In the mystifying expanse of the Wyvern Woods, a lake lay in tranquility.
Surrounded by a pitch of tasteful flora, it remained serene, refusing to curb to the will of passing winds.
Above it was a waterfall which seemed to be the supply of the lake's clear water. The cascade released large torrents of water with every passing moment, but the lake never seemed to overflow. Its capacity remained regardless.
On its surface was a hazy reflection of the sun, it shimmered from time-to-time but never vanished. Like it was frozen in time.
The lake's surface which seemed clear and tranquil, held one incongruity though.
No one could see what was beneath it.
The surface only reflected what reached it but never revealed what resided in it; begging the question...
What was inside the seemingly peaceful lake?
The answer to that question is...

"WOO~!"
Eni, Marilyn, Remi and some other girls along with Lil David squealed in excitement. We had just stepped out of Dola's minivan upon arriving at his dad's resort.
"Tch..."
"What a beta..."
The boys looked at Lil David in disdain. He had gone ahead and diminished his already nonexistent aura.
I looked at him in amusement before turning to look at the large building before us. Strangely enough, the resort had its large hotel obstruct the view of its large beach. So, I couldn't see the water.

I frowned, now that I thought of it, I couldn't recall drinking any during the trip.

Before I could finish my thoughts, someone interrupted me.
"Come on Dave! Let's go!"
I looked at the source and smiled.
"Kansola...you really don't need to be too loud...", I said as I playfully covered my ears.
She heaved a sigh and shook her head, turning to walk towards the hotel but she stopped.
She seemed a little bit shaken and slowly turned to me.
"Hmm...what's wrong?", I asked in a worried tone.
"Umm...Dave...", she muttered before taking a deep breath and then spinning energetically. A small smile was present on her face as she said, "So... what do you think?"
Kansola was dressed in a flowy cyan dress adorned with designs of abstract flowers. The dress didn't cover her arms so they were left bare in their beauty and the hem of the dress reached slightly below her thigh, revealing her alluring legs underneath.
The dress itself seemed to hug her curves nicely, accentuating her lovely figure.
Contrary to her graceful dress and figure, Kansola herself seemed uneasy.
Her legs seemed shaky, her fingers twirled the fallen strands of her hair and her eyes darted around. It was clear from her demeanor; she was seeking validation.

I frowned a little, who is 'him'?
"D-dave?", Kansola's words snapped me out of my trance.
Immediately, I smiled and then said, "You look lovely, Kansola."
A smile made its way to her face and her expression gradually softened.
"Oh...Dave..."
A peaceful silence settled between us as we stared at each other not until someone broke the silence.
"Whew...is it me or is it getting hot in here?"
I snapped my head to the source of the voice, at the end of my line of sight, I saw Remi fanning her cheeks and the other girls giggling.
Immediately, a furious red blush spread across my face as I tried to look away.

"Take a look at him, blushing like an idiot."

The boys shook their heads at me before walking off.
"Those bastards..."
I watched them walking into the hotel's entrance before exhaling.

"CHEERS!"
My classmates and I exclaimed as we clinked our glass cups filled with orange juice. Bright smiles spread across our faces as we all sat around a large round table, adorned with several delicacies from all around the world.
I stared at all the dishes and begun to salivate.
Tsk...its just food...I can't be caught lacking...
At that thought, I regained composure and then took a sip of the orange juice.
So tasty...
I swallowed the liquid down my throat, savoring the taste before dropping my cup down on the table.
I had my eyes closed before I slowly opened them and said, "Now...who's going to eat first?"
As I glanced around, I found out that I wasn't the only one salivating, my classmates as well were all craving for the food, well except for Dola.
He probably eats this kind of food all the time...
Even though everyone was craving, no one had picked up their spoons.
"Why don't you go first Dave?", I heard Ola speak from a corner of the table.
I narrowed my eyes at him and took the philosopher's pose, "Why's that?"
"Well, you asked us first so you should go...", he said with a coy smile.
I looked at him then next to him; there was no woman.
Hehehe...he's still single even after we've graduated...
"No bitches huh...", I said with a grin.
Ola's eyes popped open in shock and he momentarily fumbled.
The boys on the table let out an 'Oh shit! He said it!'
"You!", he growled in anger.
A smirk made its way to my face.

Once again, my thoughts were interrupted by Kansola.
"Now! now! Boys let's not fight.", she said flashing me a smile that said, 'Shut up and eat'.
I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah...just eat.", Zara said, before digging in.
Soon, we all followed suite and feasted.
"TOO BLISSFUL LIVES AHEAD!", Dola roared as he raised his cup, he pulled Remi close to him by the waist before kissing her deeply.
"WOO!"
We cheered for them as they kissed. Some other of my classmates kissed as well, out of the corner of my eye I noticed Seba sitting alone with a wistful smile.
Did he not bring anyone?

As I racked my brain for his partner's name, someone tugged on my shirt.
I turned around and was met with a passionate kiss.
Kansola crashed her lips against mine while wrapping her hands around my neck. My hands soon snaked up her waist and pulled her closer, her tongue melting into mine.
We remained in that position for a long time before pulling away for air. Panting heavily, I turned to Kansola who glanced at me, her eyes betraying a hint of seduction.
She grabbed my hands and pulled me away from the crowd. I followed her obediently and soon we found our way into my reserved room.
Immediately, after locking the door behind me, I continued from where we left off.
We kissed again but this time, deeper than before. Holding her waist and nape, I explored every bit of her mouth with my tongue. A hunger I never knew I had, ignited from the depths of my soul as I made off with her.
Without thinking, I pushed her until her legs buckled against the bed, causing her to fall into the embrace of the white sheets. My body which was atop her seemed like a cage that had trapped an untainted maiden, she squirmed slightly when she saw the hungry look in my eyes.

It was like a burden was lifted off my mind.
