The Sis Cathedral is the most magnificent building in Sis City, with towering white spires rising like mountains from its marble structure. It looks imposing and grand, and the gilded sculptures perfectly reflect the luxurious character of Sis. Behind the Cathedral lies the vast complex of the Sis Holy Court.

This was Arabella's first time leaving the Papacy since becoming a Demon Attendant. She still remembered the shock she felt when she first beheld this magnificent Cathedral, as if witnessing a miracle; the beauty that seemed to belong to another world made her feel as though she could never tire of it.

However, after staring at the building for over three hours, her neck had begun to ache, and those exquisitely carved statues were not as captivating anymore.

Dorian stood with his arms crossed, eyes closed in contemplation. Bishop Timothy had forced Arabella to participate in this mission; given her current strength, going to Rosé City was akin to sending her to her death.

However, since the circumstances of her previous accidental entry into the dungeon had not yet been clarified, and Arabella herself could not explain why she had gone there, she felt as though she had been drawn there by fate. In light of this, it was unclear whether remaining at the Papacy was any safer; keeping her by his side was certainly better than leaving her alone, especially if she were to run into danger and he could not reach her in time.

The luxurious carriage prepared for their journey to Rosé City was waiting at the entrance, ready to depart at any moment. Yet the person who was to accompany them had yet to arrive.

"Do you know that Alicia? I've heard she's a dazzling beauty?" Arabella asked.

"She's strong," Dorian replied, still with his eyes closed. "She tends to be quiet, but she can be ruthless in battle."

He had known Alicia for quite some time; she had been by Bishop Timothy's side since he was brought back to the Papacy. He recalled her always standing quietly behind the Bishop, and Timothy often had Alicia train with him. In the early years, he had endured many bruises from her; it was only when he began to physically develop that he gained the ability to compete with her.

And Alicia had also grown from a half-grown girl into the dazzling "Golden Rose ."

Later, after contracting with Dilia and spending years undertaking missions, he had seen less of this old acquaintance. It was said that she had become increasingly brutal in her methods over the years, leaving a gruesome scene at every mission site, causing great headaches for the cleanup crew.

Three hours had passed since the scheduled time. The people trained by Timothy would not make such mistakes, and Dorian had an uneasy feeling; her delay was too long, and something might have gone wrong.

Finally, two figures appeared in the magnificent archway of the Cathedral.

Arabella couldn't help but marvel again at how the Sis Papacy truly produced stunning beauties.

The beautiful Witch walking ahead was dressed in a black long gown, her attire more opulent and magnificent than any Witch she had seen before. The layers of her skirt gradually transformed into a fiery red near the ground, embellished with scattered red crystals that sparkled like stars. A large pigeon blood stone adorned her fair neck, radiating a brilliant red light. Her light golden hair was intricately braided, sprinkled with countless tiny diamonds, making her appear to shine bright.

She truly was a "dazzling" beauty, her jewelry sparkling to the point that Arabella felt her eyes might be blinded. If Dorian, who treated Holy Water like a meal, represented understated luxury, this woman was the embodiment of wealth, practically writing it across her face.

The slightly more subdued blonde Priest behind her wore the same white Priest robes as Dorian, dragging along an enormous travel suitcase. His hair was brighter than the Witch's, and paired with his emerald green eyes, he exuded a warm, sunny presence.

Dorian was quite familiar with this person: High-ranking Priest Joshua, the most powerful support Priest in the Sis Papacy. He almost never used attack spells but was extremely proficient in supportive spells, especially defensive ones, making him second to none.

He was Alicia's partner. Since Timothy, as Bishop, couldn't leave the Papacy for long periods, he had Joshua accompany Alicia to assist her instead. This time, Timothy hadn't mentioned that Joshua would also come, but it was expected that he would follow wherever Alicia went.

When not on a mission, Joshua taught supportive spells at the seminary and often worked alongside Dorian. He was gentle and courteous towards others, meticulous in his actions—a commendable teammate. Having Joshua along certainly provided some reassurance for this uncertain journey.

"You're late," Dorian said with a disapproving expression.

"Sorry, we ran into some trouble, and made you wait," Joshua said earnestly, apologizing.

Dorian felt a slight chill; being able to delay these two skilled individuals suggested that something was indeed amiss within the Papacy.

"Yeah, it was really hard to choose between the pigeon blood stone or the diamond for my jewelry. It was such a hassle," remarked the blonde Witch next to him, displaying a distressed expression.

"..."

"Alicia, we're going to be away for a long time, so just bring everything and switch it up each day," completely ignoring Dorian, who was stunned into silence, the two of them began discussing jewelry.

"That's not the same," Alicia frowned. "This is my first time collaborating with other Witches, and it's our first meeting; I want to make a good impression."

What kind of impression could be made after making someone wait for more than three hours for such a ridiculous, trivial reason? Dorian felt his face twitch slightly in annoyance.

The blonde Witch skipped over to Arabella and took her hand. "You must be Arabella, right? I'm Alicia, and from now on, we'll be teammates~" She flashed a cheerful smile.

"Hello, Alicia." Arabella felt that Alicia was not at all like what Dorian had described; although her temperament seemed a bit strange, she appeared quite friendly. She smiled back and greeted Alicia.

"You looked very different the first time I saw you. Back then, you resembled a Demon, and I just wanted to take a few swings at you. I wonder what the sensation would have been." Alicia remarked.

Arabella's smile vanished.

The blonde Witch seemed oblivious to her change in expression and continued to chummily engage her. "Can you still transform? Can you show me? I promise I won't chop your head off…"

"That's enough!" Dorian, unable to tolerate it any longer, pulled Arabella behind him. "We're wasting too much time on frivolous matters; Rosé City is in a dire situation, and we need to depart immediately."

The scolded blonde Witch glared at him unhappily, then turned and climbed into the carriage.

"Well, this has gotten lively," Joshua remarked, his expression indicating he was enjoying the spectacle. Dorian and Alicia were the two strongest trump cards under Timothy, both known for being difficult to get along with. They had never collaborated before. For both of them to be sent out at the same time, it seemed that Bishop Timothy had been pushed to his limit.

He loaded Alicia's enormous suitcase into the carriage and then climbed in himself. The situation in Rosé City might be even more perilous than they imagined, and this journey would not be calm.
