Chapter 1 - Morning Melody and Midnight Shadows

In the peaceful Human Kingdom, morning sunlight filled the park, where Leo DeGrace played his violin. His music was soft and calming, a melody that blended perfectly with the quiet of early Sunday. Leo had no magic, unlike everyone else in the kingdom. Magic was normal here, something nearly every person used as naturally as breathing. But Leo was different—he had no magical powers at all.

Despite this, Leo was far from ordinary. He was smart, strong, and skilled, always two steps ahead. Though he lacked magic, people respected him. Leo's family, the DeGraces, was well-known and wealthy, and his aunt, Luna, had raised him after his parents left him when he was just a baby. She was strict but kind and always believed in him. Luna had never spoken much about his parents, and Leo didn't feel the need to ask.

Luna sat inside their grand mansion, listening to his music from the dining hall with a smile. She sipped her coffee and glanced through a book, feeling proud of him. The mansion was lavish, decorated with expensive furniture, glittering chandeliers, and every luxury you could imagine.

When Leo finished playing, he joined her for breakfast, and they sat together at a table filled with silver dishes and fine foods. "That was beautiful, Leo," Luna said, smiling at him. "You have a real gift for music."

"Thanks, Aunt Luna," he replied, setting his violin aside. "It's relaxing."

After breakfast, Luna reminded him of the day's big event. "Remember, today is your University ceremony," she said. "It's a fresh start, Leo. I know you're excited."

Leo nodded. He was about to attend Lucus University of Knowledge, the most prestigious school in the Human Kingdom. He had always dreamed of studying there and learning more, aiming to become someone important despite his lack of magic.

Meanwhile, in the Vampire Nation

Far from the Human Kingdom, where the sun shone brightly, the Vampire Nation lay under a dark, cloudy sky. Daylight was weak here, and rivers flowed with a strange, blood-red color. The buildings looked old and gothic, tall and dark, giving the land an eerie vibe.

The capital, Valentine Vile, was always busy, with lower-level vampires filling the narrow streets of Rudolf Square. These were vampires who didn't hold much power, but they were ruthless and cunning.

That night, a lone and Deadly figure darted through the streets of Rudolf Square , moving quickly and constantly looking over his Prey . A Random Person was being chased By it , and he was terrified. The thing following him was barely visible, moving like a shadow through the misty streets, silent but relentless.

He ran, heart pounding, gripping the hilt of a hidden weapon in his pocket. The weapon was special, made from blue diamond—a rare material found only in the Human Kingdom. He had no idea how his pursuer got it, but he knew he was in serious danger.

After an hour of running, he couldn't go any further. Out of breath, he stumbled and fell, looking back in fear. Finally, he could see the figure approaching—a dark figure cloaked in shadows, with a faint blue glow from the diamond weapon.

The figure moved closer, quiet and calm, as if enjoying the hunt. In the silence of the square, the stranger let out a final scream, and the sound echoed through the narrow streets. But when nearby vampires peeked out of their homes, there was no one to be found. It was as if the two had simply vanished into thin air.

Back in the Human Kingdom

Leo was getting ready for his ceremony. He put on his best clothes and looked at himself in the mirror. His future at Lucus University was all he could think about, and he felt prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead. He had no magic, but he had his intelligence, strength, and determination.

As he stepped into the carriage waiting outside, Luna waved from the doorway, smiling with pride. "You're ready, Leo. Go make the DeGrace name proud."

"I will, Aunt Luna," he replied, waving back.

What Leo didn't know was that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't imagine. The ceremony at Lucus University would not be the start he expected. Instead, it would lead him far from his home, into the mysterious Vampire Nation, where shadows waited, and his courage would be tested like never before.
