Eleanor Relish didn't have a good relationship with her father, Duke Relish Adryce, she believed her father resented her for killing his beloved wife ( Eleanor's mother Diana ) the day she was born, as she had immense mana and her mother couldn't bear the mana rush during the child birth and took her last breath smiling at Eleanor and handing her over to her husband saying " Look after her, she has the same eyes as you....those ruby eyes which I fell in love with. From that day on Eleanor grew without the affection of her father who was busy protecting the people of his territory by indulging himself in expeditions of dangerous magical creatures. She confined herself in the mansion until she reached adulthood without manifesting her magic because she was afraid that if she used magic she would loose someone precious in her life again. She was the most beautiful young lady with long black wavy hair like her mother and ruby eyes... . The Duke return after his long expeditions to be present at his daughter's wedding. The moment the Duke entered the royal capital he was guillotined on the charges of committing treason against the royal family. On hearing the news Eleanor rushed to the royal palace but what awaited her was kaelen indulging himself in adultery with multiple women and her being imprisoned by him. Her mana core was destroyed by the dark mages of Kaelen so that she wouldn't use magic.
She became a lifeless soul but after about two weeks in the prison a man appeared wearing a clock and slaughtered the knights who were keeping guard in front of the prison in which Eleanor was being held in and he address himself as the right man of her father, she was about to flee from the prison with the man when the Emperor Kaelen with his dark mages appeared.
Eleanor couldn't do anything against them but the man ( her father's right hand ) fought against them with his exceptional swordmanship. But the dark mages outnumber him, he was losing the battle and getting heavily injured when suddenly Kaelen suddenly stabbed Eleanor, she gasped and asked Kaelen why he did this to her to which he replied, " You were the stupid one to think that I would fall for someone like you! My father never intended to give me the throne even if I was the Crown Prince he always wanted to pass on the throne to my second brother who was an illegitimate just because he was fit to rule the people. I just used your power to gain the people's recognition and killed my father and pushed the blame on your father. But your magical power became a threat to my position, people started recognising you more than me and since you saw me committing adultery I had no choice but to eliminate you. "
