Shinji Akagi couldn't contain his excitement as he heard the notification from his system. *Every true transmigrator ought to have a "golden finger" ability!*
After a strange accident, Shinji found himself transported to a cultic ritual held by the Evil God Sect. Not only did he survive, gaining an incomplete form of immortality, but he also managed to activate his system.
That system, however, was a tad eccentric.
His activation requirement? To be cursed at least once.
If it hadn't been for the Evil God's curse during the ritual, his system might've stayed locked forever. Of course, he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth—even one as bizarre as this.
So long as he didn't have to jump through needless hoops, he would make use of the system's perks without questions.
"System, show me my profile."

When Shinji first got this mission, he'd actually attempted to befriend Hidan. After all, without knowledge of the *Death Controlling Possessed Blood* technique's weaknesses, Hidan's capabilities bordered on overpowered.
Hidan's curse-based powers meant that any skilled opponent could fall to him if they slipped up, regardless of their rank. From the moment he learned *Death Controlling Possessed Blood*, he was a force to be reckoned with.
Who wouldn't want an immortal ally like that?
Unfortunately, Hidan's mouthiness made bonding difficult. And Shinji, of course, wasn't about to beg for friendship. Any attempts at friendly conversation inevitably turned into sparring matches.
"System, you've got to be kidding me." Shinji sneered as he re-read the mission's notes. *Brother's a jerk to me a hundred times, yet my loyalty endures?*
Fine, he'd give Hidan that undying "brotherly love"—only in reverse.
To tame Hidan's unruly character, he'd resort to every trick in the book. If *that* didn't yield 500 bond points, nothing would.
With a grin, Shinji made up his mind. Like the famous brotherly duo from the Leaf Village, he'd turn Hidan into his perfect sparring partner.
He thought back to the past month. Through trial and error, he'd already figured out ways to trigger Hidan without putting himself at risk. At this pace, his bond would deepen in no time.
For now, however, Shinji focused on the system's new "Red Blood Manipulation" technique—the only technique he had at the moment.
In essence, a curse technique harnessed power from the bloodline and psyche of the wielder, activated through a specialized energy called "curse power." Curse power itself stemmed from negative human emotions, which the technique channeled into reality-bending effects.
In this world, he'd have to harness it much like chakra, by turning his internal energy into a weapon.
*Death Controlling Possessed Blood* was an obvious example of this kind of curse-based technique. Shinji's *Red Blood Manipulation* held a similar deadly potential.
Based on the knowledge he'd gained from the system, *Red Blood Manipulation* was one of the most revered techniques in the Gojo Family's rival clan. Though not as celebrated as other clan techniques, it offered Shinji a much-needed survival edge.
The allure of his new technique only added to his excitement. With this, he finally had some means of defense in a world filled with highly skilled shinobi.
