Two weeks have passed, and Maya has fully recovered. Color has returned to her cheeks, and she is now completely healthy and agile.
"You are glowing this morning, Maya," Nana Rose shot at her.
Maya was at the dining table, reading a food magazine to keep herself occupied because she was feeling pretty bored.
"That means I'm perfectly healthy, so you can convince Oliver that I don't need to rest anymore." Oliver assigned Nana Rose to keep an eye on her.
Nana Rose handed Maya the medication prescribed for her migraines and dizziness, along with a full glass of water. "No, you still need a lot of rest and I don't want to see you in the kitchen," she said firmly, with a disapproving tone.
Maya grimaced. God, boredom is going to drive her crazy! She misses the kitchen so much.
"I'm visiting my sister," Nana Rose announced.
Maya gazed at the handbag draped over Nana Rose's shoulder. "Okay."
