[Allyson's POV]
It's as if I'm in a zombie apocalypse — the guy continues to chew on a hand.
" A person? " He spoke; blood dripping from every bite and looming in a dark demeanor.
I almost stumble in fright. Despite the darkness covering his face, I'm sure that he's smiling at me.
" That scent. "
No.. no...
It sent shivers to my spine. I glanced to my side to grab something. With all my might I stood up and yeeted it through his bloody face. After that, I grabbed my things and rushed towards the only exit.
Adrenaline coursed into my entire body like a prey running away for it's life. I didn't look back... Didn't even think I'd retrieve my phone.
One thing remained in my mind, however...
They exist...
I have mixed feelings for this and I don't want this to happen again.
...
[ Two hours later ] in her room lies~
* Knocks.
" Ally. You okay? "
A concerned knock followed by Sherry asking me from the outside.
" We're about to close the café in half an hour. Want some coffee? " She offered.
True. A simple coffee would be good. But~
" I'm fine, Sherry. "
Sherry didn't reply back. Sorry Sherry. I'm just not in the mood right now.
I curl up under my sheets, desperate to forget what happened earlier; covering myself with two blankets. I began to remember what my Aunt used to say to me.
" We're not normal. "
What does that mean? I'm like that person? No. I don't have the like to harm anyone let alone eat one.
It was a good thing, I didn't barfed in front of that maniac. But since I've just landed on a big secret. It doesn't mean it'll explain everything.
I had to do some research to find my leads. In the meantime, all I could hear was the sound of the ceiling fan and both Sherry and Todd downstairs.
I hear Sherry talking about how I returned to the Cafe with my expression chased by a ghost. Todd then speculates that maybe Boss called me and gave me mind. They continued their conversation before heading downstairs to clean up.
I want to tell them what I saw at the building, but I don't think they'll believe in me anyway.
I just wanna sleep and forget everything~

[Third Person's POV]
The night was cold, the moon was bright. The two employees of the Brown Cup Cafe had to close as it was late at night.
" Hans might rush to arrive here. " Todd guesses that Hans, their boss might arrive late as he attaches a piece to the coffee grinder. Sherry looked quite worried for Allyson. She felt that something had happen.
* Wind chimes echoing.
Someone entered. Sherry didn't pay attention but rather informed the person the café would close — a large BAANGG crashed.
" What the. ".
Todd was about to stand up but was grabbed and thrown into the tables.
This was no ordinary customer.
Allyson, who was about to fall asleep, immediately stood up from the noise. She looked at her door and shouted.
" Guys?! "
Instead of an assurance, things like glass breaking and clamoring of chairs echoed below.
" No... ". Allyson quickly got off her bed as she hurriedly walked downstairs. She felt her heart beating faster with every second.
Then she met a disaster.
A large man is seen on the counter choking Sherry in enmity. Todd was at the floor - lying gory in an unconscious state. Allyson almost screamed, she held her mouth in a trembling manner.
" What should I do? What should I do. "
She knew she had to help, but the fear kept on her way. She cried a little before looking back. The huge person was still choking Sherry without mercy. She crawled out of the kitchen and stood as she approached the guy.
She thought to herself. " when did this large guy enter the café? "
She lifts a chair. Sherry notices her while grasping for breath.
" Ally, don't... "
She ignored the attempt and slam a chair across its head. Pieces of the chair scattered everywhere revealing how tough it's head was.
She had seen his face. A monster!
" Ally... " He drops Sherry. Her eyes lost focus as she fell unconscious.
" Oh, sh*t. ".
The monster roared in daunting screams. He walked closer and grabbed Allyson by her sleeve and tossed her away.
Allyson slowly stood up, aching and coughing. She grabbed an object behind her and vigorously tossed it on his head — but the monster was unfazed.
Ominously, the monster mumbles in frustration; chains wrangled on its neck. With one hoof on the floor and the other on a broken table, he effortlessly grabs Allyson by her neck.
* Grunting. *
Allyson saw her cellphone fall from the monster's cloak.
( That can be... ) Allyson thought to herself; she felt a surge of guilt. She knew she led the monster here. It was all her fault.
" You're kinda persistent. ".
Allyson tries to fight back. Her feeble arms can't even reach his face.
" This is getting longer. The scent is quite intoxicating " The monster thought carefully.
He grips his arm, blocking Allyson from breathing. The seconds are fading.
Allyson is losing her strength. All she could do was struggle and think why is this happening?
( Why? )
( I dug too much. )
( Sorry... Sherry..Todd .. I'm sorry Boss. )
A voice whispered in her mind.
" You're not normal, aren't you? "
Allyson opened her blurry eyes. She didn't mind the anonymous voice but rather the words instead.
( Normal. What is "normal" even is? )
( Am I gonna die? Am I gonna be eaten by this monster? )
She asked herself.
( That's strange... I feel weird. This is not what death feels like, isn't it? )
( It's like I can feel... )
" Alive. "
Allyson mumbles. Her body was bathed in a strange faint light and her right eye gleamed. The monster instinctively let go. He was confused by the strange phenomena.
With a step back, Allyson grabbed his ragged cloak; her fingertips glowing as well.
" Go away. "
Her voice cackles and slowly returns to normal. The choke mark from her neck fades. With a ghastly face and a few of her strands turning white, something luminous is happening.
The Café was bathed in minty green light. The broken debris began to float midair. The pieces slowly reconstruct themselves. It even fixed both the broken floor and the injuries nearby.
" Release me! "
The monster clenched its fist. But before his fist deliver a massive blow, the finger tips then began to vanish like it was a holographic dispersion. Fading into the air and the confusion.
" This ability. I see. ". His body vanished in midair.
Allyson fell on the floor, consciousness fell apart as the second goes by. The light began to disperse and everything that had been wrecked in the café was returned properly again.
* Allyson panting.
She glanced at Sherry for A last time. A smile crept in her before followed by a THUD. Allyson falls asleep.

