he closed his eyes, reaching for a banana on the table with one hand, cradling it gently.
As time passed, everyone noticed the banana slowly developing intricate patterns on its skin.
"What?" someone gasped. "That's… a Devil Fruit!"
Indeed, the banana had transformed into a complex fruit filled with magical designs, signifying it was now a genuine Devil Fruit.
"No way." Hancock shook her head repeatedly, refusing to accept the impossibility of what she was witnessing. She was the powerful Pirate Empress, a member of the Warlords of the Sea, and had seen everything imaginable. How could Luffy do something like this?
"I don't believe it," Hancock insisted, her eyes wide in disbelief as her understanding of reality was being shattered.
But as the patterns on the banana became more distinct, even Hancock and the others began to believe. Everyone stood in awe, convinced of Luffy's extraordinary ability.
The banana in Luffy's hand was undoubtedly a Devil Fruit. There was no need to look closely or think twice about it.
"Wow!" Emily moved a bit closer, her big eyes sparkling with excitement as she watched intently.
Once Luffy completed his work, he slowly handed the intricately patterned banana to the astonished girl.
"Is this really happening?" Her expression was one of shock, as if she were dreaming.
Luffy nodded, "Hurry up and eat it! Or else I'll give it to someone else."
Without another word, she quickly took a bite.
"Pop!"
In an instant, she devoured the banana enveloped in mystical patterns. After a few moments, her eyes widened in surprise as she sensed something stirring within her.
Suddenly, she grabbed a bow and arrow that had been prepared beforehand, nocked an arrow, and released it.
"Whoosh!"
The arrow zipped through the air and struck a fly, exploding it on impact. The scene mirrored previous moments perfectly, as if it were a direct copy.
The crowd fell silent, each person dumbfounded, watching as if they were frozen in time. Luffy burst into laughter, relishing the moment.
"Everyone!" he exclaimed, "What do you think? I kept my promise!"
His simple words left everyone convinced.
Hancock asked incredulously, "How on earth did you do that? I can hardly believe it!"
The others shared similar feelings of disbelief. Luffy waved them off, saying, "It's nothing special. I'm Luffy! In this world, there's nothing I can't achieve."
"With me around, you can all relax and enjoy yourselves. Cheers!" He raised a glass of red wine, and the others quickly returned the gesture. Luffy took a sip while everyone drank in excess.
Suddenly, Luffy sensed a shift within himself. "Hmm? My Conqueror's Haki seems to be stirring. That means I've hit a plateau with the girls, but I still have much to learn in mastering Haki."
He realized that the key to growth lay in continually experiencing new things.
Luffy laughed heartily, his spirits lifted. "Come on, Hancock! Let's put on a show!"
Confused, Hancock asked, "What kind of show?"
Luffy replied directly, "Your dance moves are even more mesmerizing now! Let them witness your rhythm!"
Before she could react, Luffy waved his hand, causing Hancock's outer garments to vanish.
"Hancock, don't be shy! There's no one else around. I'm in a great mood, so let's make it an explosive performance!"
The crowd erupted in excitement.
"Your Majesty!" someone shouted. "Luffy-sama! We want to see! We want to seel!"
"Your Majesty! You are our inspiration!" said Lori. "Luffy-sama! You are our iron pillar!"
Some in the crowd seemed confused. "Iron pillar? What does that mean? Can someone explain?"
Loli stuck out her tongue and said, "Luffy-sama always says that with enough effort, even an iron rod can be ground down to a needle."
After a moment of thought, everyone understood.
"Hahaha! Luffy-sama! You are our iron pillar! Your Majesty! You are our role model! You must lead us to sharpen those needles quickly!"
The crowd cheered enthusiastically, creating a lively atmosphere.
Hancock realized that she needed to maintain her dignified image. She stepped up onto the table and proclaimed, "Let's celebrate together! Experience the over three hundred rhythms!"
Luffy laughed, "Three hundred? That's nothing! My potential is limitless!"
He quickly climbed onto the table, and thus, a sensational performance—a grand feast—was set to begin.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, two ships came together. A man stepped onto the other vessel where another man awaited him.
"Shanks," Rayleigh said, "It's been a while."
"Yeah," Shanks replied, nodding calmly as he gazed at the old vice-captain for a moment. "Alright. Let's go. We need to check on Luffy."
