Chapter 23 - Future Heroine Yukino, A Warrior of Peace.

"Set!"

"You shall heed my command; my fate is entrusted to your sword!"

"If you follow the path of the Holy Grail, those who heed this intent and truth… respond!"

Zhuang Long's invocation continued.

The chant resonated powerfully, its resolute will echoing into every corner!

Countless golden-orange lights, like fireflies, rose and flowed like a river.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…!!"

Suddenly, a fierce wind swept through, blowing open the boy's hair, as if the world itself turned to him.

The youth in feathered garments suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze fierce, and he declared loudly.

"I swear here!"

"I am the one who accomplishes all good in the world; I am the one who eradicates all evil!"

As the words fell, a dense warmth gathered, and lightning crackled like blood.

The basement transformed into a furnace, instilling a chilling sense of anxiety.

"You, bound by the three great words of the seven days, have come here in the Wheel of Suppression!"

Beyond this world, the Hall of Heroes trembled in the void.

Countless great lights soared like pillars, each symbolizing a hero.

They left behind great deeds in life, carrying endless legends in death, revered by the world, shining like a great sun throughout human history.

But…

Despite this, as the summons unfolded, the heroes stirred restlessly.

They vied to respond, eager to become the "servant" of "that person."

But with the departure of a light beam into the world, everything came to an end.

Someone had taken the lead…

No!

To be precise, as long as that person chose to summon a hero in Fuyuki City, as the "Holy Widow," he would inevitably summon that unique female hero.

Meanwhile, the last line of the invocation fell!

"Guardian of the Scales!"

"Booming…!!"

Thunder erupted.

In an instant, brilliant light illuminated everything, turning the basement into a dazzling spectacle.

The wardrobe collapsed with a crash, and the gust stirred a thick fog, sending countless pages flying.

Such a disturbance could only be caused by a powerful hero descending.

"Without a doubt, I will draw the strongest card."

The youth in feathered garments gasped slightly, smiling as he stared at the vivid red command seal on his wrist.

His hands clenched, joy bubbling within him as he prepared to unfold them.

Then…

"Hmm…?"

The dense smoke began to dissipate.

He looked around in confusion but didn't see the figure he had imagined.

"Thud!"

A strange sound echoed from the upper floor, shaking the entire basement.

Lo Shu suddenly realized; he hurried up the dim staircase, muttering under his breath.

"Damn… the door is broken…"

He Frowned, stopping at the entrance to the hall, unable to open the door lock no matter how he turned it.

In desperation, he reinforced his body with magic and kicked hard.

"Boom!"

With a resounding crash, several tons of force smashed through the security door, and the chandelier above shimmered with bright light, indicating that someone had been here.

He took a breath, leaning on his knee.

Looking around, the hall was covered in dust, with scattered furniture everywhere.

What had he gotten into?

But when his gaze shifted to the center of the hall, he was taken aback.

"Hmm…?"

There sat a striking woman with white hair tied in a ponytail, her brow slightly raised, reclining on a sofa, her left leg crossed over her right knee, seemingly in a moment of relaxation.

Tall and fashionable in black leather pants and a cropped jacket, the light revealed a gemstone necklace at her collar, shimmering with rich red hues.

She exuded a sense of effortless elegance.

Could she be…?

The boy was a bit startled.

"Hmm?!"

Just then, the white-haired woman opened her eyes, surprised.

Her lashes fluttered as she closed her right eye, a smile tugging at her lips, exuding a playful confidence with every gesture, radiating powerful personal charm.

It felt like she was employing the art of seduction.

Their eyes met, and the boy fell into a moment of trance, the atmosphere quickly falling into silence.

The scene froze in that instant.

"Is this the servant of Lo Shu-kun?"

"White hair, a strong sense of modern fashion, summoned as a swordsman or archer… could she be a general from a recent European era?"

Within the observer network, someone tentatively commented.

Soon, replies flooded in.

"Doesn't seem like it; the facial features are distinctly East Asian."

"So mysterious! She appeared in the PV, but we still can't figure it out with more information."

"However, being able to manifest as a swordsman or archer means she must have had remarkable achievements in life…"

"Her deeds could narrow down the search."

"Let's not discuss anything else; she really looks stunning when she smiles!"

"Damn, you're a face-lover. That's a Heroic Spirit we're talking about—she's been around long enough to be your ancestor... no, she might actually be your ancestor."

"That moment when she opened her eyes was like she woke up to her own beauty, haha."

"Lo-kun is in light blue, and she's dressed in black—such a perfect pairing."

"I remember from the PV intro that a Master without a relic will automatically summon the best-matched Heroic Spirit. It really is true..."

---

In the Sky World.

Compared to the light-hearted banter in the observer network, the atmosphere here felt much more solemn.

But amidst the crowd, Yukino Yukinoshita furrowed her brow, unconsciously biting her lip.

She hadn't forgotten the scene in the parallel world where she confronted and fought against this mysterious Heroic Spirit. If that Spirit's Master was Lo Shu…

Didn't that mean her parallel self was an enemy of Lo-kun?

Lo-kun was her savior. Without that necklace that warded off disasters, she might have been crushed by a truck.

Now she had to watch her parallel self try to harm Lo-kun…

The thought was unbearable.

Yukino fixed her gaze on the white-haired woman. As she examined the necklace around her neck, an inexplicable sense of familiarity washed over her, leaving her puzzled.

Then, her expression froze, as if struck by lightning.

That necklace…

Why does it look so much like the one Lo-kun gave me…?

Silently, she returned to reality, reaching into her pocket to pull out the dull, cracked gemstone necklace, comparing its size and shape one by one…

In the end, she confirmed they were the same.

Yukino slumped back onto the sofa, her gaze filled with shock and confusion.

Recalling the PV, where the Heroic Spirit interacted with her parallel self, a possibility dawned on her…

Until she could confirm it, she didn't dare to be certain.

Moments later, Yukino Yukinoshita returned to the Sky World, her expression dazed.

Then she approached the mysterious Heroic Spirit, scrutinizing her closely.

About 1.69 meters tall, with delicate skin and a charming aura…

Yukino felt somewhat satisfied.

After all, this could be a future version of herself; naturally, the more impressive, the better.

Her figure was also a perfect hourglass; if she wore heels, she'd have even more presence…

Wait a minute?!

The girl rubbed her eyes, staring incredulously at the Heroic Spirit's chest.

Why is it so small?!

After all these years, hasn't she grown at all?!

Impossible!

Absolutely impossible!

Yukino started to panic.

This is definitely not my future self!!!
