Chapter 6 - Real Dreams

Li Ming was like a giant sitting cross-legged in the vast universe, and the earth was just a basketball-sized planet that was slowly rotating in front of Li Ming's eyes. Li Ming looked at the earth's every move from the perspective of space, which was magical and wonderful.

Apart from the ocean, there is land. At this moment, the earth and human beings are so small compared to the universe.

Just like a grain of sand in the desert, its appearance and disappearance has no effect on the existence of the desert.

Li Ming gently turned his head, his eyes looked around, and he couldn't help but open his mouth. The planets were rotating around Li Ming. Li Ming was like the center of the galaxy, surrounded by these planets. Watching the planets slowly rotating around him, the shocking beauty and immersive feeling made people intoxicated and obsessed, unable to extricate themselves.

Li Ming's eyes looked here and there. Each planet had different places and different colors. These were formed by the planet's own materials, but they were not unique in the universe.

Not only is it not unique, there may be countless ones that are similar or even almost identical to it.

Li Ming loves the starry sky and is full of endless curiosity about the astronomical universe. The unknown mystery makes people yearn for it.

Li Ming was already immersed in this beautiful illusion, but the planets around him suddenly approached Li Ming quickly, as if Li Ming himself suddenly generated some gravity. Li Ming tried to raise his hand gently to touch one of the planets, but with just a light touch of his finger, he actually penetrated directly into the planet, as if the planet itself was a virtual illusion. Li Ming waved his palm slightly again, and actually passed directly through the planet, as if these planets were just phantoms, a light curtain, a projection, an illusion, which could be seen but not touched.

Is this... a dream? Am I dreaming? Yes, it must be.

Even though he knew it was a dream, Li Ming still felt it was the most wonderful dream, but it was very real.

While these planets were revolving around Li Ming, they continued to approach Li Ming's head. As soon as one of the planets approached Li Ming's head, it was like a stone slowly falling into the water. After a few ripples, it sank directly into Li Ming's brain and disappeared.

"ah..."

A feeling of pain came over him, and Li Ming couldn't help but let out a cry of pain, as if someone had forcibly put something into his head.

Isn't this a dream? Why is it so painful?!

The planets moved one after another, even the earth in front of him moved over. The inexplicable pain made Li Ming want to resist and get rid of it, but his body could not move at all. He could only let these things enter his brain.

Every time a planet entered, Li Ming would feel a sharp pain. After entering the brain, the planets seemed to transform into pieces of information and knowledge, constantly filling the space in the brain.

All of a sudden, I understood a lot of incomprehensible information that suddenly popped up: civilization, nebula power, advancement, life, just like a printer printing something randomly line by line.

Everything ended only when the earth in front of my eyes entered my brain. The information in my brain was fermenting rapidly. The information had just entered my brain, but it seemed as if I had known it since I was a child.

Just like an ordinary person can remember the multiplication table, it is completely imprinted in the brain and jumps out naturally and instinctively.

What's going on? It feels like a dream, but it's so real. There are suddenly many more things in my memory. It's strange. Why?

"ah!"

With a cry of surprise, Li Ming suddenly sat up from the bed, opened his eyes and slowly closed them again, feeling waves of severe pain in his head.

"My head hurts..." Li Ming whispered to himself.

After being in a daze for a while, he picked up the phone next to him and pressed a few buttons at random, but there was no response. It was simply out of battery and turned off.

Throwing the phone aside, the sunlight was already shining in through the window. Looking at the tall buildings outside the window, Li Ming suddenly felt a vibration in his head, as if there was a vibrating device in his head. The vibration made Li Ming feel dizzy and he almost fainted.

"Absorb energy, look for power from other nebulae, advance..." Some inexplicable words suddenly came out of Li Ming's mouth.

"What? What did I just say?" Li Ming was confused. He shook his head vigorously and quickly got out of bed.

Coming to the bathroom and turning on the faucet, Li Ming used both hands to catch the cold water and then poured it directly on his face. He repeatedly washed his face with the cold water and then looked at himself in the mirror. There was nothing unusual, but he suddenly spoke: "They are near me, I want to find them..."

Another inexplicable sentence came out of his mouth. Li Ming looked at himself in the mirror intently and couldn't help but mutter to himself: "Fuck, what did I just say?"

Li Ming rubbed his face with both hands, then took out the towel and wiped it clean.

The strange words just now were said very clearly, but Li Ming didn't know what they meant. He just felt that he seemed to have said them a long time ago, and he still had this impression in his mind.

