Meeting Mira and Eldric:
Word spreads of the strange occurrences and good fortune in Rean's village, eventually attracting outsiders. One such visitor is Mira, a skilled swordswoman wandering in search of purpose. Another is Eldric, a young rogue magician, whose motives seem dubious. Mira's keen senses quickly detect that Rean is hiding something extraordinary, while Eldric, equally curious, senses a hidden reservoir of power within him. Despite their suspicions, Rean's kindness and humble attitude convince them to form a tenuous alliance, and they join him on a journey to a neighboring town suffering under a corrupt noble's rule. While traveling through the eerie Darkwood Forest, they encounter bandits, dangerous wildlife, and cursed spirits. When a powerful shadow beast ambushes them, Rean's instincts take over, and he unleashes a spell that disintegrates the creature in seconds. Both Mira and Eldric are stunned by the sheer power they witness. Mira, impressed, confronts Rean and presses him to reveal the truth about his abilities. Rean reluctantly explains that he's not from their world, hinting at his mysterious origins and promising to tell them more one day.
Despite this revelation, Rean remains cautious, aware that his powers are growing, but knowing he's still vulnerable to the greater forces in the kingdom. Mira and Eldric pledge loyalty, forming a close-knit trio whose combined strengths make them a formidable team. Through their journey, Rean realizes his purpose may extend beyond the village, and his presence in this world may have a deeper significance than mere reincarnation.
Meanwhile, the corrupt noble they set out to confront hears of their activities and, fearing rebellion, dispatches soldiers to capture them. Rean and his companions face off with the soldiers, displaying powers and skills that defy the kingdom's understanding of magic and combat. Eldric uses his cunning to manipulate the soldiers, while Mira's swordsmanship is unmatched. Rean holds back his full abilities, but even in restraint, he overwhelms the noble's forces, securing victory.
As Rean frees the oppressed villagers and confronts the noble, he begins to question the hierarchy that allows such tyranny. Word of his exploits spreads, catching the attention of both allies and enemies. While some see him as a hero, others, especially the royal family, see him as a threat to the kingdom's stability.
