Maya entered a VVIP room. The neon light illuminating the room made her feel less tense. It was incredibly welcoming. She was also drawn to the beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It emits sensual vibes.
The stripper pole dangling from the ceiling to the floor piqued her interest. Maya cheeks flushed. She looked away. She finally turned her attention to the three men in the room. Two men sat on a long couch, while the third man was sitting at the poker table behind the couch.
Maya was suddenly overcome by a dizzy spell she was well accustomed to. She waited for the floor to welcome her, but a strong arm wrapped around her waist, preventing an epic fall.
She turned to face a very attractive man with kind, warm brown eyes.
"Thank you," Maya said shyly.
He gave her a boyish smile before returning to sit on the couch.
Maya notices the blonde-haired man sitting at the far end of the couch. He was puffing away on his cigar. He was handsome, in a Ken doll sort of way. He gave her an odd look, which caused her to avert her gaze in discomfort.
Then her eyes shifted to the man sitting behind the poker table. Maya froze. She was staring at the definition of 'gorgeous'. He has a perfect jawline, captivating green eyes, and an alluring thick dark hair that is darker than coal. His muscular body filled out the suit he was wearing flawlessly. Everything about him is perfect. Maya was dazzled.
When the gorgeous-looking man stared back at Maya, she blushed profusely. He noticed her staring. She quickly looked away.
Maya collected herself and spoke in a professional tone. "Hello, I am Maya, your server for tonight. What can I get you guys?" She put on a bright smile, but deep down she felt like a volcano about to erupt because the gorgeous man was still staring at her. She feels so intimidated.
"A lap dance could work just fine." Said the blonde man who was smoking the cigar.
Maya grimaced slightly at the inappropriate remark, straining hard to keep her cool.
"Aiden, leave her alone." The nice dude who saved Maya from falling barks at the blonde man shooting him a lethal glare. Then he looked at Maya with a smile tugged on his handsome face and ordered. "A martini will do. I am Oliver, by the way," He introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Oliver. "Maya's smile got wilder.
Oliver winked at her, making her giggle inwardly.
"This is Aiden." Oliver pointed to the blonde guy. "Then the handsome broody guy over there is Dalton." He jokes, pointing at the gorgeous man Maya is captivated with.
Maya stared at the gorgeous man. She was so mesmerized by his beauty. She never knew men could be beautiful. Because he is so beautiful, it is hard for her to fathom.
"Dalton" She whispered his name underneath her breath. Oh, God, she is acting weird. She needs to get a grip.
Maya got back to a professional mode. "Anything else, Oliver?"
He shook his head.
She turned to the two other men "Okay, what about you two? Umm….? Aiden and Dalton right?"
The gorgeous man, Dalton raised his head and pinned his eyes on her. Maya's lips went dry as waves of jitters swam in her tummy.
Why does this guy make her feel nervous?
But he quickly returned his gaze to his phone, leaving Maya feeling awkward.
Suddenly, Aiden, the blonde guy, curled his arms around Maya's waist and pulled her into his lap.
Maya squirmed in fright, trying to wriggle herself out of his grip.
"Let me go!" She yelled
"Aiden let her go!" Oliver shouted at him.
"No" Aiden refused.
Goosebumps attacked her skin as his grip on her waist got tighter.
"Let me go!" Maya's eyes were stung with tears. She was engulfed with fear.
Oliver was about to storm over when Dalton spoke, causing him to freeze in place.
"Let her go Aiden." Dalton's voice was deep and gentle, like a morning breeze. But it had a sheer volume of command and authority.
"Fine, you guys are no fun at all. Especially you, Dalton," Aiden, the jerk, grumbled, releasing Maya.
Maya sighed in relief and moved away from him.
"Thank you," Maya said softly to Dalton.
He ignored Maya's gratitude and placed his order instead. "I want a bottle of whiskey." He said, staring straight into her eyes.
Maya's cheeks flushed pink. "Alright will go get your drinks." She managed to say and stride out with tears threatening to spill out.
Maya clutched her chest when she made it out of there. She let her tears flow. That Jerk, Aiden made her feel so weak and powerless when he straddled her in his arms. Natalia was right they did make her cry.
She stopped crying and dashed to the restroom to wipe away any tears on her face before sprinting to the bar as fast as her heels could carry her.
Maya's motto in life is that she will never dwell on sadness. Life is too short to dwell on things that have caused her pain. She just cries and gets over it quickly so she can move on to things that matter the most.
She walked over to the bar on this floor, which was reserved exclusively for VVIP members. Each section of the gentlemen's club has its bar, and the quality of the liquors varies too.
And every VVIP room has its mini bar stocked with liquor based on preference, including the VVIP room she just walked out from. This is to ensure the VVIP members get their privacy.
But most men in the VVIP rooms prefer being served by waitresses instead of fetching drinks from the minibars. So most of the mini bars are left empty.