[Allyson's POV]
" Allyson. ".
A voice called my name.
" Milady. ". Another voice called me, except it was creepier than the first one.
.
.
.
I slowly opened my eyes. I was lying in my bed. I scanned around and the first thing I noticed were my clothes. Fred then enters the room carrying a chicken soup.
" Ally! You're finally awake!" He hurriedly placed the soup on top of the drawer and approached me.
" What happened? " I asked.
Fred explains that two days ago, I was lying on the floor and both Sherry and Todd escorted me to my room. It seemed I had a high fever which explains why I feel my body weak.
" Are they okay? " I asked again.
With a confused look, Fred told me nothing bad happened to both Sherry and Todd. It was then I realized they didn't remember what occured.
" Nevermind. ". I shrug it off.
Fred smiled as he left me to recover. I reached for my neck back and my neck — no visible marks were left on me.
I slowly got off my bed and noticed an eye patch was covering my right eye.
Curious. I reached for a mirror.
My right eye... It's different. It had these lines stuck in my iris. It was like a clock etched on my eye.
I wore the eye patch back and I walked downstairs to see everyone. Nothing did happen bad, I'm relieved.
" Ally, you're awake!! " Sherry hugs me in a comfort.
She then asked me why I was still wearing my eye patch which I play it off.
" Your hair turned white. Did you color it? "
Now that she mentioned it, a few strands of my hair had turned white.
" At least it looks good on you. " Sherry chuckles.
I noticed that there were few customers outside.
" You okay now, Allyson? " Todd asked.
I smile back, assuring everyone that I'm okay. I began to wonder why that happened -
The past.....
The power...
The secret.....
* Door opens.
Boss enters. He had this worried look.
He greets me.
I mumbled then he for gestured everyone to leave us two alone for a moment.
" Are you still mad about me? " I asked.
I know that everything happened because of me that night. I even managed to let that monster get in.
" Of course! " He crossed his hands, eyebrows high and that look.
" You left without my permission and got into a very dangerous situation. "
It did happened. I can determine it from his scolding and it seems he even hid it from everyone.
" I'm glad your safe. "
Boss continued as he sat onto a chair next to me.
" Allyson, I was thinking of something that I need to tell you. " He spoke.
" You're different. "
I didn't flinch. It was expected.
" That's reassuring. " I replied. I looked below. My fingers still had bandages all over.
" I've always thought I was different than others. " I replied back.
I asked Boss if everyone knew. He nodded no.
" Listen carefully. Your Aunt instructed me to let you know about this when you've had your first actual changes. And it's not an illness. " He explained. He then gave me an address.
" I apologize for telling you this late. It was Evelyn's decision. " He added.
I asked him about it.
" It's Evelyn's last message when she was still working in London. "
I looked at the address. It was unknown. I don't get it.
" You should head to London. ".
What?
" Go see it for yourself, Allyson. ". He exclaimed.
What is he talking about?
" You can find your answers there. " He added. I looked at the address one last time before commenting. It sure looks old and a bit wrinkled. Though the stamps are about to peel off.
" Well, I better pack my things. "
*******************************
( Two days later. )
I'm off to head to London. It was sad that I had to leave them behind.
But It's probably for the best. I don't want them to be harmed again by my actions yet be involved in such.
Boss said that I had to be prepared in England. No one knows what awaits me there.
There are a lot of questions left unanswered, left to me to find it alone.
I'm curious. And also afraid.
* Plane Intercom
" Argh. "
I felt a sharp pain from the screeching of the music. My head aches from its tune, making me look at the back — no one seemed bothered by the awful sound.
Couldn't they hear it? Or is it me who can hear it?
" Bl-... Blu... St-on... "
It mumbled at me. I traced the sound toward the restroom. It was occupied. Weird. But there's no doubt that no person using the room.
I made sure not to act like a creep before I stuck my ear on the wooden frame.
" Mom look. "
A boy saw me two rows away. Her mother had this suspicious look. Ugh Too late.
Anyway, I can hear the sound inside without any disturbance. My head still aches a bit as a result.
In a full minute, it stopped being occupied. Twisting the handle and there I found nothing. The open space toilet and neatly folded tissue nearby greeted me without a trace of anyone using it.
I must've been exhausted to misheard things.
I headed back to my seat - wondering the mysterious event that happened a few minutes ago.
I was taken aback when I picked up a sticky note taped on my seat. I looked at the person beside me. The dude was sound asleep.
I look again everywhere, hoping it was some kind of prank played on me.
" London, The Trafalgar Square "
Who left this for me?

[ Third Person's POV ]
Somewhere in a dark place. With the sky having violent traces of lightning and the sound of chains below. Another sound disrupts the tension of this mysterious place. Heavy footsteps began to echo in a long hallway.
A huge shadow looms in when passing to a nearby torch. This creature stops in front of a large heavy door.
" Who is it? "
A woman's voice asks. She approached the door and looked at the peephole. She smiles as soon she sees those familiar horns and menacing glowing eyes.
" Damon. Already back? "
She exclaims in a low soft tone. The bull-man kneeled before the very door.
" I have something to report...".
" It's about a certain person... "