Li Ming thought over and over again, and the information in his mind was popping up quickly. That sentence was not said for no reason, because he had thought of it in his head before he said it, but why did he say such a strange thing.

"What's going on?" Li Ming said secretly, as if he remembered something in his mind.

Li Ming quickly came to the living room and searched for something in the drawer under the coffee table, a diary and a pen. He took them to the coffee table, opened the diary, picked up the pen, and quickly wrote down whatever he thought of and said in the diary.

"I am a life form from an advanced civilization in outer space. You have devoured my [Nebula Power]. Please give it back to me, please give it back to me..."

What he thought in his mind and wrote with his hands, when he finished writing this paragraph, it seemed as if someone was talking to Li Ming. Looking at the words he wrote, a lot of information flooded Li Ming's mind again.

Li Ming immediately wrote it down again, looking at it as he wrote. The information in his mind was exactly what he had written, but he would understand and interpret it after writing it down. This way of memorizing allowed Li Ming to sort out the complex information.

There were even some strange perspectives in Li Ming's memory: flying quickly in space, entering the Earth's atmosphere, and finally falling off from the flying object, and then entering the mouth of a certain creature...

All this accumulated information popped out of his mind bit by bit, and those scenes made Li Ming feel the same way, as if he had experienced them himself.

One-sided pictures, complex information, writing, wanting to see, looking, are like pieces of a huge puzzle, and you just need to record these pieces first.

"ah..."

Feeling a headache again, Li Ming was somewhat unable to control his body, and the hand that was writing was shaking slightly. As Li Ming looked at it, the hand couldn't help but continue writing, and information in his mind appeared rapidly, sometimes it was a familiar picture, and sometimes it was some strange information that he had known before. On one hand, he felt as if he had never done this before, and had never seen such information, but on the other hand, this information kept popping up.

There seem to be two conflicting and different memories deep in the brain, one is my own, and the other seems to have appeared suddenly. It is obviously not myself, but it feels like I have experienced it myself.

He recorded the familiar yet unfamiliar images in his mind in words, and wrote down the strange information that emerged in his mind with the pen in his hand, one by one, and again and again. The pen in Li Ming's hand was like a typewriter, writing one line after another.

When a sheet of paper is full, turn it over and continue writing, separating each different piece of information that cannot be connected to each other with different pieces of paper.

Li Ming had forgotten his surroundings and had no sense of time. He even felt that he was not at home, but in the strange dream of last night.

Except for Li Ming and the coffee table, the surrounding environment was exactly the picture in Li Ming's mind. Sometimes a strange planet appeared, and sometimes some strange pictures appeared, as if traveling through time and space, changing constantly.

Before I knew it, a thick diary was already filled up.

After recording these things, Li Ming felt a lot more relaxed. Looking at the diary on the table, new information continued to pop up in Li Ming's mind. However, Li Ming did not continue writing. Instead, he tore off what he had just written from the diary page by page.

Li Ming spread the torn pages flat on the floor. The entire day's diary contents covered the entire floor. He looked at the large piece of paper in front of him, and then continued to recall the images and information in his mind.

What Li Ming has to do is to classify and sort this information.

It is very difficult to organize sudden and complex information, which requires analysis, recollection, and judgment. Li Ming moved the papers on the floor back and forth, taking them to the other side and then taking them back again.

Being so busy, time passed by little by little, and before I knew it, morning had turned into noon.

He did not feel hungry or tired at all, only had an occasional headache. Li Ming was either thinking or moving papers on the ground. Sometimes he was kneeling on the ground, sometimes he was lying down, and sometimes he would mark the order on the paper with a pen.

The sun went from being high in the sky at noon to setting in the west, and the sky gradually darkened. At this time, Li Ming already had some clues. The papers on the ground were divided into two groups in an orderly manner, and each sheet in each group had its own sequential number.

However, there are many forks at the numbered positions, which are caused by modifications after each incorrect marking.

Li Ming stood up and turned on the light in the room. He looked at the two pieces of paper on the ground and couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief: "That should be it... That's right."

Li Ming put the sorted papers away in order and numbered them, then began to read them carefully.

It was as if a corner of a huge puzzle had been pieced together. These fragments of memory that suddenly popped into my mind began to make sense after being sorted out.

After the information was reorganized by grouping and numbering, it began to become clear. Some vivid information appeared in Li Ming's eyes. Looking at this information, Li Ming's face kept changing, surprised, curious, incredible...