She guessed the men she was serving felt the same way, too, since the mini bar in their room was unstocked.
"Hey, Robert" Maya strutted up to the bartender behind the counter, flashing him a small smile.
The bartender grins at her. "Your stepfather has finally convinced you to show some skin." His eyes drew her in.
Maya laughed, and snorted, forgetting she was crying a few minutes ago.
"No, mine got ruined. This is Laura's. And well my stepdad likes how I look. So get used to seeing me dressed like this." She jokes lightly
"How sexy do you look hope those dirty old men aren't giving you a problem?" the bartender asked with concerns
Maya chuckled. "No. it's all good ." She denied it, pretending she wasn't harassed by that jerk, Aiden, a moment ago. She hates complaining to others about her problems. It makes her feel more of a weakling.
"A bottle of Martini and a whiskey please."
"I got you," The bartender darted a goofy grin at her making her face lit up.
"There you go, Hun. " The bartender set a bottle of whiskey and Martini on the counter.
Maya found an empty serving cart in a corner, retrieved it, and placed the drinks on the cart's top shelf.
"Don't let those men intimidate you." The bartender said sounding like a protective dad.
"Sure."
"Don't forget the ice."
"Oh," Maya took the ice bucket and placed it on the second shelf of the cart.
"See you later." Maya wheeled the serving cart into the VVIP room. She retained her nervousness, making sure it didn't slip on her face.
Dalton had left the poker table and was now sitting in the middle of the long couch.
"Welcome back Maya." Oliver chirped. "I am sorry about what my brother did."
Maya paused. Did she hear him say, brother? She flicked her eyes back and forth between him and that jerk Aiden, trying to find the similarities.
"We are brothers. The three of us.," Oliver said, cresting up her confusion.
Maya's eyes widened slightly as she stared at them. These three men are brothers? They have three different sets of eyes. Green, brown, and blue. Dalton's hair is black, Oliver's hair is Brown, and Aiden the Jerk has blonde hair. This is so weird to her.
"Same mother but different fathers," Oliver said, clearing her confusion.
"Oh," Maya added a smile trying not to show how shocked she was.
"My fucking God are you always going to tell every stranger you meet about how bizarre our family is? "Aiden, the jerk, fuss with a groan.
Oliver grits." I'm just being friendly, you jerk."
Maya nearly smirked. They both agree his brother is a jerk.
"You worse than your twin brother." Aiden claps back.
Oliver has a twin brother? Maya wonders if his twin brother is as nice as him.
She gave Oliver a small smile and got back to doing her job as a waitress.
She took the whiskey and Martini out of the serving cart and placed them on the table in front of the couch. She took three glasses from the glass holder on the cart's bottom shelf and set them on the table with the ice bucket. She was about to scoop ice from the bucket when a hand grabbed her wrist
Her eyes flicked wide open, as she met Dalton's gaze. He stared at her with a stoic expression. His eyes melted into hers, causing her to hold her breath for a few seconds.
"You don't have to. We can do that ourselves. You can take your leave." Dalton brushed her off. He released her hand.
Maya nodded like a dummy and the strictness of his tone made her stand up straight. Her legs are itching to bolt like a scared kitten.
"I will take my leave," Maya managed to say with a bright smile as if she was not quite shaken by Dalton who is peeing into her soul with his beautiful green eyes.
She whispered to Oliver, "Bye."
Oliver smiles in return.
She turned to take her leave, eager to bolt out of their presence.
"Wait," Dalton's captivating voice halted her.
Maya wheeled around to face him.
"Apologize to her, Aiden," Dalton sternly ordered his brother, who like Maya, had been caught off guard.
Maya gasped She did not expect this.
Aiden grunts and raves his fingers into his messy blonde hair. "Fine,"
He looked at Maya with a smirk peg on his lips. "I'm sorry for harassing you. I didn't take my antipsychotic drugs so I'm a bit gaga today." He hit his head to demonstrate.
His apology made Maya more frightened of him. Did he just admit he is crazy?
"Okay," Maya said in a low tone.
Aiden huffs. "Are you satisfied big bro?" He looked at Dalton, annoyance etched on his face.
Dalton shot him a deadly look whilst his face remained stony.
Aiden cowered, the annoyance on his face faded.
"Jeez, you are scary, Dalton; you need to loosen up." Aiden grins at his brother, but no one can miss the nervousness in his eyes.
Maya looked back and forth between them, awestruck.
Aiden acts like a deviant who disregards rules. She is amazed that Dalton has some sort of control over him.
Everything about Dalton screams he is a powerful man. This makes Maya cautious of him.
He has managed to overwhelm her greatly with his domineering aura.
"Thank you," she waveringly said to him.
Dalton nods, surprising her. Maya wasn't expecting a reaction from him.
Maya pushed the serving cart out of the VVIP room, praying and hoping that after tonight, she would never have to see this gorgeous intimidating man ever again.
